Beautiful sea view, only 5 meters from the sea (no: 1 of 3)

Ten minutes driving from Klaksvik, there’s also a public bus. Two rooms: one bedroom and one kitchen with a sofa that turns into a comfortable bed. Kitchen has fridge, microwave oven with two electric plates, plus some kitchenware. There’s two external bathrooms to share with three rooms.
A serene view of a calm fjord is captured at sunset, reflecting warm hues across the water. Lush green hills gently slope down towards the shoreline, framed by dramatic cliffs. The sky transitions from gray to soft oranges and yellows, enhancing the peaceful atmosphere.

I loved Atli’s place. It is so lovely and comfortable. It has everything you need and a breathtaking view. Atli is also a welcoming and helpful host. I would absolutely recommend this accommodation for anybody visiting the Faroe Islands.

SaMa boathouse

MarcelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
nice boathouse with cozy flair right by the sea. well equipped, clean, good kitchen incl. spices and some food leftovers from previous guests, great location. you immediately feel at home. sofa bed is ok for two people, sleeping nook was too narrow and stuffy. close to the ferry port and city center. we would choose it again at any time.
A modern living space features large triangular windows overlooking the water, allowing natural light to fill the area. A comfortable sofa is paired with two armchairs, and a round coffee table is positioned on a light rug. Plants are placed near the windows, adding greenery.

Great view of the sea, about 10mins to the airport, and quiet close to both supermarket and some scene views,
The tranquil view captures gentle hills flanking a serene fjord, where reflections of clouds and mountains can be seen in the calm water. The shoreline shows soft sand and subtle vegetation, creating a peaceful natural setting.

Our stay in Arnafjordur with Atli was wonderful and we already miss our home away from home. To start, the location was just lovely, as we got to be metres away from the water and staring down a fjord whenever we looked out the window. The town was also conveniently close to Klaksvik yet was quiet, peaceful, and not as overly touristed as some other parts of the Faroe Islands. Regarding our host, Atli, he was incredibly kind, helpful, and charitable. To start, he welcomed us with free beer and snacks, and even offered us a free meal at the fish and chips shack he owns in Klaksvik (delicious btw). He also saw to any issues we had immediately, and allowed to use the building’s washer and dryer for free. Long story short, we cannot recommend staying here enough.
A serene valley is depicted, flanked by steep, lush green mountains. A small red house and a black house are nestled at the foot of the hills, overlooking a winding river that flows through the landscape.

Very nice and well kept. Lovely with bed linens, towels, shampoo, etc. (however, washing powder was missing). The only downside was the steep staircase in the apartment with no railing.

Wow, what a special place! It was an honor to stay in Annika’s family home. Such a peaceful and serene setting, and the house is lovely, clean and open. The view over the fjord is absolutely stunning. It was lovely to walk on the property, especially with all the sheep and lamb. Annika is an amazing host. Highly recommend!

Myself and 8 friends stayed at the cabin for 6 days to explore the Faroe Islands. It was a perfect base to explore with rental cars and very private. The views are very beautiful and there is a little jetty at the front and a large waterfall 5 minutes drive down the road. Fía was fantastic and always very responsive and helpful, as we messaged her a few times during our stay. The accommodation is quite basic but very cosy and great value for money. We made use of the kitchen and cooking facilities whilst there to cook meals and had everything we needed. The beds were fine and have black out blinds for the evenings. There are two supermarkets, an off license and petrol station 5 minutes drive away across the bridge. I would recommend the cabin wholeheartedly to anyone considering it! thank you Fía, we had a great time.
