Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Fairfield County

Stayed briefly and would definitely stay again as well as recommend to others visiting the area. Conveniently located if visiting for both military purposes or college events. Beautiful location with great hosts.

What a great space for a fun family weekend! We had lots of room for four couples and everything we needed was provided. The fun touches like the salon and endless games made this a very unique stay. Melinda was extremely responsive and friendly and even left us some treats and snacks for our stay. We are already planning trip #2!

Beautiful location, quiet, peaceful, private and as advertised. The house was great, had everything you would need and more. An excellent option if you need comfort and quiet. The lake is very accessible, quiet, and clean. Cant say enough about the host, an overall great experience and very easy to work with. Trust me when I say, the host can make or break the quailty of the stay. We will definatly stay at Alan's place, again.

Loved our stay! Plenty of room for 4 families (cousins that grew up together!) and our kids. The older kids loved the game room with pool and ping pong, & the kayaks & paddleboards. Nice to have life jackets for our use! The younger kids loved playing in huge grassy yard, hammock swinging, kayaking, and building forts in the "kids" TV room (w/ foosball table and three twin beds). There was so much space inside and outside to hang out with our large family. Many places to sit, and floor space for two babies to roam. Kitchen was well stocked with most things you should need. Beautiful setting, and the adults loved sitting on the screened porches, chairs by the fire pit and admiring the peaceful lake and sunsets. Well stocked with towels, and some beach towels too. Owner was easy to communicate with and flexible on check-in and check-out times, which was appreciated with the chaos of herding kids! There are a LOT of stairs, which wasn't an issue for us, but something to note.

Lovely home. Dock for fishing. Nice yard. House was clean and easy to find/get into. Lots of utensils, towels, products etc. enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful, lovely views of the lake. Literally 2 mins from the state park.

The home is beautiful and the yard backs up right to a wonderfull view of the lake. The property is large enough for various activities. He has kayaks available for your use. We had a wonderful time there and would certainly stay there again.

The sunset is amazing. The cabin is very nice and decorated. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. The outdoor area is very nice, we had some problems with the cleanliness, some dirty kitchen utensils, dirty refrigerator and microwave with food leftovers. The cabin needs a deep cleaning. We needed to buy some things that we missed in the kitchen. The dishwasher didn't work, but they fixed it the same day. Jesse was very quick to help solve the problems and helped us with everything else. We were the first visitors after a long time without renting, so the cabin doesn't have everything we usually find in an Airbnb. There isn't much to do in the area. If you are looking for a very nice and quiet place, this is the place.

Got married this weekend at a local venue and this house was perfect for our small wedding party. Outdoor spa was amazing and everything was super clean. Rana was very responsive and even allowed us to check in earlier. Loved our stay and would definitely go back!

Our stay at the lakehouse was amazing! Stephanie was so responsive and friendly. We loved having the tips on things to do and places to see, so we did not miss out! We went to Rocky Creek Trail for a short and easy hike that includes waterfall views, snagged a boat rental from Dutchman Creek Marina (where the food and drinks are exceptional!), and of course relaxed at the lake house in the many spots to sit and soak in all the lake life. Would absolutely LOVE to come back!

Beautiful place and location. Brought our whole family and our dogs for Thanksgiving. Had a great time. Karen was very responsive to questions and we felt right at home. Highly recommend.
