Best kept secret in Sintra! This was my fourth trip to Sintra and Carlos and Madalena’s place was beyond magical! Beautiful, serene location, peaceful and quiet, perfectly comfortable in every way! I worked remotely while there and the internet was super fast and the apartment perfectly equipped with everything one could need - including a Nespresso machine! (I wasn’t sure so I brought a portable one from home!) Carlos and Madalena were wonderful hosts, and I look forward to returning again soon! There is not a better, more beautiful, nor more ideally suited location in all Sintra! Thanks for an exceptional stay! Super easy walk down to the historic center. Evening cocktails next door at Palacio Seteais was a wonderful treat. Grocery and food delivery via Uber Eats was super easy, and many great restaurants and attractions within walking distance! 12 days was not enough! PS - for anyone visiting Sintra - Pastelaria Gregorio’s Broas de Mel (Honey Cookies) are NOT to be missed!!!

I very much loved staying at this location, beautifull place with amazing view of the lovely garden and the trees and very cosy flat with everything I needed , the host was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend it

It's a really nice and charming place very close to the center but still peaceful.

The place was very quiet, with a nice garden area. We didn’t even feel that the owner’s family was living upstairs, since we didn’t hear any noise at all. We had all the amenities needed, and slept very well in comfy beds. The fact that we were allowed to use the parking inside the house was very handy. The communication with Angelina was very easy and she responded promptly to our questions. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a nice quiet neighborhood, with easy access to Lisbon and Cascais/Sintra areas.

The villa is absolutely beautiful - the photos look great but do not do justice to how spectacular the setting is! It is a beautiful and peaceful spot and very comfortable accommodations. In particular the pool is perfect - a great size and set in a lovely spot with a great view in which to sun yourself post swim. Margarida and Abel were very warm and welcoming, helping us to feel immediately at home and providing great recommendations for shopping, activities and restaurants. Thank you so much for- we loved our stay!

Staying in Ani's beautiful guesthouse was an absolute delight. Not only was the surrounding area picturesque, Ani made us feel right at home with her welcoming fruits and veggies. The location is a little drive away from Lisbon, but the surrounding area and towns are worth exploring and offer more than enough. I would say the pool was our favourite part, but the lovely cats that came to visit us from time to time stole the show. All and all a lovely time, we will be back if we're ever in the area again.

I had a great time in Sintra. The place was just perfect, located on a quiet and pleasant street. The apartment was clean, comfortable and fully compliant with the listing. The host was exceptional: very welcoming, available and very kind. She even sent me great recommendations to discover the region. Check-in was very flexible, making my trip much easier. Great stay at Bernardo and Patricia's. From our arrival to our departure, reliable, warm communication that met all our needs. Their apartment is comfortable, well arranged and spacious. The plus for the touches and small gifts during our stay. Very nice meeting for a good stay in Portugal 30 minutes from Lisbon and plenty of other places to visit. Having a car on site is a plus. We had a lovely stay for 11 days, host family was so lovely and warm, the place itself was comfortable, clean and practical. It also felt very safe and private. Would 100% recommend and will visit again if we get the chance!

The apartment is located in a very quiet village, with a food store and a cafe. A 5-minute drive away, and a 15-minute walk away, there are several beaches and a wide range of restaurants. It shares a garden plot, orchard, parking, and clothesline area with three other accommodations, but with enough distance to have privacy. In the common areas there is a beautiful and sunny garden with terrace furniture where you can sunbathe, have breakfast, read, etc. The house is newly built with quality materials and is tastefully furnished with good furniture. In relation to cleanliness, it is impeccable. We have stayed here again this year, as it offers us everything we need. This area of Portugal is a gem, offering many things to see and do, and has a proportionate, family-friendly, and quiet tourism. Eugenia and Julia were attentive and quick to respond to any need. It was a pleasure. We'll be back.

We really enjoyed last weekend at Miguel's house. The area is very beautiful with many points of interest nearby (natural beaches and trails). The house is comfortable and has a very pleasant yard where the sun shines in the morning. Please note that the property is a country house, in the countryside and as such it is normal to find some 8-legged friends in the space :) Finally, Miguel was an excellent host, with flexible check-in and always available.

Sarah & Jeremy were lovely hosts very friendly & helpful with information on the local area. Their pool was wonderful to cool off & their apartment was perfect for all our needs.

The place is beautiful and peaceful, equipped with everything that is needed for a short-term stay. We really appreciated the privacy and calmness. Jose was very helpful at check-in and check-out, we had an absolutely lovely stay 😊 cannot wait to come back here with our puppy, so that he can also benefit from this lovely space.

I had a wonderful stay! The accommodation was spotlessly clean, stylishly furnished (especially the art is just stunning) and exactly as shown in the photos. The location was perfect – quiet and perfect for me to work and yet still central, near the coast and lisbon was perfectly to reach as well as by car or by bus. I especially want to highlight the hospitality – Joanna was super friendly, helpful, and always available if I had any questions. She offered me some food because i came on a day an electric shutdown day, where it was more than chaotoic in the city, she gave me extra towls when my friends came over and she fixed problems immediately. I felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime. Highly recommended!

The apartment is true to the description. The best thing is the pool and the space around it that is shared with other tenants, but we rarely saw them. Inside we only missed that the TV was only in French (although you can access apps like Netflix) and an oven, but both things did not seem essential to us. Didier was very friendly and hospitable. Too bad we couldn't talk much because we don't speak the same languages. We had a small problem in the apartment due to a lack of understanding, but as soon as we understood each other, he solved it quickly. The house is close to Foz do Arelho (within walking distance) and the beach. Foz is small, quiet and pleasant with a few restaurants and shops. A 15-minute drive away you have Caldas da Rainha with all the amenities (hypermarkets, restaurants...). In short: an apartment without great luxuries but with the essentials, with a spectacular outdoor space and close to the beach. Very nice hosts.

Well equipped apartment in a fantastic and calm location. Crissy and David are lovely hosts and we had a great stay with our little baby. Communication was excellent and it was even possible to do our laundry. Highly recommend!
