This room faces SOUTH overlooking the lake. Private beach, walking/biking distance to Harbor Springs. 1 queen bed, in-room sink, with shared balcony overlooking Little Traverse Bay. 2 shared bathrooms. The house is 120 years old, there is NO insulation & NO heat in the main part of the house/bedrooms. We do have a heated kitchen & 3 piece bath & TV room for your use. Loved this place. We stayed in the notorious room 211 without any excitement. If you like a place with great staff (like Carol, Belinda, Mo, Henry and the list goes on) and a hotel with great old character, this is your place. Don’t miss having dinner in the 1911 restaurant. The planked whitefish is beyond delicious. Listen - this wonderful old girl was built in 1911 - her floors are creaky and perhaps not always even. Her window glass is a bit wavy now too. If you are looking for the Ritz, don’t stay here. If you are into sitting on the porch with a 15 year old scotch or glass of malbec while enjoying the breeze from Lake Michigan, this old girl is the place for you. We loved it!

Me and my young daughter had a “girls weekend” getaway, and stayed here. It was so cute and quiet, and the host was amazing. She gave awsome recommendations, was so kind, and laid back. Plus her breakfast was yummy :) We will be back!

This was an incredible experience- highly recommend to everyone traveling through Charlevoix! John and Lynda are the absolute best- they have wonderful recommendations for visitors to the area, are flexible, friendly and accommodating. The Plumeria room was perfectly clean, temperature controlled and had all amenities needed. Quiet home, walkable to downtown Charlevoix. Breakfast in the morning takes the cake- homemade, made to order omelets and waffles, coffee, fruit etc. lovely experience that we want to bring the whole family back for!

We had a great experience from the moment we got there until the moment we left. The location can't be beat being within walking distance to downtown. Terri was a great host and provided a variety of options for breakfast. Each room had its own bathroom which was a big plus. There was a cute front porch to sit and relax with rocking chairs and a table and chairs. We highly recommend staying here.
