Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Evora

Monsaraz is such a charming hilltop village in the Alentejo region! Jose Luis' accommodations is in the heart of the village, on the main street and just below the castle! The accommodations are very spacious, with the living, dining and kitchen areas feeling very homey! The views of the castle and the valley below from the rear terrace are amazing! This is also a haven for cat lovers, as we had several feline friends hang out on the terrace! Just be mindful of not letting them inside! This is truly the best accommodations in Monsaraz!

We loved our stay in the countryside. The house was authentic and charming and had what we needed. We loved being able to walk to a restaurant. Its a lovely peaceful area

The hosts are wonderful! Everything was great. The couple are very generous and welcoming. They let the children pick fresh strawberries, and much more. The place is quiet and well equipped. The beds are very comfortable and the shower is perfect with many clean and fresh towels. Our little dog had a lot of outdoors to hang around safetly. We will definitely come again!

We love our stay! The house is beautiful and cosy. Just a little cold, but with heaters in every room and fireplace to keep us warm in winter. The super friendly and friendly hosts, we feel at home! The village is very welcoming and the perfect starting point for a getaway to the discovery of the treasures of the high Alentejo! ❤️

We really enjoyed our stay - watching the sunset over the vineyard, stargazing, and warming ourselves by the fire. A very peaceful and relaxing place to stay.

Another fantastic few days in this gorgeous space, love the selection of books on the shelves, well equipped kitchen, and very fast response from Lawrence and on-site (but at a distance) housekeeper. Cannot fault the house for a family break.

A traditional Portuguese house fully updated inside, very comfortable and well equipped. São Bartolomeu is small village but about only a half hour drive to Évora. Beautiful countryside, friendly people, a cafe, pub, and grocery store all a short walk from Rita’s place. It was a treat to spend a few days in São Bartolomeu Do Outeiro in a clean, cozy, and comfortable home. Highly recommend Rita’s place.

We had a 1 night stay in Evora and Joaquim’s place was perfect to easily explore this beautiful city. His apartment has a compact living area with a very large main bedroom and a second bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds making it very versatile. The place was very clean and well equipped. Joaquim was very responsive and having keyless entry made it very flexible for arrival and departure. We would recommend this great apartment to anyone visiting Evora.

A good place to relax and have a good vacation.

We were very warmly welcomed by Lucia and Cuno. We immediately received some extra toys for our daughter and a bath in which she was able to play wonderfully during our stay. Furthermore, it was a very nice environment and place to stay the last few days of our vacation. Also had a few good tips from Lucia and Cuno for excursions that were also suitable with a small child. Thanks for a great time!!

We liked the apt. It was an easy drive to grocery stores and to attractions. Easy out of the city and in to the apt. The apt was roomy and well kept. We reccomend.

The house was clean, bed comfortable and the swimming pool amazing. The queen bed is too small for 2 people but we managed as the house has 3 separate beds. Beautiful garden. quiet environment. Can recommend

Charlotte was very helpful as during our stay there was a power failure throughout Portugal and she ensured that we had what we needed. On our departure there were no ubers or taxis to take us to the bus terminal and Charlotte's husband drove us. Charlotte's place is in a great location and the bed was extremely comfortable.

Everything was great, like at home. Francisco was very friendly and his accommodation is unbeatable.

José Pedro was a wonderful, attentive host. The home was one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed - large bedrooms, lots of light, a well equipped kitchen, and a luxurious back yard perfect for lounging and outdoor cooking. Fresh bread was provided each morning, still warm, which was the perfect touch. The town is small, but there are many things to do within a short drive’s distance. Would happily return.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Monte da Courela. The space is very nice and has many amenities: kitchen spices, toys for children, books, 2 televisions. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed: we asked for a crib and in addition to the crib, we had a baby bath towel. In addition, each room had a bathroom, which, for a large group with children, translated into a very comfortable stay. A special thanks to Carla, she was always available for any questions. We'll be back!

Absolutely beautiful! A must stay! Nice little gift basket, super clean and just amazing. Super comfy beds and plenty of space. If you go in the summer there is a pool and a fire pit area. So much outside entertainment areas. Good food restaurant recommendations. Easy access to the wineries, Monsaraz and Evora. Dora was very responsive. Thank you Dora!

This is a hidden gem nestled in a vineyard with a nice vegetable and fruit garden. Beautiful mild scented roses lined the entrance way to our villa. There was a large beautiful pool and our place was very clean. If you want a quiet relaxing time away from noise, light and air pollution this is the place to unwind. We did many day trips to the neighbouring towns and was always happy to be back here. Margarida and her husband, Joaquim, were gracious hosts who allowed us to pick fruits and vegetables from their farm. We enjoyed two bottles of wine (red and white wine) from their own vineyard which was very nice. Great view! Rustic and so close to nature. Great for guests who want a retreat for contemplation and to have a fun time with their families.

Amazing apartment! It is bright, spacious, beautifully designed and had all the amenities we needed. We had a great time and can fully recommend a stay :)

Our stay was simply fantastic! We were a large group, and yet everything went perfectly. The house was impeccable, super well equipped and we had absolutely everything we needed. We all felt at home from the very first moment. It was a wonderful experience, full of unforgettable moments. Without a doubt, we highly recommend it and can't wait to go back!
