Casa Tanana

BelindaRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Excellent location to relax after a long day of exploring Alaska! The views are breathtaking and an extraordinary way to start and end your day. My morning coffee isn’t the same without the view of the river and mountains! The short drive to town makes it convenient for shopping or enjoying all that Fairbanks has to offer including Lulu’s bread and bagels, museum of the north, and the Tanana Valley Farmers market. We also enjoyed being able to use the gas grill and having two bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. The open living space surrounded by windows allowed us to enjoy the view from almost anywhere, while the longer Alaskan days helped increase the viewing time. Excellent home, great location, astounding views, hope to return!!!

We had a great stay in Fairbanks at this home. Cozy interior and enough room for 4 adults. Close to shopping and downtown Fairbanks (10 minutes). Home was as pictured and very clean inside. We made use of the convenient washer and dryer as this was the midway point of our week long road trip. Would book again.

Waterfront Unique Hangar Home FloatPond *JACUZZi

SusanRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Ruth’s place could not be more perfect. I always look for quality, location, amenities and communication with our host. This airbnb had it all! The space for 2 couples was amazing. We each had our own floor and space. Bed’s really comfy. Shower was great. It was close to everything-esp all activities around the summer solstice. It was hotter than normal and Ruth came through quickly with more fans. Luckily it cooled off during the night. I slept really well. And loved sitting by the water watching the planes taking off with my coffee in the morning. Amenities and space delivered as promised and Ruth was so quick to respond. You cannot go wrong staying here!

Whenevery I visit Fairbanks, Alaska in the future, I want to stay at this location. It is perfect in every way. I have two sons and their families that live in Fairbanks and this location is mid-way between both of them. I also have in-laws that live there and they are able to drive to this location for dinner and to visit. I loved this location and hope to rent it again in the near future.

Murie Lodge

IanRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Jon’s place was in great condition and had everything we needed for our stay. The house is 5 min from a small grocery store if you need anything quick and 15 min from North Pole town. We felt safe while we stayed there and were happy with how peaceful the neighborhood was. You can see the northern lights by just stepping outside. Jon even texted us at night to let us know we could see them which was super helpful. He was accommodating and always very responsive. Checkin and checkout were also very easy and we had no problems. I would recommend staying here

Alaskan Midnight Sun Apartment Sleep 1-6

PhilRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Wonderful stay! Melissa’s place was in a beautiful setting with lots of birds, flowers and gardening going on around the house. We had the opportunity to chat one morning and it was truly inspiring to learn and see first hand independent Alaska living - growing one’s own food. My family, with young kids, really enjoyed the stay. Melissa also had additional little perks like - some oatmeal, spices, laundry detergent, extra towels, ziplock bags and odds and ends which proved very convenient and made our stay all the more relaxing. Since we arrived after taking a red eye to Fairbanks she also had the place set up nicely so all we had to do is get the kids straight to bed! The location is nicely placed if you wanted to drive out to Chena Hot Springs. You save yourself about 20 minutes rather than driving all the way out Fairbanks.

Rustic Modern Cabin in Town+WiFi+Trails+Fire Pit

SyriannaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
This was the perfect cabin for me and my friends first visit to Fairbanks. It had everything listed and more. So far it has been the best stay I have had due to the stocked cabinets of food and beverages. Remi and Matt were great host with check-in accommodations and communication was very responsive. I highly recommend staying here if you want to catch the aurora lights or simply be in a great location with access to everything you can do in Fairbanks. All of our expectations were met and would stay again.

Tanglewood Inn - Cozy & Beautiful

AmandaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
My partner and I had a great stay at Jessica’s—perfect base for our Fairbanks trip. She was super responsive, especially early on when I had questions about Wi-Fi (which worked great for video calls) and also flexible about renting her car, though we ended up using a friend's. The cabin is simple, cozy, and full of thoughtful touches—little things you don’t usually find in a rental but would have at home. It really elevated the whole experience. One warning: the porch is slanted—my suitcase rolled off and banged down the stairs! There were tons of mosquitoes in June, so if you’re prone to bites, be prepared. You also need to slam the front door or it won’t close all the way, and bugs get in fast. During a nearby wildfire alert, Jessica kept us informed promptly. It’s about 20 minutes from town, so a car is a must. There aren't trails right by the place that you could walk to but lots of scenic beauty very close by. Would love to return in winter! Thank you Jessica & fam!

1 bedroom cabin, 1 queen, 1 full/twin bunk bed

GregoryRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Carol's place was in a quiet forested area to the north of Fairbanks, which perfectly suited our group. The premises were very well presented and very clean and tidy. If you want a place that is walking distance to shops and close to downtown Fairbanks, this is not the place for you, but with a car it does not take long to reach services. An excellent stay.

Angela was a great communicator, super helpful from the start! I had this spot saved back when we were supposed to come to Alaska in 2023, so the outhouse caught us a little off guard due to not refreshing myself on amenities… but hey, we’re hardy Midwesterners, we adjusted just fine. 😉 Thankfully the fan kept things cool and comfy for sleeping, and I can only imagine how magical this place must be in the winter with the Northern Lights dancing overhead!
