Our historic school building with wonderfully high ceilings and its thick sandstone walls offers plenty of space (about 130 square meters) for up to four people. It was lovingly ecologically renovated by us until 2013. Downstairs there is a large kitchen-living room, upstairs a cozy small bedroom and a large studio, which can also be used by artistically ambitious guests. From Gräfenhausen you can go directly to the Palatinate Forest by mountain bike or on foot. The nearest climbing rock is also a 20-minute walk. In the village there is a small restaurant with a village shop and a bakery (both directly opposite the house).

The kitchen has been equipped with high-quality electrical appliances and a granite countertop, a luxurious bathroom, a metal-free solid wood bed as well as parquet floors oiled in cherry and a lime plaster and 8 large E-Velux windows and E- external roller shutters and good insulation ensure a pleasant indoor climate.

Next to the terrace, courtyard and garden there is a barbecue station with a large new Rösle gas grill & the barn which can be used as a cozy lounge. The interior of the house combines timber-framed construction with modern iron, wood, sandstone, clay walls and old with new 🖤

An ideal location for hiking on foot and stopping in the huts in the Palatinate Forest. The occupancy is designed for 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults. Enjoy your stay in the historic property from 1750, which has been restored with great commitment and has received the State Monument Award. I am your hostess with a heart and look forward to great guests, including internationally. As a native Frenchwoman who grew up in the USA, I am of course also trilingual. E-bikes can be charged free of charge in the courtyard. We ourselves ride from time to time by e-bike to France, over a beautiful route with great views.
