Lake house vacation rentals in Ernst

Josef and Dorothee were absolutely lovely and friendly. We loved the history of the house, which was explained to us when we first arrived. It had everything we needed and more, including the kitchen when we wanted to cook. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. We would definately stay again!

I stayed for one night. Easy check in. It’s a little far from the city centre. It’s definitely walkable but if you don’t like walking or you can’t walk far it might be to far. :)

This place was incredible. The mix of the old and new was just breathtaking, and the location was simply charming. The property has been renovated to a high standard and we loved its old charms. The instructions and self check in were clear and easy to follow. The location was amazing. We will be back to explore this area more. The cupboards were well stocked as well as the cleaning supplies. Everything you could need and more.

It is a small cozy village cottage, without a garden, in a very quiet street. The house you consists of a number of small rooms that are connected to each other via a small staircase. We slept there for 2 nights with 2 adults and 3 children and that was fine. We enjoyed the tranquility, the baker around the corner and the hibiscus tea that was ready for us. We parked the car in a street just behind the house.

Our stay was fantastic! The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, and the property was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described.

What a lovely and relaxing place. Wonderful for bike rides or walks in the surrounding area! You will hear the green woodpecker "laugh" from the forest :)

Very beautiful and complete house with plenty of space and equipped with every comfort. Beautiful area with nice hiking opportunities. Neighborhood shop next to the door. Host is super friendly, welcoming and adequate. Outdoor area well enclosed for the dogs. We were just sorry that there is no view of the area from the house. But otherwise the house and the host are definitely worth repeating!

We spent a week, over New Year's Eve, in the roller shed, with the goal of escaping fireworks sounds. That worked out very well. It was very quiet and since the roller cottage is not directly on the beautiful Birkenhof, it is also very private. Nevertheless, it was not far to the common areas, where you could also get in touch with other residents, all of whom were pleasant and nice. The place was to keep warm even in winter. Gisela has added another heater, which made it possible to heat according to individual needs. The heaters have mostly run at a low level because the heat has been well maintained. In general, Gisela was always open to nice conversations and questions. We had a great time and can recommend the roller cottage with a clear conscience and want to come back ourselves.

We meet with anotyher family once a year and this time, by far, we have had the best experience comparing with other years. The house was confortable, really clean and in a beatiful location. The kids had so much fun with playing pin pon and with with other games you can find in the house. You can also enjoy the area, perfect for hicking. We´ve had the best of times and I recommend it.

We had a wonderful week in this lovely vacation home! All was perfect and very well maintained. We were particularly impressed by the sauna in the historic vaulted cellar – a real highlight. The lovingly designed courtyard also invites you to relax. Clear recommendation!

It was great from start to finish. We were very spontaneous; yet everything worked out smoothly and we were able to enjoy our short break very much. We got what the photos promised. Nothing broken, everything works, tasteful and cozy. We plan to book again!

We arrived in winter (2°), and the house was cosy and warm already (20°), which was such a treat !!! The house is much more than we expected , so cosy , so big, absolutely the best provided for long stay we have been in (+60 Airbnb history). Great privacy. Close to fantastic forest walks and bike rides. A Lidl / Aldi at 5 min drive, bakery and butcher in the village at 2 min walk . Very comfortable beds and amazing hot shower. We loved it and will be back.

Second time here. Everything was good as always ! Best kitchen with very well equipped.

We were already guests two years ago and will also be happy to come back. The apartment is well equipped, the landlords incredibly nice and accommodating and the location is beautiful. The Birkenhof distillery is just a stone's throw away and the view from the window in the morning is truly breathtaking. We spent a wonderful girls weekend in Alpenrod and felt completely comfortable. Thank you for the great time!

What a nice house, everything provided and a lovely spacious place with enough bedrooms for all of us. Beautiful surroundings even when the weather is unstoppable. But had a great time!
