Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Entlebuch District

We had a fantastic stay in the chalet. The chalet itself is beautiful and clearly built and furnished with a great deal of skill and care. It’s located on a beautiful hillside with views of the surrounding mountains and surrounded by green pastures. Our closest neighbors were the local cows. The location works best with a car and is within easy driving distance to hikes and sites in the Interlaken region. It’s possible to get there by public transport through a bus from Brienz but it didn’t seem to be very frequent (about once an hour). We were there in September which was a good time to visit. The chalet is heated by wood fire and was a bit cold the first night (we arrived late and the fire wasn’t on for long before we went to bed) but very comfortable the rest of the stay - there was plenty of wood and it kept the heat in well). The weather outside was great for hikes and exploring. It was clearly off-season and some restaurants were closed (eg in Axalp) so good to plan ahead.

We only stayed one night, but this greenhouse made our honeymoon absolutely glorious. From the moment we arrived, we spent the first hour just taking photos, soaking it all in, and making video calls to share it with family and friends. It’s that special. Emmanuel was an incredible host, kind, thoughtful, and generous. He invited us to enjoy any of the fruits and vegetables growing in the greenhouse, which made our meal so much better. The mix of rustic charm and modern comfort felt like the quintessential Swiss experience. We used the provided wood to stay warm, cook our steak, and heat up the hot tub, which was incredible under the stars. This is a place that’s perfect for any age, any celebration, or even just a night of peace. We’re already dreaming of coming back and this time, bringing friends. Can’t recommend it enough.

Really enjoyed our stay at the property. Such a lovely villa in a beautiful location. Easy to get to by public transport or a walk around the lake. Giuseppe was a great host, always responsive to our queries and also sorted out our Lucerne cards before our arrival which gave us free transport and discounts in the area. Would definitely recommend and hopefully we can return in the future.

Absolutely perfect house, beautiful interiors and insanely spotless like I’ve never seen before, it’s practically a showroom from the pages of a magazine! There is a great clear view down to the lake but it’s very close to the neighbours on three sides which I didn’t realize, the garden is practically shared and we were a bit unlucky on our first night the teenagers next door spent the evening having a smoking and drinking (and swearing!) session which put an end to our relaxing evening! But this absolutely beyond the control of the host who was AMAZING. The pool was mildly heated so swimmable in cold weather and would be perfect in summer.

the scenery is outstanding. truly what we expect. i recomend Theres place to anyone who prefer enjoy and feel like the local. The house is very accomodating especially the kitchen very very complete. we felt very homey and love the place but the place only accessible by car i think. if you walk/using public transport this place will be quite a walk.

Noé is a wonderful host - very responsive and so thoughtful with their space & amenities. Their home was a perfect getaway, extremely relaxing and easy to settle in. The views and surrounding areas are stunning. Highly, highly recommend!

They were really nice. The place is fabulous However if you are with luggage then you have to walk 500mts uphill. The view from apartment is amazing. Groceries are also not nearby and if you are visiting on bank holiday take everything from center.

One of the best Airbnb stays in a long time – the two of us were there for a week. Spacious place, very chic and stylishly furnished, and of course the hot tub on the very large roof terrace is a highlight - or just spend the evening in front of the cozy fireplace. In direct walking distance, everything is available (shops, restaurants, etc.) Overall highly recommended!

The house is very warm and clean, with an excellent location. The landlord is very patient and responds promptly.

This was our fourth time staying at Hilde’s and it was as perfect as always! Clean, convenient and most of all - with beautiful views. Hope we are able to use the new rooftop the next time we are there in warmer weather!

We were perfectly. The apartment is much larger than what you see in the advertisement. The garden is ideal for vermouth and eating watching snow-capped mountains. Very nicely decorated for Easter with its bunnies and eggs. Very close to places like Blausee, Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen and the villages around Interlaken. We have been 10 days and the owners had very good details with us. We will for sure be back.

The house was exceptionally clean, peaceful, and even more stunning than the photos suggested. Your home offered us the perfect environment to relax and enjoy every moment. It felt like a true home away from home, and we could not have asked for a better place to stay. We genuinely appreciated the quietness, the cozy atmosphere, and the incredible attention to detail that you put into maintaining the space. Every corner of the house reflected care, warmth, and a true sense of hospitality.

The place was even more beautiful than shown in pictures. There’s access to the balcony from every room. There’s a bus that takes you to the center of town and the train station but its only a 15 minute walk if you’re okay with walking uphill for a bit. There’s quite a few rules that are not mentioned on the listing (you can only use one of the showers after 10pm, you have to leave the dishes clean/not in dishwasher and strip the linens off the beds but I would say all worth it. Overall, a great accommodation clean and with amazing views.

Ray's has an amazing special hostel and it's truly great to stay here! I stayed for only one night, but when I came in, I was instantly greeted and given a tour of the house which is very luxurious! It was great meeting the other people staying there and the view in the morning is truly amazing! I will definitely come back next time I stay in Switzerland!

An absolute hidden gem with a fantastic view. The lodgings were expertly set up and everything about the stay and the amenities was clearly explained. We are so happy we booked here!

We spent 4 peaceful and happy nights in this apartment with a family group of 12 members. I must say the pictures only tell half the story when it comes to the breathtaking views of the lakes overlooking from the garden. Jacqueline was very prompt and responsive with her precise and detailed communication and was always there when you needed to know something. The apartment was very spacious and felt very cozy and homely. There were plenty of amenities and we topped everything with a nice bbq on our final evening. There are plenty of things to explore both in and out Brienz while just a 10min walk to tge Brienz train station to get you around the place as well as the breathtaking boat trips from the promenade nearby. Highly highly recommend for any families or explorers alike and we will be definitely looking to be returning back!

We had a wonderful and relaxing weekend at Xenia's place and were delighted with the hospitality and atmosphere! Beautiful, very spacious and unique property on the lake, lovingly furnished and well maintained, beautiful room, fantastic views of the lake and mountains, countless places to relax and read, very pleasant guests and many beautiful encounters... A wonderful place, with open people ! Simple equipement, but perfekt and clean. Possibility to change towels really cool ! The triangle bed is written small, but it was perfekt for two people (a big man and a short woman :)) Our host was really amical, nice, open and chill, sometimes a sweet dreamer, but just ask a second time if something is forgotten and there is no problem ;) A really wonderful week-end, thank you for the stay !! :D Stéphane + Jessica

We certainly had our best stay so far, thanks to our host Gerti, a rare kindness and attention. The cottage is spotless, tastefully decorated, and it feels right at home. Nestled in a corner of paradise in the middle of the mountain, we were amazed by the breathtaking view from the terrace... and even more from the hot tub, a real magical moment facing the mountains and the lake, which we will not forget. Everything is thoughtfully designed to make us have a pleasant stay and no detail is left to chance. We also recommend the dining and sauna options that are real assets and have made this stay even better. The meals were delicious and the living room was lovely. An exceptional place that we recommend without a second thought. Once again, thank you for everything, we leave with our hearts filled with beautiful memories!
