Vacation rentals with breakfast in Essex

Justin and Muriel are great host. They contacted us before our trip to make sure they can prepare any additional things we need. They gave us very clear instructions on how to access the house, the equipment in the house and responded to our messages almost immediately. We loved that they had a stocked fridge and pantry and allowed us to use it. The welcome flowers and chocolates were a nice gesture. The house itself is located very close to the underground and right in front of a swan pond giving us breathtaking views. The house was a very spacious for the 5 of us, and had enough equipments, towels, linen for all of us. The AC in the living room provided some respite in the hot summer in London, but I would advise for more fans in the rooms please. Thank you for the great stay.

Lovely cosy cottage, comfy bed. Rosemary was very helpful, catering to my gluten free diet and helping with any queries and flexible timing. Would happily stay here if I’m in the area again and recommend to others.

The host was very nice, we had a great time! There’s a fried chicken place nearby that’s cheap and good too. Everything is well prepared and is very clean when we checked in. The location is walkable to both the train station and bus station.

We had a lovely few days at this great house with lots of space for the family. It is perfectly located near public transport and getting into London and walking into the local town. A fantastic stay!

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful character property. Alison and her partner were very friendly and helpful with local recommendations for where to eat, walking trails, etc. They had even provided breakfast supplies - bread, yummy marmalade (I think it was home made!), juice, milk, tea coffee, and even hot cross buns as it was Easter, which was a nice surprise! The property is very centrally located in town center, a couple of minutes walk to the train station and a number of pubs, bars, coffee shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay there again.

Really friendly and welcoming couple, very nice room with all amenities. Hard to fault, will definitely stay in my list of good places to stay in.

The room was perfect, and exactly what we were after! Stayed for one night as we had a wedding at Stock Brook Manor. Isabel was very friendly and super helpful - highly recommend.

Melissa’s place was amazing, so clean! Great location, only 10min walk to the Elizabeth line and plenty of stores around. Favorite spot was the coffee shop at the end of the street, Mazing Bistro Cafe, delicious coffee and super friendly staff. We will be back to Melissa’s next year!

Great place, easy access, clean and comfortable

We stayed at Stuart's apartment for a weekend and were very happy with our stay. The apartment was clean, tidy, spacious and functional located a very short walk from the town centre with pubs, bars and restaurants all nearby. Would recommend to anyone looking to visit Ipswich or just for time away to relax.

Really enjoyed my stay , both Rachel and Marilyn very helpful and responsive to messages. It was an ideal location personally for me visiting relatives . Very comfortable bed. Lovely to have some provisions for breakfast especially the homemade marmalade . It was good to meet Marilyn the owner who made me feel very welcome.

Bertie and staff were great. We had a fantastic time and the full breakfast was amazing. We enjoyed a pint in the bar attached to the apartment and the atmosphere was right up our alley. If we're ever back in Southend on Sea we be contacting Bertie first.

Perfect stay! Gocke's place is perfect in every way: - welcoming - cozy - practical Gocke welcomed us with his children to explain everything to us and even give us advice on the neighborhood. We loved Highams Park ❤️ The apartment is located 100 m from the overground, opposite a large supermarket. the neighborhood is quiet but lively: we tested 2 Turkish restaurants, an Indian and a traditional pub: excellent! Access to London is very easy. We were delighted to come home in the evening to peace and quiet after big days in town and find this nice little neighborhood! Thanks Gocke! Lesley's home was very conveniently located near where our business meetings are as well as all the shops and restaurants that we needed on the 5 days we spent in Chelmsford. Her home is pristine and the room where we stayed is very restful. Lesley is a brilliant host, getting out of her way to provide us with one of the best service we've had in an AirBNB stay and we have been in quite a few. Great place to stay with quick access to the tube/trains. Close to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Jane is super friendly and a great host.

Nasreen was extraordinarily welcoming. She gave me my choice of room and in the morning offered coffee and my choice of toast, fruit, cereal, and porridge for breakfast, joining me in a very pleasant conversation at the kitchen table. Her comfortable home is also conveniently located -- about a 6-minute walk from a stop for the bus to Audley End rail station and just over 15 minutes’ walk to picturesque Market Square. There is also a nearby Tesco where one can get microwaveable meals. Check-out was easy. Highly recommended for a relaxing and economical stay!

Exceptional hosts, wonderful, cozy, clean, and peaceful place, great countryside walks on your doorstep and restaurants and shops in walking distance. Accommodation was spacious and we had everything we could think of, even though the shower room is quite small, it serves its purpose well. Elaine couldn’t do more for us and we really enjoyed our stay with her and Teg. The breakfast really is out of this world and the attention to detail in everything Elaine does is something to be experienced. Hopefully will come back! Many thanks for everything Elaine and Teg.

We loved our overnight in this peaceful village before our flight from Stansted home to the US. Verna wisely encouraged us to make reservations at the local pub, Fleur de Lys, for dinner which was the perfect way to end our English holiday with authentic fish and chips and friendly pub atmosphere where everyone seemed to know each other. We would gladly stay again, although it may be another decade before we get another trip without our kiddos! Thanks for having us!
