Barn vacation rentals in Europe

A wonderful place to spend 3 nights on the edge of the New Forest. Fabulous accommodation. Private, quiet and superb barn which was really well appointed with great facilities including a separate spa room solely for our use. Chris was a lovely host, great communication before, during and after our stay.

We had an absolutely delightful stay! The place was pleasant and just as cozy and comfortable as we had hoped. Bronwen went above and beyond to be warm and helpful, making us feel truly welcome from start to finish. It was the perfect home away from home and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a hassle-free and inviting getaway.

Beautiful accommodation. An overnight stay with my daughter, spacious enough for the two of us and some beautiful restaurants near by with a lovely walk. The accommodation was as described and Natasha was very helpful. Would love to stay again

A wonderful peaceful place which felt like a retreat. The owners were friendly and being able to join in with feeding the animals in the morning was great (not just for children). Sauna and hot tub was great. They would check what time we wanted it put on which was considerate. Was a surprise weekend for our mum and was even better than expected. Thank you for the stay x

Lucy's place was lovely! Great for an Easter getaway. We went up to Thors cave and there was a helpful guide on local walks attractions etc. The place was spotless and very cosy, we had everything we needed and felt like a real home away from home. Lucy came over right away when there was a slight problem with a radiator and had it fixed immediately. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again 🩷☀️

Gill’s place was incredible! We had 16+ comfortably fit with lots of space in the main areas and loads of activities to do. The place was really clean and organised. We walked down the pub and was a lovely time. Would definitely recommend this place to any of my friends and family xx

The barn is beautiful and very well fitted out. Fabulous setting, absolutely stunning and super peaceful and quiet. The one bathroom was challenging at times with a party of adults but the rest of the barn is faultless and such a joy to stay in. The tennis court and other amenities were fabulous.

I enjoyed my short stay at the barn and had a very comfortable night's sleep. The bed was cosy and the pillows were just right for me. Clear instructions for appliances and everything worked as expected. The barn is set in lovely surroundings, convenient for the road network and getting to Taunton but off the beaten track enough to have peace and quiet.

What a treasure of a place!! So cosy, private, quiet & peaceful and beautiful views too. The barn was well equipped, spotlessly clean and had everything you’d need for your stay. Lisa Marie was a fabulous host and was so very helpful too. So many great walks in the area for ourselves and our dog and great places to eat too!! We can’t wait to go back!!

A wonderful place for our short stay in the Cotswolds. Cot and high chair were provided as we'd requested. There were also some good kids toys and books available to use. The space was kitted out really well with lots useful kitchen utensils, tea, coffee and fresh eggs all provided.

This place was amazing. The hosts were super friendly and very accommodating leaving you wanting for nothing, along with little touches to the property like refilling the firewood whilst we were out on a walk in the lakes, to things like a fresh loaf of bread with a choice of jam or butter in the fridge when we arrived. The photos of the place are beautiful, and although they don’t do it justice for what you get, I can honestly say that you practically have a full, well maintained, clean, cosy and comfortable house/ barn to live in for your stay. It was the perfect weekend for us all in all and we can’t thank Pat and Neil enough. I was particularly impressed with when we departed, Pat and Neil were asking for feedback and opinions showcasing their ongoing thoughts of continuous improvement for all their future guests. It’s hard to top what they’re already doing, as they’ll continue to strive for that which was clear. You can’t go wrong staying here and I’d definitely recommend.

We had such a fantastic stay! The barn was absolutely beautiful — even better than we expected — and the hosts were truly lovely and incredibly accommodating. The location was perfect, just a short drive to Alton Towers, which made everything so easy for us. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and were super responsive to anything we needed. We honestly couldn’t fault a thing and would 100% love to come back again! Beautiful house. Lovely location. For myself the track up to the property only being wide enough for one car with only a few passing places and a steep drop one side. Would mean I wouldn’t return. For the high quality refurbishment of the barn. It was lacking furniture in the bedrooms. A clothes rail with a hanging thing suitable for only shoes, Didn’t really cut it and we all chose to live out suitcases on the floor. No drawers or a chair to put anything. Spoilt it tbf. I would really expect a king size bed in the master bedroom. The en suite no where to hang clothes or towels. Not ideal really. The long shower I personally found a slippy walk with nothing to hold onto. These are all just personal preferences. Can’t fault the house or surroundings. Just missing the high end furnishings in the bedrooms. There is plenty of space for drawers etc. lovely lady dealt with issues we had quickly. Goats are lovely too.

We had a fantastic stay. House was beautifully furnished and more than ready for our arrival (including the lovely lemon drizzle cake). NIC and Chris were very responsive in any questions we had asked proir to arrival and made the effort for a chat at the end of our stay. A wonderful stay.

Amazing view from the house. Rooms were spacious, especially kitchen area. Great location for families 5 or more people. Quick drive to the A30 (if you can fit through the bridge). Hot tub, with scones and Prosecco was an added bonus! Had a few minor issues, which Jeremy helped to rectify where he could. Definitely stay again!

My friend and I stayed for two nights, and it truly couldn’t have been more perfect. The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views right outside the doorstep. The home itself had a warm, cozy vibe, a beautifully homely interior, and a fully equipped kitchen that had everything we needed. Hazel and Mike were incredibly welcoming and helpful—always available to answer any questions, and Hazel even kindly offered us a lift into the local town. I’ll be recommending this gem to everyone I know, and we’re already planning our next visit!

Jenny & Lisa both responded really quickly to messages and proactively sent really useful extra info on how to get there so we arrived stress free! Lovely barn conversion in beautiful countryside. Very clean & tidy throughout & as described. Perfect base for us to explore nearby attractions. Excellent local & wider recommendations in the info book with OS Map for walks if needed. We had the most wonderful stay in this beautiful barn conversion. Everything was high spec and it was a cosy yet spacious living space. Lovely kitchen and we were able to cook all our meals. Log burner was gorgeous as were the comfy sofas and chairs (my 8 year old son said the arm chairs were the most comfortable he had ever sat in!). My mother in law loved the high quality pillows and I was really pleased about the lovely hand wash and shower gel. Luxury touches! The surrounding countryside is breathtaking. We walked to the top of the hill opposite for panoramic mountain views. Had lovely afternoons out in Brecon and Hay on Wye. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Second time we’ve stayed with a big group - so much space indoors and outdoors. All of the rooms are spacious. The communal areas are lovely, clean with plenty of cooking equipment / crockery for big groups.

Great place for a small group. We were four of us and were quite comfortable for the short stay we planned. Judy was a great host and the instructions she gave were spot on!

Brilliant venue with lots to do for the children. Rooms were all good sizes, the kitchen was really well stocked and the games room and hot tub were perfect for the kids. A great find!

Great house for a family Holiday! The view was stunning! We loved the living areas in particular. Large and plenty of comfortable seating. Everything was very well equipped and we wanted for nothing! Wonderful pub within a 5 min walk away. Great find and we all loved it. Thank you!
