Bivouac the blue sky

KlausRating, 5 stars129 months ago
Beside the beautiful scenery Bivouac offers some berber tents which are simple as we expect. But what we found were also clean toilet and clean hot shower. A genuine place and a great host. Moha was considerate and friendly and we felt always comfortable.
A welcoming setting is seen in the desert, featuring traditional Moroccan tents in the background. A table with tea is being prepared, while individuals in colorful attire sit on patterned textiles. The expansive sandy dunes create a serene backdrop under a cloudy sky.

Haimas / Bivouac Luxury desert Camp in Erg Chebbi

SusyRating, 5 stars86 months ago
If you are looking for a place where to relax and be comfortable meanwhile exploring the desert, this is the place that you are looking for. The tends are very clean and quite. The host extremely lovely and polite (which is quite rare in Marocco). We had a welcome mint tea with some very nice biscuits from the local market made by hands. We wish only we could spend more time with them. Well done guys, carry on like this!!!

Camp Tent Family Friends/Camel Trekking Sunset...

MihailRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We spent 2 nights at Mohammed's camp. 2 adults + 4 children (4 and 5). Just a lovely experience to camp in the desert, even in end of December. Mohammed made sure to help us out with everything for an unforgettable experience. Camp is all you need to properly disconnect. We were arranged with many different activities around. We had half-board and camel transport to and from the camp included. Food was incredible. Probably the best we had in Morocco. Mohammed and his crew were incredibly kind. Amazing hospitality. Great people who try everything to make your stay really special. Highly recommend!

Ali & Sara's Desert Palace

LisaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Sarah helped us with all arrangements getting from Marrakech to her place. The driver she arranged was professional and knowledgeable. Mohammed welcomed us at the camp and was helpful and always available for our next adventure! While all the adventures in the desert were amazing, reading and enjoying the quiet were fantastic. Thank you for all your help Sarah!

Hassan is a very good host. We bought the wrong ticket on the way here, and it took us a day to arrive. Hassan delayed my room by a day. At night, it was very hot in the village. Hassan also helped us prepare a mattress on the rooftop. Then we can sleep on the rooftop highly recommended

Merzouga Camp

FedericoRating, 5 stars78 months ago
Amazing experience after almost two hours of dromedary you reach the tent village, where there is running water, hot showers, electricity is everything you need, typical dinner in a tent, accommodation in another tent with 3 beds, in the evening typical music played with drums from Berbers around the fire and then a star above us to take your breath away. The tent in winter is very cold at night, at the limit of the support Apart from this experience absolutely to be done, they also lend snowboarding for the dunes!!

Overnight Berber Tent with Dinner & Camel Ride

ManieRating, 5 stars37 months ago
The desert experience with Mhamed was amazing from beginning to end. We were greeted with a delicious tea, took a beautiful walk in the dunes at sunset. We took a dromadaire ride to our Berber tent (thank you again for the surprise on arrival Mhamed, really a thousand thanks!). The tent was sumptuous, Mhamed told us beautiful stories, we saw the tea and ate with the tourists who were there, it was friendly and a real moment of sharing. The food for the evening meal and breakfast was excellent. We made Berber music with Mhamed and a Berber friend in the evening after the meal! The sunrise over the dunes the next morning was breathtaking. Mhamed even let us use the camp sandboards before leaving. I recommend 100% to anyone who wants to have a unique experience in the desert, we still have stars in our eyes. Thank you Mhamed thank you!!!!

Camel ride one night in desert

DavidRating, 5 stars24 months ago
Highly recommend this overnight trip into the desert!!! Amazing experience, so much better than what we heard about some of the more commercial overnight stays!! Mohamed our guide was fantastic- from the camel ride to the small camp and back, through tea and lovely dinner, explaining the animals etc! Absolutely magnificent!! Returning back the next morning to Youssef’s place was also great with showers and a fantastic breakfast! One thing that might help you which wasn’t that clear from the air bnb notes is finding it. It’s right in the centre on the main square and it’s called Auberge Kasbah des Dunes. The map link gets you to general area, then this name will do the rest. Thanks Youssef and Mohamed!

Bivouac la fibula des Dunes

El MehdiRating, 5 stars9 months ago
An Unforgettable Desert Experience in Merzouga" My stay at the bivouac was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a sense of adventure. Nestled among the golden dunes of the Sahara, the camp offered a perfect blend of authenticity and comfort. The tents were well-equipped, cozy, and beautifully decorated, providing the right amount of privacy while still allowing us to feel connected to the vast desert surroundings. Watching the sunset over the dunes was a breathtaking experience that I will never forget. The traditional Moroccan dinner we enjoyed under the stars was delicious, with an impressive variety of flavors. The hosts made sure we were well taken care of and shared stories about Berber culture and life in the desert, which added a personal touch to the whole experience. I highly recommend taking the camel ride at sunrise, silence, stars and the endless dunes made it as an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend

Merzouga Activities Camp Standard Double Tent

AngelikaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We arrived in Merzuog very early in the morning, the host picked us up from the town and took us to the camp. There was a prepared tent, a delicious breakfast, and a beautiful sunrise on the dunes. The camp is located in a place that allows you to get there by your own car. The neighborhood is quiet, you can take advantage of camel rides, ATVs, and walk endlessly. At night, in addition to the lit-up starry sky, a bonfire with local music on the drums will be waiting for you. Bathrooms are clean. Great dinners, traditional dishes are much better than the Moroccan restaurants we've been to so far. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sunshine dessert tents

CelineRating, 5 stars19 months ago
We chose activities at the same time as the place. Very nice stay. Arriving in Merzouga Mohamed ( the driver/guide) picked us up to take us to the camp in the desert by jeep. The tents are great. There is a sanitary unit with toilet and shower. Electricity in tents. Meals are good. Mohamed ( the waiter) is really super nice, he doesn't have a lot of language in French, but we had a good laugh with him, always ready to help or chat. Then we did a Berber farmers tour not far from the camp. It's pretty special to “visit” people's misery. Then visit the Malian Musicians. At the camp we also enjoyed a Berber music evening, it was very nice. Thanks to all the Mohamed:)

Sahara Wellness Camp

VincentRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Staying with Omar and Hassan was a good decision there’s a lot of camp around more than 200 and quality can differ, the camping has a nice setting, some Hamacs to chill or even table with chairs. Everything was clean and service very professional, I recommend, just take in note that you need to pay additional money for camel ride and food. On the food the quality was nice and quantity was enough to eat fully. Breakfast was also good
