The c1855 Country House is set on the private grounds of the old Newtown grocers, which has now been turned into a multifunctional venue by local design partners Megan & Ollie. The accomodation in the shopkeeper's residence has been lovingly restored complete with original heritage features. Yellow Cottage El Dorado Van Gogh Inspired

Yellow Cottage is an original brick miner's cottage set in the rural village of El Dorado. Featuring two bedrooms, a queen size bed and two singles, a large living/dining area with open fire, dual system central heating/air-conditioning and a freestanding kitchen. Authentic country style bathroom and laundry. The cottage is located close to the centre of the village, within walking distance to the Tavern and General Store. Beechworth, Wangaratta, Milawa are all within an easy 25 minute drive.

Peace promised with 50 meters between cottages. Our cottages are self contained with wood fired hot tubs for the cold days, or use without a fire in summer to cool off. On site Cellar Door open Wed to Sat. Note: You need to make a fire to use the hotubs in cottage 3 and 4, if you are not familiar with fire, book nr 1 or 2 as they are electric.

Wee Varrich nestles within a delightful landscape; a fusion of carefully sculptured plantings of trees, shrubs, hedges, lawns and vines, against the power of the Stanley State Forest. Situated on the edges of Stanley village, the entrance to Varrich is a winding path through tall eucalypts. The property is situated on 2.49 hectares on land that was mined during the Gold rush era of the 1850’s. Wee Varrich is a fully self-contained cottage adjacent to the main house and secluded by plantings.
