Marouane's place has been one of the most beautiful stays I've been in. I had the honor and privilege to stay at Marouane's during the month of Ramadan, so I had the pleasure of experiencing the varied festivities in the Medina during this holiday. Not only is this place centrally located and extremely walkable, Marouane's hospitality is unmatched. Marouane was consistently responsive, patient, and went above and beyond if I had any concerns. Marouane was like a father-figure to me, and his nurturing nature made me feel even more at home.

A well-lit room is accessed through a glass-paneled door, showcasing a simple design. A small white table and an ottoman are positioned near a large window, which is adorned with sheer curtains that allow natural light to fill the space.

Thank you for a wonderful stay the house like always is so clean and beautiful Madiha is the best host Madiha is there everytime you need her the home is very beautiful and nice the area is so very quiet and very convenient to stores and not far away from the house Madiha and her husband are the most pleasant and polite this home I have stayed there now for three time and every time it's the same clean and quiet place to stay if you go to Tunisia this is the home you should stay at its to me is more then a 5 star home thank you so much Madiha we will be back again soon

Well designed spacious comfortable flat. Historical building, which is not in great shape but is average of Tunis. Concierge was helpful but you will need a working phone connection for sure. The street is a bit dark and building is after a passage so would be easier to find during the day. Very close to heart of Tunis, both the French architecture modern center and the Ottoman architecture old town

The location of the apartment was great—really close to grocery stores and pretty much everything was within walking distance. The place was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Big thanks to Walid—honestly one of the kindest and most helpful hosts we've met. He made everything super easy and was always there when we needed something. Really appreciated!

I'd like to say that staying at Manel Airbnb was amazing. from day one, my plane got seriously delayed and Manel made sure to be around to welcome me and gave a great tour of the place despite the late hour. the place is clean, big, well equipped and close to some main attractions like the Bardo Museum. the location is also very quiet. The last day I forgot my charger after check out and Manel was again very responsive to make sure that I got my charger back. I'll return to this place without thinking twice

New apartment and beautiful terrace in the city center

The apartment is located near the French Consulate and close to Avenue Habib Bourguiba, which is one of the central landmarks of the city of Tunis. Therefore, in my opinion, it is a safe area, even at night. The building’s staircase is in poor condition and urgently needs renovation and cleaning. The apartment is on the top floor — a long and strenuous climb. It has a very pleasant balcony. The rooms are nice, with air conditioning in the living room and an oil heater in the bedroom. The kitchen is functional, although I missed having a microwave. I loved the Delonghi coffee maker.

Houdas house was just incredibly beautiful and cozy. The decoration in each room was thought out with a lot of love and art. Thus, the house invites you to an old-new and modern oriental ambience at the same time. Each piece of furniture, decoration & equipment and colors of the rooms offer a relaxing cozy atmosphere. You can tell a lot of time, work and love has been put into this. The house is much nicer than the pictures. I would recommend this beautiful house to everyone, immediately! For the price and performance ratio, the house is an incredible gem💖. We immediately felt comfortable and didn't want to move out. If we were to do Tunisia again, we would want to stay there again! Houda was responsive, was always there. The location is quiet and does not look inviting at first glance. You have to be aware that you are staying in the old town and in the middle of it. The paths and alleys are safe and are illuminated, but there is some garbage lying around.

This very nice apartment combines modern comforts with the charm of old Tunisian mansions. The kitchen is very well equipped, the beds spotless, the water from the shower very hot, the terrace very pleasant. The apartment is located in the heart of the Medina, the souks are very close and many taxis cross the Place du Gouvernement a stone's throw away. The hostess was kind enough to provide us with supplies: water, butter, bread, jams and honey! Extra benefit: If you are a French speaker, you will find in the library many books about Tunisia. You're all set for an enchanting stay!

Aziz's apartment is very nice, there is everything you need inside. The location is great if you want to stay close to the medina, just a 10-minute walk away it is full of delicious restaurants with typical Tunisian food. The only negative note about the apartment was the toilet that got clogged one evening, but during the night it fixed itself so the next morning everything was fine. Aziz is very kind and helpful, he responds promptly to messages.

