The Alternative Space was established during colonial times, as the first and only alternative art gallery, in which anti-colonial and anti-apartheid artist could exhibit fine art and photography

A self help, self to make breakfast is available for the guests. Our place is not posh, not in the city centre not on the beach front but has atmosphere.

A free standing bath is in the room. There is no kitchen at the premises but you are welcome to use the kitchen in our B & B which is just next door.
