Architectural Gem. Short Walk to Downtown/NU/Lake

KatherineRating, 5 stars6 months ago
The place was terrific for our family of 5 adults. Clean, as advertised, and more spacious than expected. The artwork is really impressive and we all enjoyed the architectural qualities of this historic home. The layout allowed for both family get-togethers and individual privacy. We easily found what we needed in the bathrooms and kitchen. The house was conveniently located to downtown Evanston so we were able to get around on foot. With the quiet neighborhood and comfortable beds, we all slept well during our stay. Annie left a binder of house notes, including a magazine article about the architectural history of the neighborhood, featuring this house, which was fascinating. Note: On AirBnB the house is shown at the corner of Church and Maple. The actual location is about 0.5 miles west of there, near Mason park.

Private 3rd Floor Apartment

RickRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Very comfy apartment in a great neighborhood. We were in town for a baseball game and it’s a terrific place for that, just about a 20-minute walk to Wrigley Field. The only thing to be concerned about is the stairs: there are two flights to get into the apartment and they’re fairly steep and small, so if you have mobility issues that would be a concern. I don’t and had no problem. Karen is a lovely host and was very helpful when I was getting into the place and unloading my stuff from my car. There are tons of restaurants and coffee shops in the area, so it’s a great place to explore and hang out.

A Wonderful Getaway Home on the North Shore!

Beautiful home and great location! Only a 5 minute walk to the Metra train, which makes getting into the city easy. But, also, 5-10 minutes to Highland Park and Highwood, which have great restaurants. This home was immaculate and we really enjoyed all the artwork. This was a law school graduation trip for my son, and this home really made the trip perfect

My family and I had a fantastic stay! The space was exactly as described; clean, stylish, and thoughtfully designed. Check-in was smooth, and Adam was super helpful throughout our visit. We especially appreciated the backyard for our dogs . The location was perfect. It was close to everything we needed but still quiet and peaceful. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Jim was a fantastic host. Very responsive and timely in his communications and support for our needs during our stay in their place. Their home was comfortable and well appointed with additional amenities you don't often see in AirBnB spaces, like N'espresso appliances and supplies. We would definitely consider repeat visits! Thank you, Jim!

Whole Flat in Private Club. Walk to L, Dining & Shows

NikkiRating, 5 stars1 day ago
This was my first time booking with Airbnb and all I can say is that it could not have been a better experience! Aaron was so nice and beyond helpful. The apartment was the perfect size for my husband and I. It is in a good location, we were able to get to anything we needed or wanted with just a short walk. Not only that but the building itself was so cool, the lobby is beautiful and the amenities were spectacular. We ventured to the rooftop many times because of how nice and peaceful it was. We attended a concert at the Aragon Ballroom and it’s the first time we’ve not stressed about how to make the trip there and back. It was maybe a 3-5 minute walk at most! Overall it was beyond what I was expecting. If available, anytime we will be in the area this will be our first choice!!

Walk to Oak Park from Our Sunny Turn of the Century Apt

MandyRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We loved the coziness and privacy of the place, it was such a welcome hideaway after our busy days sight seeing in downtown Chicago. The blue line train stop became our bestie because it got us downtown and back relatively quickly (30-40 min) and direct. The neighborhood was nice, walkable and we got pretty gorgeous weather. The space was clean and welcoming with all the needed necessities. So comfortable and clean, and it smelled so nice when we arrived. The bathroom was clean and bright with plenty of clean linens. We saw Jordan out walking the dog a few times but they made a point to give us good space, and responded quickly when we needed the door lock battery changed after checking. Would absolutely recommend and hope we get to visit again!

Logan Square Garden Sanctuary

PricillaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Tess’s place was exactly as described. Very clean and there were lots of little extra amenities that were appreciated. Seemed they thought of everything! Extra toothbrushes and disposable razors, Q-tips, cotton balls, snacks, water and more! Our only issue was spotty internet which might have been due to provider outages. Wasn’t too much of an issue for us as we were out exploring the city most of the day.
