A lovely beachside home with comfortable beds and quality linen (so important for me) The kitchen was well equipped and everything we needed was there. I also loved that it was dog friendly so my beloved hounds could join. The house is close to the beach so great to just walk out the door. We will be back again soon.

Beautifully decorated house and offered everything needed for a self catering holiday. Linen and towels crisp and high quality. Location of house is very central and walking distance of restaurants and beach. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.

No words can describe how amazing Michelle, her team and the house is! Just returned from a long weekend for my 50th. From the outset Michelle was so kind, helpful and the best host we have experienced on AirB&B. The house is enormous with plenty of rooms for 19 people. The views incredible, right on the beach. We saw whales, dolphins and beautiful birdlife and sunsets. It was honestly the best birthday location. Cistine helped with cleaning and was referred to as an angel and fairy. Thank you Michelle and Cistine, you truly helped make lasting memories. We highly recommend!!

We were a group of friends! The house is nice layout that you all have your own space! and a lovely big kitchen! The heated pool is a must! The kids had a blast! The area is safe! The house is surrounded by a high enough wall that kids and small dogs are safe. Braai area upstairs is beautiful! and downstairs is alot of fun with the pool as part of the entertainment area. Hosts were amazing ! Answered all our questions and communicated instructions timely!

What a fantastic stay we had! The views are spectacular, watching dolphins from the verandah, wonderful morning and afternoon beach walks. Magical in every way. House is perfect, the verandah is where we ate, chilled and did puzzles, with views of the sea. The dogs loved it and so did the people! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful stay for our anniversary. Peaceful walking distance to point break for my surfer husband. Amazing pool and deck area and everything you need for a time away, definitely bring everything you need with you as there’s only a small shop with very basics in it.

Wow what a stunning house in the perfect location for a relaxing weekend away from it all. Just 2 hours drive from Cape Town, Aurora is a tiny town literally in the middle of nowhere. There is a small shop and a coffee shop and that's all. You need to come with all your supplies as we were told on booking. Rojeane's house is a home from home, equipped with everything you could possibly need. The house is beautifully furnished and designed and perfectly positioned for the stunning sunset views. We had plans to hike and take a trip to the coast and we were so instantly relaxed that we did nothing. We read books and played with board games from the cupboard and then had delicious long braais into the night. The homemade feta and sourdough bread were so delicious we were begging for more! We were travelling with our teenage children and 2 small dogs and we all wished to stay another night longer when we left. It was a great family weekend away from the city.

This place is a dream! Your own private beach with all the modern furnishings you might need. Luxury kitchen equipment, beautiful decks and balcony, plenty of outdoor furniture and activities. We went to Paternoster for meals, but you will need to book in advance as restaurants fill quickly. An amazing getaway, we would go back in a heartbeat!

Incredibly charming home with the most amazing surrounds. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. The kids were entertained. Did not bother with WiFi or TV. Just blissful views and direct access to the beach. Loved the little pizza oven with all the tools. The kids went from the beach into the pool. We enjoyed the Kayak as well. Shane is a great a host. Highly recommended.

I want to share my impressions of our weekend in a lovely house we rented with friends. The place was cozy and comfortable, perfect for relaxation. The nature around was simply breathtaking: green forests and fresh air created a serene atmosphere. We enjoyed morning walks and evening gatherings on the terrace. Huge thanks to Jane for her hospitality and care. This weekend left us with only positive emotions, and we will definitely come back!

A beautiful place with stunning views right on the beach. Our extended family could hang out together or find their own private space. An extremely short walk to a gorgeous beach. Hosts live nearby and were very friendly and helpful.

We had been a little anxious about Paternoster but found the concerns about security (at least for us) not to be an issue. This cottage is stunning. Better than the pictures! Pool area feels like you’re in Greece, the beach side is definitely the Cape, and it’s breathtaking. It’s right on the beach. Lovely rustic style to the house and very comfortable. Security system in the house is reassuringly comprehensive. Great restaurants nearby (book ahead). The house is managed by a local rental office who are friendly and helpful. Janina is also very friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone and we hope to return.

Awesome setting in a stunning location. House is well appointed with all necessities. Check in process was easy with clear instructions, and Mia is very friendly and helpful. Ideal for a peaceful, private and tranquil getaway with family or friends. Rooms are spacious and bathrooms are clean. Perfect for 8 people. It got a bit chilly in the evenings, but it's probably just the time of year and Atlantic breeze. The pool is solar heated, which takes the cold edge off. Come stocked, as the nearest Woolies is 30 minutes away, but basic essentials are available much closer. Would highly recommend staying at this house!

This is a truly spectacular venue, perched on the western slopes of Piket-Bo-Berg with elevated views over the Swartland towards Paternoster. We took the main house and the cottage for a 3 day weekend for a party of 14. We used the main house as the social hub with a large open plan kitchen, wonderfully appointed dining deck and excellent outdoor cooking facilities. As a foodie catering to that number the kitchen facilities and options were superb and well integrated with the social spaces. In addition to the cottage, the main house bedrooms are divided between two buildings, 3 under the main roof and two directly across from the main entrance. Each structure has its own kitchen with modern fridges, stoves and ovens. They are tastefully decorated, while the main house has a wonderfully eclectic style that just works. All told we had a super weekend despite a barrage of electricity interruptions on one day but that didn't detract from the overall experience.

A great, clean and dog-friendly accommodation with a perfect little private patio and communal garden area that the dogs loved! Will definitely stay again.

It was our third time staying at Melanie's place - we just love how peaceful it is and the house with the garden is just beautiful. The hot tub was great for us and the kids. Would recommend it to anyone who needs to get out of the city and in need of a peaceful retreat.

Our stay at this accommodation was absolutely perfect! The property was exceptionally clean, and every detail seemed thoughtfully designed to enhance the experience. The scenery was breathtaking. We were pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful welcome gifts, including the chocolates on the beds. They even went above and beyond by leaving a special birthday gift for my mom, which was such a kind and personal touch. The house itself is wonderfully situated—sheltered perfectly so that sitting outside was comfortable and undisturbed by the wind. This made it a perfect spot for enjoying the views and soaking up the peaceful atmosphere while the children played on the beach. Lu-Ann and Ian were fantastic hosts! They were incredibly friendly, easy to contact, and maintained excellent communication throughout our stay. Their warmth and attentiveness truly made us feel at home. We will surely visit this place again.

Great host, beautiful and peaceful surroundings, perfect get-away spot

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is spacious and beautifully furnished and very well equipped. Well stocked kitchen with lots of space. You can see the ocean from the top bedroom as well as from the terrace. It’s a very quick walk to the beach. The only thing is that the main road is quite close and was very noisy from traffic at times, even at night. But otherwise all was good!
