We were visiting Gettysburg for their commencement ceremony and the location is hard to beat. It was an easy 15 minute drive to Gettysburg, near shopping, main roads, and convenient to restaurants. The home is nestled in the woods, enjoying a cup of coffee on the balcony was the best part of the weekend. The home is spacious, each living area is well equipped to keep everyone entertained. Kitchen is well stocked, and there is plenty of room to sit, lounge, and rest. This home is a great option if you're traveling with a larger group to any of the surrounding towns. We had a fantastic stay at Alvin's and I'd highly recommend it.

I surprised my husband with this trip with our son, nephews and brother in law for a birthday guys weekend. They were so happy with everything! My husband said it was the best weekend! Such a beautiful place! They didn’t have one complaint. Loved the set up and fishing and scenery! I’m so thankful they got this experience! My husband definitely wants to go back!

The pictures don't do this cabin any justice. It was so beautiful and peaceful there! We seen lots of wildlife every morning. It was close to all the places we wanted to go and see. We felt right at home during our stay. We plan on staying again when we return to gettysburg. Chad was very responsive.

Amazing location in the mountains. Great location to everything we needed during our stay as we were back and forth to Gettysburg, Emmitsburg, Mount St. Mary and Thurmont. His home had everything we needed and more. We will definitely be back. Thank you very much for sharing your airbnb with our family.

We stayed at Michael’s place for a golf weekend getaway and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The house was in amazing shape. Super clean and clearly updated with a lot of thoughtful, modern touches. The hidden room behind the bookshelf was such a cool surprise to my other guests, and the porch made a perfect spot to unwind. Check-in was a breeze with the door code, and Michael was incredibly responsive and helpful from start to finish. He even left us farm fresh eggs and strawberries - a great touch! The surrounding area is gorgeous and peaceful, with great little towns nearby and easy access to Gettysburg and some fantastic golf courses. It looks like Michael’s still improving the space, and I can already tell it’ll only keep getting better. Can’t recommend it enough!
