we stayed in the sunset apartment. the windows face the forest. it was very comfortable. we describe it as beach rustic. Doon, Taja's mom, who runs the Airbnb, was very helpful and available for questions and recommendations.

Our stay at the Tuna Can was nothing short of absolutely amazing! We took a girls weekend trip here, looking for some peace and relaxation and it was exactly that! Suzanne was so helpful with every question I had and so extremely thoughtful! She helped us secure our golf cart rental, taxi/ferry service from the airport and even met us at the dock to bring us to the house! Suzanne has the cutest animal friends ☺️ and her home is truly a retreat in the middle of the most beautiful island I’ve ever experienced! We will be back soon!

This was our second trip and second time staying at Irma’s. Her place is the epitome of beautiful island life. The view is amazing. You can see and hear the ocean from her place and you can have sand between your toes after just a walk across the road. Her beach chairs are prime and I do mean prime location on the most beautiful pink sand beaches.

My husband and I stayed at the Bird Cage for a quick wedding anniversary trip, and it was a wonderful experience. The Bird Cage was immaculate, with a modern and tastefully decorated interior. Although we spent most of our time indoors, the location was convenient, being just a short drive from Governor's Harbour, ATMs, shops, and more. Check-in was very smooth, and Solivia graciously allowed us to arrive early. She personalized our stay with a beautiful welcome message, wine, candles, and drinks in the fridge. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy for us to prepare meals at home. We felt so comfortable and relaxed that we didn’t want to leave. We would definitely recommend this place to couples looking for a relaxing and private getaway. You won't regret it! Thank you, Solivia; we will be back for sure!

As described. Clean, close to beach, golf cart was a huge plus. Blair was always super responsive and helpful.

My boyfriend and I have stayed here before and liked sitting on the front porch and checking out the street scene. Walking to the beach is a luxury. Comfortable and nicely appointed. Suggestion for improvement would to put up a couple of towel bars in the bathroom and a hook on the back of the door. I think I suggested the same thing last year. Otherwise, place is great.

I recently celebrated my 50th birthday and stayed at Swanson's Place, and it was the perfect spot to mark this milestone with my nephew and girlfriend who lives in that area. The 2-bedroom accommodation provided ample space and comfort for both of us, and the fully functional kitchen was a dream come true. With all the basic equipment and utensils we needed, we were able to cook up a storm and even host a dinner party for my two friends who live in the area. The location was ideal, with dining options, beaches, and the famous Ocean Hole at Rock Sound within walking distance. The atmosphere was peaceful and quiet, making it an ideal retreat. I would highly recommend Swanson's Place to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay on Eleuthera. Thanks for letting us stay in the lovely one bedroom studio. Everything was clean and fresh. Just like the photographs. It was easy to communicate with June, she was super helpful. Responded within 4 hrs typically. The walk to Gaulding’s Cay beach is only 3 minutes from the cottage. The beach is gorgeous with crystal clear water in a lovely cove. We used the paddle boards a couple of times and went out to the big rock. Great swimming and super quiet. My husband wanted to fly fish, but no fish scene at this spot. I’d definitely recommend Daddy-Joes restaurant, Taco Tuesday. An easy walk from the cottage. Good food and more reasonable than other restaurants. Live music some evenings as well which was fun.

Spectacular beachfront setting with open ocean views. Very private setting. Although there are other homes on Banks Road it felt like we had the beach to ourselves. Several good restaurants and pristine, sheltered beaches are just a short drive away. Home is partially updated (new appliances, new TV, new outdoor furniture and new covered beachfront deck with 4 lounge chairs) and features a spiral staircase to get to 2nd floor where the 2 bedrooms and a bathroom are located. We were very happy with our stay. Rachel was highly responsive and we would welcome the opportunity to visit again.

I had a wonderful stay! The space was exceptionally clean, beautifully furnished, and very well maintained. Everything felt thoughtfully cared for, which made for a peaceful and relaxing experience. The hosts were responsive, making the whole process smooth from start to finish. I’d absolutely return; highly recommend!

Had a lovely time at this spotless newly renovated house. Everything in the house works perfectly. Especially enjoyed the view of the Caribbean from the front porch.

We stayed a week. Check in was easy and precise, Walter is a friendly person who gave us lots of advice on the beaches and how to get around in general. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable. We perceived and experienced the authenticity of the place and the friendliness of the local people. Also 2 minutes walk from the beautiful beach of Tarpum Bay, we saw beautiful sunsets. It was a beautiful week. I recommend it and we will return.

We really enjoyed our time at Siren Song as we celebrated our friends getting married at the Other Side Hotel. We chose this place based on its proximity to the resort (walkable during low tide) but ended up so happy with the space. The beach access is perfect, we often felt like it was a private beach just for our party. We watched plenty of sea turtles, birds, and rays. We took the paddle boards out every morning and cooked several meals at home. We were greeted every time we returned by two sweet kitties who even followed us down to the beach. We were a very short drive to lots of beautiful sights - twin sisters beach and queens bath were our favorites. The area was buggy but Dani provided bug spray with the home. Lots of clean towels and we enjoyed some puzzles during down time. Checking in and out was a breeze. Thanks for a wonderful stay. We all agreed we had it much better than the folks paying a lot more down at the resort!

We enjoyed Christmas at David’s lighthouse. Everything was as described in David’s listing. The home was beautiful and we could not have asked for more. You would be lucky if you find this listing available. For sure- off the grid relaxing vaca😊

Fredricka was also incredibly responsive and helpful, providing me with great local recommendations and always being available to answer my questions. I can't wait to stay here again!

We stayed here while attending a wedding at Coco di Mama and loved it. It was the perfect week long getaway! Private and beautiful. We felt right at home and loved the easy walk to the shops. When comparing to where our friends and wedding guests stayed there is no question we made the best choice. We highly recommend this place, loved it, and hope to stay again soon.
