Separate from the main house, fully renovated, self-contained one room unit, with your own off-street parking, private entrance and outdoor BBQ area. Easy walking distance to river and boat ramp. Our village has a well stocked Food Works, Butcher and Bakery, or you walk up to the pub for a drink and a meal. Enjoy a coffee by the river, and if you are lucky, you may see Dugongs grazing on the river grass. Unfortunately, as much as we would like to, we cannot accommodate your fury friends.

Jackie's place is spacious, really bright and the kitchen and laundry were really well-equipped. Huge AC and big TV fast Wi-Fi There's a large private veranda with outdoor couches and a view where we enjoyed watching sunrises/sets. The location was perfect for us too - close enough to walk to the beach in 5-10 mins Torquay, set back a couple of streets in a quiet cul de sac

Rebecca is a wonderful host. The house is immaculate, well maintained and beautifully decorated. We felt at home straight away. The location was great, close to the beach and peaceful surroundings. Great selection of teas and coffee. Rebecca included thoughtful extras such as chocolates and chilled local ginger beer. We really enjoyed our stay. Overall a wonderful experience. Ally and Pete's place was a perfect relaxing getaway for our family of 4. It had enough space for us all to do our own thing. Ally and Pete are very friendly, welcoming and generous. Those extra little touches just made the trip that little bit extra special, such as providing gift vouchers for local places to eat, and providing essentials as well as treats to enjoy during our stay. The house itself had lovely interiors and felt quite airy, beachy and modern. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if we visit Hervey Bay.

Fionas place has lots of space and a lovely outdoor area. The kitchen is very well equipt and there are loads of games and beach toys available. Nice shower and bathroom and good quality linens. It is very close (5 min. drive) to a lovely beach park and river inlet. It is part of a newly built area, that is still developing, and has a wonderful Whale watching spot at the right time of year.

We booked this accomodation for a group of blokes for a quiet, private getaway. We had moments of sunny, and also very heavy rain. With this indoor & outdoor pool, and so many aircon units we could swim in either condition and were really comfortable. The huge deck outlooking the river and yard was great, and we watched the rain pour while cooking steaks on the BBQ’s and listening to music. The kitchen and pool table room was fully kitted out. We were able to cook up huge meals and had everything from appliances to spare stubby coolers there for us to use if necessary. Winding up with a hangover as the stay wound up was no problem, the huge lounge room seated the whole group with ease, while we watched movies in the aircon like it was a private cinema. Once we arrived there, we didn’t need to leave at all, and had everything on-site to make for an awesome & relaxing stay at pacific haven!

Jill has an absolutely beautiful house with a great sized grassy yard for the kids to play, plus a ping pong table. Was brilliant sitting on the deck enjoying beautiful sea views and breezes. It’s a very short walk to the beach where we spent a lot of time swimming and fishing! Also the pub is close by for a coldie or 2! We loved every minute!!

We had a truly wonderful family holiday at Burrum Heads. Adam was an excellent host, making sure we had everything we needed, and even though he lives on the property, we barely knew he was there. We hosted a large family Christmas lunch on the large covered deck with ease. The sea breezes kept the place us cool all day. The kitchen was perfectly adequate for preparing all the food. Within walking distance of everything, we recommend this lovely, character home to anyone seeking an authentic, coastal holiday in Queensland.
