We had the most wonderful stay at this charming Airbnb in Bass Harbor! The location is absolutely perfect — right on the water, offering stunning views and a peaceful, quiet atmosphere. After a full day of exploring and sightseeing, it was such a joy to come back to this cozy and homey spot to unwind and relax. The home itself has such a warm, inviting feel. It’s thoughtfully decorated, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It’s also in a prime spot — just a short drive to the iconic Bass Harbor Head Light and several beautiful coastal hiking trails. Plus, just a short drive to Acadia National Park, making it easy to explore the best of the area. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with close access to both nature and some of the region’s most popular attractions. Can't wait to return!

This was such a delightful, peaceful & beautiful place to stay. Shelby was extremely responsive & helpful. I appreciated that she went the extra mile to alert me to the Aurora Borealis & encourage me to see it from the point. When the power went out b/c of a local car accident, she kept me updated with information about cause & when power was expected to return & provided flashlights & a special battery powered lightbulb to provide light. I couldn't have asked for more!

good value, a little creepy if you're showing up at night (haunted vibes) a little damp smelling, especially in the bathroom (since it's carpeted) but the view makes up for everything. beds and sheets were all clean and comfortable upon arrival.

This is a lovely place, so private and tranquil. Allen provides everything you need right in the camper. It is just a short drive to Acadia and plenty of restaurants on Route 1 to chose from!

Christy’s cottage was absolutely amazing. From the outdoors to the interior she thought of everything and the property was very dog friendly. Loved the quiet neighborhood and proximity to surrounding areas. Was very easy to get to Bar Harbor. We had an amazing time and hope to visit again and enjoy all the cottage and area has to offer. Highly recommend!!

Spent a relaxing long weekend at the cabin. Idyllic location right on the water with plenty to do outside. We enjoyed making fires, fishing, and exploring in the canoe. Inside, the cabin was thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable. Camden is nearby for a nice dinner or a stroll and shopping downtown. Acadia is also close enough for a day trip. Checkin/checkout was very straightforward, and the host was helpful and quick to answer any questions. Hope to visit again!

This house is remarkably beautiful and welcoming. The walls of windows welcome sunshine throughout and the private views of the water are unmatched. Artistic details abound in the interior - like Anthro and West Elm had a baby. We vacationed with our toddler and my in-laws and we all had ample space to gather, as well as disperse. Highly recommend! Local recs: The Activity Shop for kayak rental delivery, pizza from Blaze, coffee from Bucklyn, brunch at Humblebee Cafe, sundries from Blue Hill Co-op, blueberry pie from Mount Desserts (on way to Acadia).

The Hadley home was so beautiful and comfortable! We felt right at home in such a beautiful space. It was well stocked with kitchen items, which made cooking at the house a breeze. Mike was such a great and responsive hosts with great recommendations around town. Hope to stay again!

My husband and I, and our two pups had a fantastic time in the Carriage House for a week. Part of a breathtaking private/secret compound on the water…with the most incredible private tidal pool. The place is so authentic, which is what we love about staying in ME when we can escape. We were so blessed to find Margaret’s place last minute. Margaret’s mother, Sally, and her husband were in the main Kate’s house. So so sweet they were to us and our girls. A dog paradise. We are foodies. Plenty of good restaurants around - just a few minutes to the adorable village of Stonington. Around the corner is one of the best restaurants in the country - Aragosta. We can’t wait to return…hopefully, in the Fall. A trip we will always remember. Thank you, Margaret & Family.

This stay was absolutely beautiful!!! It looked EXACTLY like the photos, maybe even better! It’s right on the water with a gorgeous view. If you like swimming in your own front yard and sitting up in bed to stunning landscape, this is the stay for you. We spent our time relaxing in one of the most comfortable beds Ive had at any hotel/airbnb, swimming in the water right off the dock, and watching wildlife right from the porch. The area is a large property with multiple stays, and while we passed our neighbors a few times we still had tons of privacy. This would be the perfect location for large groups wanting to rent the entire property/multiple stays on the property. We will hopefully be back in the future with the whole family!

My return visit to the Boathouse was even lovelier than I hoped it would be. The location can't be matched by anything else I've seen. I enjoyed a September visit with my dog and was lucky to have pristine weather. I lived a very simple and healthy outdoors life and came home the better for it. The Boathouse is true to its description: it is simple and rustic and uncomplicated but well-equipped, and is perfect for one-and-dog, or for two people. A little coming-and-going from the neighboring houses meant that I didn't feel isolated. Margaret is truly an exceptional and friendly host who communicates promptly and clearly. I almost hesitate to share "my" Boathouse location with too many of my back-home friends because it feels so intimate and special. I already want to be back there. I offer my deep thanks to Margaret and to the place that I could - briefly - call home.

A wonderfully charming spot to stay while exploring Acadia national Park and the surrounding areas. Rita was a delight, with fantastic instructions on how to find the place, recommendations for current happenings around town, and she was very responsive for any and all questions I may have had. The pictures don’t do this property justice, I highly recommend!

Samantha’s home was even better than the pictures! The location was fantastic. The home was super clean and had a wonderful smell when we entered the home. She and her team were very responsive and provided us with recommendations based on a survey they sent as well as a packet of information at the home. Check-in and check-out were very smooth. My family and I enjoyed it very much! We will definitely be back. Thank you again Samantha and team!

Beautiful & magical spot! Views of water were gorgeous to wake up to. Being able to walk out onto the beach was wonderful. Cabin was clean, soaring ceilings, very open and bright. Loved it!

Great place to stay! About an hour from Bar Harbor and close to restaurants. Right on the water. Had a great time- would stay here again for sure.

This was an amazing rustic cabin. So peaceful and a view that was spectacular. We sat for hours and just stared out! The wood burning stove was a delight and the bed was super comfy. The outdoor shower was warm and it was lovely to see the water and sky while showering. The location was perfect for exploring Acadia. The hosts were kind and very responsive. 100% recommend.

We had a wonderful vacation week at the Nub! It is in a location with spectacular views! We enjoyed watching sunsets from the deck, and spotted seals on multiple days. We also heard loons and a barred owl at night. If you are looking for a centrally located place that is peaceful and beautiful, this is it! The place is cozy and comfortable and Angela is a wonderful host- helpful and responsive. There are great opportunities for hiking, shopping and fine dining on the island. We highly recommend this rental, and hope to return in the future!
