Great location, place exactly as listed. VERY clean when we arrived. Ice in the driveway/walkway was a bit of an issue. Tom was very responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

Meachele is a wonderful hostess and her place is cozy comfortable clean and exactly right for our family. We come up to Lake Placid for a hockey tournament and can’t imagine staying anywhere else. The place and her hospitality are more than you can ask for and we are so grateful that she opens her Airbnb to us.

The location is perfect with easy access to the Ausable river with brown trout fishing within 100 yards. Meg was friendly and responsive and made sure everything was smooth. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful Adirondack getaway!

This lakeside gem was the setting for one of the most restful and beautiful stays we’ve ever had with Airbnb. I loved sitting every morning on their porch to take in the first bit of morning light, and every suggestion made by our host was better than the last. I’ve visited Vermont several times, but I was blown away by all of the hidden treasure suggested by our host - everything from thrift shops to the best cafes. My two kids had a blast here as well. I would highly recommend for couples, families, or friend groups looking to have fun together.

We had a great time over a holiday weekend! The house was close to a few places to get necessities and a few places to eat. It was within a half hour to a few ski areas also, which was the main plan of our trip. The house was beautiful and clean. Thr sauna and hot tub were great features of the home. We got a good amount of snow while there and Julian was quick to keep us updated on having the driveway plowed. The area is beautiful wotha lake view. The house had plenty of space and bathrooms for our two families. Everything was clean and in goof shape when we arrived.

Sonja is amazing to deal with. Very proactive and accessible. The house was in great shape. Her bathrooms were great - up to date, great hot water/pressure. She leaves clear directions and sets up the home to look like an inn (waters and flowers in the bedrooms). Perfect location to walk to town and only 15 mins from Whiteface. Very enjoyable and relaxing weekend.

18 Lake vacation house is a true gem with a breathtakingly beautiful view that inspires the soul! Its million-dollar view from the balcony is awe-inspiring from sunrise to sunset, and even on cloudy days. The house is immaculately clean and well-organized, spacious enough to comfortably accommodate our family of six. Everything we needed during our stay was thoughtfully provided. The convenience of having access to the washing machine and dryer was a wonderful bonus. The neighborhood is a serene oasis, peaceful and quiet, with friendly neighbors who made us feel welcome. The hosts respond promptly to our texts and went above and beyond by notifying us when my husband forgot his jacket and offering to ship it to us. We fell deeply in love with this enchanting place and are already looking forward to returning in the summer! Beautiful and very spacious place across the street from Mirror Lake and within walking distance to town. Easy drive to all the activities Lake Placid has to offer. Additional downstairs living room is a great set up for kids.

If you are looking to shut away the world for a few days and live in a beautiful cabin by the lake, this is the spot! We had a fantastic stay right in the lap of nature and had the most incredible view of the lake and a private dock overlooking it!

Wonderful 5 days at Gristmill Springs! When the weather was good for hiking, there were many great options nearby. When the weather was only so-so, the fireplace, well-equipped kitchen, strong WiFi, and comfortable reading chairs provided all I needed. This is a gem of a place and I’m glad to have found it.

Our friend group was looking for a place to stay close to the whiteface mountain and we got super lucky to find Jo’s house! Beautiful house, stylish & super cozy - we felt like at home right away! All this in addition to beautiful surroundings made our trip an unforgettable experience! Each bedroom had a private bathroom and a common bathroom on the first floor which was amazing for a group of 6 people. Showers deserve an additional mention - it was definitely a calming and relaxing experience! Jo is an amazing host. Communication was great, we were given a lot of recommendations about local “must-visit” places. The host is super responsive, kind and understanding! Overall, it was an unforgettable experience at Jo’s place and hopefully we can go there again in the future! we highly recommend it!!

We had a great stay here. The check in and out times were flexible which really maximized the time we had on our vacation. The location couldn’t have been better, town is just a few minute walk away! The amenities were also great, my family and I enjoyed taking out the kayaks. Overall great rental and could recommend.
