Places to stay in Emporium

We enjoyed this charming home in this historic community. The house was a lovely place to spend a holiday weekend with our children who are students at Penn State. The house had all the comforts of home and great parking.

Michael's place was a great place to stay! It was peaceful and private with beautiful horses and deer! Although, we didn't see any cows from the pictures. The place was clean and had everything in the pictures. Check in was smooth and check out included simple instructions- just know you'll have to take any trash with you. We will definitely plan to stay again.

This cabin is absolutely stellar! This was our second stay, and it was just as incredible as we remembered. The space is spotless, beautifully maintained, and perfectly located with privacy and a gorgeous views. It had everything we needed to relax, unwind, and enjoy some quiet time away from the world. Every detail feels thoughtfully put together to made us feel comfortable and at home. Peter, is incredibly responsive and made everything so easy for us. We love coming here and feel refreshed and recharged. Truly an amazing place. We can’t recommend it highly enough and can’t wait to come back again!

The house was exactly as described. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and just hanging out on the porch. The bed in the master bedroom was extremely comfy. We are hoping to visit again.

Beautiful, clean and cozy. The beds and couches were very comfortable. We were able to walk to a variety of places to eat and shop. Kane is a great town and Emily’s Airbnb allowed us to enjoy it all while also enjoying the space! We will be back.

The apartment was perfect base place for a few days exploring the Coudersport area. It was a warm place to return to rejuvenate after exploring in the cold weather. John and Olga provided us with suggestions for things to do and were quickly responsive when needs arose. Olga even patiently assisted me in my decision- making in her yarn store. So many options and it was hard for me to stay focused used. Thanks Olga! It was a pleasure meeting them and I look forward to returning to Coudersport to view more stars and all that it has to offer.

Gail was a wonderful host who gave great local recommendations. Her space is walkable from downtown and other destinations off Rt. 44. Would recommend her place to anyone!

Amber was the best host! The place was beautiful and clean and very well taken care of. Nestled right in the town of Coudersport it was close to everything we wanted. We were bummed when we got there and didn’t see the propane fire pit that was in the listing and when asked about it Amber jumped right on it and offered to drop some firewood off for the wood burning pit the next day! (Pesky bears seemed to have wanted to use the propane pit!) We got to enjoy a couple fires on our stay and couldn’t of asked for anything better. Definitely will be staying here again when we come back!

This was our second time staying at the Southwoods Lodge and we will surely come back again as we have family in the area. The lodge provides everything we needed for a comfortable stay with plenty of room to spread out and sit under the covered porch. Thank you Steve for making the Southwoods Lodge available for others to enjoy!
