Vacation rentals with a balcony in England

Excellent experience my sister and I stayed for 2 weeks. Deptford Bridge DLR is right there and New Cross station just a short 12 minute walk away; from there you can be at London Bridge station in 4-5 minutes 1st stop. So convenient for travel all over London and the UK. Flat is as discribed. Would definitely return. Very responsive hosts.

Great apartment, great area, very walkable. 12/10 recommend

The apartment was easy to find, walkable to Waterloo, Southwark and Borough stations! 20 mins walk away to the Southbank center and 15mins to Borough market. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and cleaning. The only complaints were that the bed was very springy and hard and the pillows were really flat. Plus, the apartment in the living room gets really hot in the summer. Other than that, everything worked and we had a pretty comfortable stay.

Excellent stay, great location if you’re traveling a great deal on the tube and/or leaving on a train from either Euston or St. Pancras. Nearby groceries at Tesco make it easy to pick up a bite on your way in or out. If you arrive before check-in, use a service such as LuggageHero to park your bags nearby while waiting for check-in. Manager is easiest to communicate with if you set up an account on their page. Be prepared for the stairs. If you have heavy luggage and cannot carry your bags very far, or if you have issues with stairs, this is a third floor flat and the stairs are steeper than they may be in your home country. Once you are there, the property is well appointed and a real home away from home at the end of the day. Meticulously clean, modern, and great entertainment options. Sitting on the balcony for breakfast when the weather is good is a real treat. Would totally stay again if given the chance.

Beautiful apartment, great facilities, very clean and tidy. Quiet area, and a perfect stay for a short weekend, beautiful location by the river and great local coffee shop.

Jacqueline was the perfect host responding to questions promptly. She accommodated a relatively late request to move our dates by one day which was much appreciated. The apartment was exactly as described and the photos are a true representation. The apartment is tastefully decorated, clutter free and spotlessly clean. The bed is very comfortable making for a good night’s sleep. The apartment is perfectly located for exploring London with London Bridge being very well connected. An added bonus - a magnificent view of the Shard from the bedroom and lounge. We had a fantastic stay and hope to come back again as our trip was too short and sweet. Our stay at Mark's place was fantastic. The flat is very nicely located, has a supermarket next door, private parking, fantastic views. The flat is well equipped, clean, and very comfortable. We spent one night but we wished we had stayed for longer. I would definitely recommend it if you are going to Margate. Mark was very responsive as well, even being Easter weekend :)

Stunning location with a gorgeous view over the beach. Lovely to have the balcony to sit out and watch the sea. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. Good size bedrooms and very comfortable. Much bigger than looks in the photos. Easy checkin and good, clear instructions and communication from Craig. Definitely would recommend as a lovely place to stay in Falmouth. We went to the spa just next door which was very convenient and a lovely cafe that does really good breakfast just infront of the building. Handy having the coop downstairs too and is a short walk in to town. Thanks again for having us! We will be back!

Joseph is an amazingly responsive and gracious host—he permitted early check in, provided excellent local suggestions and always answered questions quickly and thoroughly. His place is incredible. The location is in a quiet area near the park and a school but only blocks from the buzz of Upper Street with its cafes, shops and restaurants. It is beautifully decorated in a chic but still comfy way—Wood flooring, warm colors, plants, books. It has elegant styling and very cool automated features with automated lights and blinds, etc. that are quite easy to use. Additional shades and shutters allowed us to darken sleeping areas reasonably well. The kitchen appliances are very modern and easy to use. Joseph is quite thoughtful and even left some nespresso pods (yay), dishwasher pods, laundry pods—thank you! The sofa bed was reasonably comfortable and the regular bed and pillows were excellent. Access to the garden is a wonderful perk. Excellent Airbnb—do not hesitate to book!

