Phyllis and Derek were excellent hosts— they were very responsive and gave great recommendations of where to eat and what to do in town. The place was just as peaceful and relaxing as described. Highly recommend and we hope to be back this summer!

That view and being right on the lake is outstanding. Friendly Airbnb hostess with tons of advice of what to do in the area. Amish are close by so check out their markets, and just enjoy that outstanding view and lake access on a private beach. I loved everything about my stay here. Thank you so much! You can’t go wrong here—— also, your own private parking spot in an area that has hard to find parking…

As soon as we walked in the door, we felt immediately at home! This was one of the best Air B&B stays that we have ever encountered! My wife was so impressed with how thoughtful the decor was and the welcome basket was yet another detail that we did not expect. The lake view was beautiful and even though the weather wasn't the best, it was the type of place that you could just relax and spend the day right there. Maripat and Tim were truly "Super Hosts" and it was evident with their home and their great communication. They literally thought of everything that you could possibly need and anything else was pretty close by. We had the most relaxing and stress free getaway that we've had in awhile. If our travels take us back to western NY again, I can guarantee that we will be trying to stay at this beautiful place on the lake. If we could give this 12 stars...we would!

Search NO FURTHER!!!! This place has everything from amazing & friendly hosts, to a beautiful view of the lake, and to the small details such as umbrellas, scotch tape, and scissors! The bathroom medicine cabinet had first aid things, Motrin, bacterial wipes, simply all those small things that are easy to forget from home. This Airbnb is definitely worth every penny and we will keep it on the top of our list for when we travel to NY next time.

We had an excellent stay in Bemus Point. The lake view is really special and the location is perfect. Tom was a great host and responded quickly to questions about the coffee maker, internet, etc. It is a nice little unit. It seems to be an older unit that was partially refurbished. It was clean and cozy, but still shows its age in some spots. It was a great value and the 3 of us were very comfortable for the 4 nights we stayed. We had a great time visiting for the Eclipse. Highly Recommend!!

We have stayed in Susan's home multiple times and she never disappoints. Her hospitality is above and beyond, and she goes out of her way to make you feel cozy and right at home! She has everything you need to get started for your stay and then some - including decent toilet paper, tissues, a lighted make up mirror and cozy blankets amongst many other things. Everything was very clean as always and she's quick to respond to any communication. Her place is very convenient to downtown Ellicottville and Holiday Valley Ski Resort - maybe 10 minutes. If you're looking for an awesome place to stay.......this is it!

Sally went above and beyond during a pretty tumultuous stay! A huge dump of lake effect snow meant our plans were constantly changing, and Sally was flexible, supportive and concerned throughout. They kept the walks and parking places clear of snow, and checked in frequently to make sure everything was alright. I will be sure to recommend this stellar host to everyone I know who comes to visit in the area! Thanks, Sally and Scott, for everything!

We had a wonderful trip and the house was perfect. We could have used a snow shovel😁 but that was a very small issue. Michael and Jenn were super friendly , responsive, and helpful. I hope we can return next year.

Brian’s place is one of our favorite places to stay away from home. This was our second stay and hoping for more. There is a lot of space in the home and the surroundings are beautiful!

We had a wonderful stay here! The house was impeccably clean, lots of fun stuff to keep the kids entertained, and plenty of space for our family. We hope to come back again!

Great place and even while staying in winter, I can see this place being great for the summer months as well. Super peaceful and private. Jane communicated great and very responsive. We weren’t expecting to have the driveway clearing from all the snow that fell, but they did and it was so nice.

Beautiful home! Spacious and comfortable! Backyard was completely fenced in, and the neighborhood was quiet! The kitchen had almost every type of appliance and utensil that you would want for a “staycation!” The hot tub was also delightful and well maintained! And plenty of towels! We look forward to coming in the summer

The house was so cozy and had a ton of things to do for my teens. Plenty of room to spread out, fully stocked kitchen, gorgeous master suite bathroom, and a beautiful view! Most importantly, our hosts could not have been more gracious when we ran into weather-related issues and we didn't know when we could leave because of snow. We feel very lucky to have found this location, it was the perfect place to spend our holiday.

Hospitable merely begins to describe the stay my friends and I had at John’s property. The place offered everything you could need and then some. Communication was superb, instructions were clear and John was kind. The location of the house was phenomenal. Sunrises were gorgeous and the hot tub was great. Can’t wait to stay here again!

This is my third stay in Stephan and Sylvie’s Airbnb. They are great hosts. Quick to reply and always making sure that the client is satisfied. I have visited Ellicottville every year since 2019, and have stayed in various Wildflower condo units. While other hosts and units were good, I keep going back to Stephan and Sylvie’s place. I don’t give out recommendations lightly, but I think that if you try their place you will find value and a responsive host.

It was a perfect week! It was in a perfect location? Very comfortable and clean. It was everything we hoped for and more.

We’ve stayed at CHQ Lake Estates a number of times over the years. This was by far one of the best places! Quiet, clean, and comfortable—We took AM walks (just the best) and people are so friendly. The pool is amazing. And you cannot beat the view of the lake anywhere. We even took time to sit out on the cushioned deck chairs at sunset and just relaxed—something we don’t do often enough. Well stocked with pots, pans, glasses, utensils etc.. Soft sheets & comfortable beds. It was great to have 3 bathrooms—having 2 showers meant we could all get ready in record time. Be sure to bring your TV sign-in information so you don’t have to reset your passwords! (Voice of experience… lol) Great instruction book with local recommendations and fast wi-fi. We had 4 adults and 3 kids. We would definitely stay again!
