Hamid’s place in Merzouga is a gem! It’s got that traditional, slightly basic vibe, but it’s super chill, cozy, and thoughtfully designed—everything you need is there. The neighborhood feels incredibly safe, and the neighbors and locals are some of the friendliest people I’ve met. Hamid and his brother went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. A 100% positive experience—couldn’t recommend it more!

The host was extremely helpful and friendly. The 3 apartments were very clean and had everything you could wish for in a rental apartment. It is located in a beautiful location with wonderful views from the balconies. Quiet and peaceful. Located right above a restaurant and cafe that served great food and coffee for good prices. I would love to stay again in the future. Thank you so much!!!

The apartment was very comfortable. We were able to cook and rest very well on the night we were. It was cold in the desert but the room had good heating and lots of blankets. Walkable to shops and restaurants very easy to walk. Said was extremely friendly, he came to pick us up to the other hotel where we were and also took us after check-out to take a tour a few miles from the place. Highly recommended.

We had a great time at Said's place. He was very helpful and made himself available. He couldn't find us an example of a driver to take us to our next destination. The place is beautiful and is well worth the price it is offered at. The only difficulty we encountered was the response time from the host before we arrived, which was quite long. Otherwise we loved our stay and have nothing to reproach.

Great welcome, the whole family was very attentive, the meal and breakfast were very generous, in addition they adapted by making a separate non-spicy dish for my wife. We recommend Assan's place 100/100. Thanks Assan

Have an unforgettable experience

Merzouga apartments were great. They were spotlessly clean and right opposite the dunes where we went for a walk at sunset and in the morning. The Wi-Fi wasn’t initially working but the host went out of his way to get it fixed. If like us you aren’t looking to stay out in the desert at one of the camps then it will be hard to find a value better apartment and which is still right next to the large dunes. Thankyou.
