A vacation for the soul on an East Frisian farm

We live on a farm in a quiet secluded location in the middle of East Frisia with our cattle, horses, chickens, dogs and cats. Shopping and restaurants are 2 km away. And plenty of bike paths to worthwhile destinations - swimming lakes, open-air museums, climbing park.... We'll be happy to give you tips. For our guests there are two bedrooms to choose from - a single bed and a queen size bed. We are non-smokers and ask our guests to refrain from smoking inside the house.

Welcome to the North Sea! Our fantastic house is located in a quiet residential area and is only 7 minutes by car from the sea. In just a 3-minute walk, there is a bus stop with direct connection to the lively stormy coast, as well as to the city center. You can also easily walk to a supermarket (Netto). You can also be in the middle of the city in about 5 minutes by bike to the middle of the city center. The apartment is newly renovated and lovingly furnished.

From Heimathafen, you can easily reach the beach and the harbor of Dornumersiel or the "Dornumersieler Tief" in just 20 minutes on foot, where you can example, you can ride a pedal boat. The apartment is also the perfect starting point for cycling tours.

Attractions such as our brewery and our castle, shopping, restaurants and pubs are within walking distance. The North Sea coast is about 12 km. The location is perfect to explore Friesland /East Frisia/islands.

The apartment (big sister of Studio ton Barkenboom) is quietly located in a 30 km/h zone, yet in the heart of the beautiful "bear town" of Esens on the North Sea coast. The city center, shopping, doctors and pharmacies as well as restaurants are within walking distance and the beautiful beach in Bensersiel is also a few minutes away by car.

High ceilings, thick beams, large wooden lattice windows with great views of the East Frisian expanse and modern furnishings with a lot of love for detail make this apartment a place to feel good.
