Old bakery - mill house

Near the village of Bescheid, in the valley of the small Dhron, lies the historic mill estate "Alte Bäckerei". Our cozy apartments, Backhaus (10 people), Mehlstube (2 people) and Mühlenhaus (9 people) as well as our large communal outdoor area invite you to relax. Our private natural swimming lake is exclusively at our guests disposal. The Alte Bäckerei is the ideal starting point for hikes, bike rides, trips to the Moselle, visits to the cities of Trier, Luxembourg, and much more.

Renovated in 2021 and equipped for 6-10 people on three floors with a small wellness area and lockable parking space for your bicycles.

Old bakery

The old bakery is located on the "Alten Marktplatz" in the old town of St. Goarshausen at the foot of Katz Castle in the immediate vicinity of the world-famous Loreley. In the house, approx. 17th century, a bakery was built, later a local history museum. It can accommodate two to six guests. Two more guests are possible on request. The train station, ferry, pier and the shuttle bus to the Loreley are within walking distance. Ideal starting point to explore the Loreley Valley.

Unser uriges Gästehaus Mühlstein ist die umgebaute Scheune der alten Wassermühle aus dem Jahr 1685! Hier ist der Name Programm – genießt gesellige Abende am alten Mühlstein-Tisch, im Holzofen prasselt dazu das Feuer. Im Sommer streckt ihr die Nase im überdachten Freisitz, neu-deutsch: Chillout-Lounge, in die untergehende Sonne. Badeteich, Sauna, Grillstelle, Lagerfeuer, Sternenhimmel und Vogelgezwitscher im Mühlental – alles vorhanden, zum Ankommen und Wohlfühlen².

Wir bieten unseren Gästen eine moderne Moselidylle mit direktem Moselblick und Blick auf den Calmont sowie eine große Außenterrasse. Die 100 qm große Ferienunterkunft ist ein 400 Jahre altes renoviertes Haus und ist umgeben von den Rebhängen des Calmont Klettersteiges. Insbesondere die 18m² große Terrasse direkt an der Mosel lädt nach einem aktiven Tag zum Verweilen und Erholen ein. Alternativ kann man sich auch gemütlich mit einem Glas Wein vor den Kaminofen setzen