6 minutes walk to underground station. Peaceful and quiet surroundings with friendly neighbors. Only problem is to open the second front door. There’s two doors at the front, the first door cannot be locked, looks like it’s a wrong key. The second door is hard to open, it takes a huge pressure on the key to turn it open anti clockwise, locking is OK.

We had a great few days at Johan's place - it was perfect for our group of two couples. We used it both a base for getting into central London and as a spot to hunker down and relax. Johan was friendly and responsive - a great host!

Monica’s home is a little slice of paradise in the hustle and bustle of London. Every detail was perfect from her curated art to thoughtfully designed layout. Having a morning coffee and admiring the lush backyard was one of the highlights of my week and I’ll always remember it! The added bonus of your own entrance to the park really was the cherry on top to a perfect stay. If you’re looking for somewhere that wow’s you and a host that makes you feel at home I can’t recommend Monica’s enough. Thanks for having us!

It is better than expected and when we got in it was a pleasant surprise. Stylish and functional. Please mind there are lots of steep stairs to get to both levels.

The space worked very well for us. The communal areas were ideal, the kitchen/diner was a good size and well equipped, the sitting room also. The balcony was great and opening the sliding door helped a lot on the hotter days. The bedrooms were comfortable and both en suite bathrooms were great. The location was the highlight, great views onto the canal and a very short walk into the city. A couple of local shops made things totally convenient. The only things that were less than perfect, but still perfectly manageable, were that the parking was a bit tight, you wouldn't want a large car; the bedroom windows are directly onto a side road up to the canal so keep the blinds closed and be prepared for some noise from passers-by; the place can get very hot on warm days. All in all a great place to stay and I'd recommend it to anybody.

My family of 2 adults, 3 children and a dog(!) had a wonderful stay in Sallys home. We did not want to leave! The house was incredibly comfortable and luxurious. Such a lovely space for a family to relax. A peaceful countryside setting but only a 5 minute drive from the town. Wonderful powerful shower, comfy beds and quality linen throughout. The kitchen was the most thoroughly equipped in any air b&b we have stayed in. We made much use of the lovely garden, BBQ, hot tub and kids toys. Sally was very proactive the instant we booked. We were kindly given an early check in which was greatly appreciated. She even arranged for a stair gate which allowed us to keep our spaniel downstairs. Highly recommended. Thank you for a lovely stay. We would love to return!

Fab stay at Kelly's place, on the first floor (with lift) of a large Georgian building at the top of the square. location is great with easy access to the beach, shops and restaurants. The space is large and airy whilst also feeling cosy. Whilst surrounding area can be noisy, we didn't notice this at night, we did find the shower extractor fan to be loud for around 30 mins after being turned off, (our only point to note) However we would not hesitate to recommend and hope to return.

Perfect location for a stay in Topsham. Great views of the estuary and the Quay and handy for all the good things that make the town so special. Also great for biking on the Exe trail. The flat has all you could want, very comfortable and a lovely balcony to enjoy watching the world go by. We've been before and will be back again

A great location and perfect for a few days of sightseeing

Amazing view over Woolacombe beach - what can be better than watching sunset with a glass of bubbles in a hot tub! The apartment is exactly as advertised, all in perfect order and spotlessly clean. We will definitely return.

Jayme was very responsive and his flat was delightful. Lots of natural light, very warm regardless of the temperature outside. The only issues we had during our 3 week stay is that there was not sufficient space for our stuff . Probably ok for a few days but longer than that for people it was an issue. Thanks Jayme June

Rod was a great host. Always responsive and genuinely concerned about your stay. regularly checking in to see if I required anything and always flexible. The flat is gorgeous and the view from the 10th floor balcony is stunning. East Village is a great neighborhood with plenty of amenities and Westfield on the doorstep. I would definitely stay here again - Rod is probably the best host I have experienced. We have since become friends!

We had such a wonderful stay. Joanne’s place was beautiful, quiet and clean. She was a wonderful host, providing detailed instructions and was quick to respond to any questions we had. We would absolutely stay here again.