Martial picked us up from the airport and gave us some useful Tips. also our Check in and Check Out Times were kinda unusual which was no Problem :) all in all it was a blast. As a digital nomad, I’ve been using Airbnb and similar situations for the last 2+ years and can confidently say this is the most beautiful and unique place I’ve stayed. It is the kind of place where you get inspired. It is part museum and part fruit of love of the owners meticulous restoration efforts of this historic house. But don’t be scared. It has all the modern amenities and they work perfectly well. Amel had warned me about the wifi coverage being it the medina but the wifi worked pretty great in one part of the house which was good enough for me and I managed to work remotely without a hitch. I can’t wait to return and bring friends next time!

It was a bit hard to locate, but after contact with Maryem, she came to us and guided us to the appartment. The appertment itself was clean and beautiful. The view from the rooftop terrace was stunning! Overall, it was clean and tidy, closely located to the Souk.

The place is really nice and extremely comfortable. With 3 rooms and 3 bathrooms, it was more than enough. But what made our stay beyond expectations is Raja and Mo. She was sooo kind and even when I got sick she made me food and brought it to me. Mo picked us up from the airport and drove us to see the different sites. He even brought me figs to take back to my mom. We really felt like it was home away from home. The area is a town, with simple people and big hearts. The souks and some of the attractions are 20 min walk or 8 min by taxi. Download “bolt” for taxi service, it’s like Uber. There a fruit market 5 min walk and a lot of restaurants and cafe around. I will truly miss being here.

Amina and Daly couldn’t have been better hosts. They are incredibly responsive and proactive in assisting us with our stay. We are thankful to their attentive and kind nature, with much recommendations and offers of support should we require it. The apartment itself is beautifully furnished and matches the listing. It is very centrally located, therefore expect some street noise, although nothing too disturbing (ear plugs are provided if needed!). The only challenge we had was with the temperamental lock on the building entrance, particularly at night on a dimly lit street. Other than this minor difficulty, through no fault of the hosts, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt most at home. Thank you again!

We loved our stay here! It was absolutely the ideal cozy and lovingly-arranged oasis to relax before going out on the bustling streets of Tunis. The location is ideal, a super short walk to the historical medina but still reachable by car and walking distance to cafes, fast-food places, and the big super markets too. Our hosts were communicative and responsive; they had cookies and bottled water for us upon arrival, and brought us delicious treats throughout the stay! We felt very taken care of. The flat itself is spacious and beautifully furnished with a lot of loving attention to detail. The rooftop terrace is really such a perfect way to take in the beautiful sounds of the city after a busy day. If anyone is very sensitive to smells, you can smell the restaurant kitchen with the windows open, but with them closed, it's really no bother. Thank you to our lovely hosts, would absolutely recommend this place!

Filippo is a very friendly and a very, very helpful person. As we had a problem with our car - at the end of our stay in Tunis and after our check-out in the apartment! - he came and helped us. The apartment is very nice and very comfortable. We had there everything we needed. The highlight of the apartment is the large, quiet and unbelievable wonderful arranged terrace! The location ist very central, you can go by foot to all the sightseeing points of Tunis and you have nice restaurants around the apartment. It was a great stay in Tunis, thank you, Filippo!

Sarra was very responsive and a gracious host, she worked with me to create a stay that worked for my longer trip in Tunis. The apartment is in a more popular and busy area, but tucked away so that you feel like you’re not in the middle of everything. If there was ever an issue, Sarra would quickly help me. Would recommend staying here again!

Had a wonderful time staying with Ali and Julia during the last few days of ramadan. We shared iftar together which was so special, and lovely to enter their world a bit in Tunis. They had beautiful and friendly cats. The home is decorated with Julia’s beautofil art, and it’s such a homely atmosphere. I enjoyed many mornings and late nights on the terrace, enjoying the view, sounds and atmosphere. Everything was clear and easy to understand / find. I’d love to come back again. :)

This is my second time staying at Zeinab’s! It never disappoints. The apartment was so clean for our arrival. The location is great in my opinion. So close to the walkable Medina, one of my favorite parts of the city. The private rooftop is a great place to spend time in the sun with your morning coffee. We stayed two nights at Raoudha's. The apartment is nice and clean, the kitchen is very well equipped. There is a lovely garden with tangerine and pomegranate trees. Raoudha and her husband are very nice and exciting conversation partners. The area around it is great, there is a street nearby with many cafes and restaurants. We will be happy to come back! Thank you Raoudha!
