Our stay was excellent, the house is spacious and very nice, very well cared for, Don Alexis and Doña Blanca are aware of what they can help you and make you feel welcome, I liked that they show you the whole house and they give you what you can find in the kitchen to help you in your stay. That it was in front of the beach was very important for us as we were going with an older adult who can't walk much and was able to enjoy it. The rooms are comfortable and offer privacy.

My family and I stayed for 1 night as we were looking to relax, and we were not disappointed. The beach is super nice and in front of the house, there were natural pools by the rocks, the house is super well furnished and the caretaker is super attentive. My children and I loved it. I definitely recommend it and we will definitely return on our vacation.

Gabriela is very responsible, she always responds to messages immediately. The house is very nice and cozy. The only thing I would change is the consumption of light, I think that should be included in the price! Turtles are certainly a too special touch.

Luis was there to welcome us and give us all the directions and recommendations. The place is beautiful, the view is beautiful. Nicaragua has beautiful places and it is certainly a place I would love to return to.

We loved Arnaldo’s very unique home . The pool was an absolute joy. We decided that we would love to have Juana cook meals for us and we totally enjoyed the meals prepared . A big shout out to Carlo’s the care taker. It was dark when we arrived-in Pochamil and we could not find the house. We reached out to Carlos and he met up with us and we were able to follow him to the house . No TV in the house which we loved . We totally disconnected for an entire week, it was awesome. We did have two power outages while we were there . One night very bad weather not sure what happened the second time . That is where the pool sure came in handy. Absolutely a beautiful view.

The house is amazing, worth the price, the only problem is the road if you go in a small car.

What made our stay at Gabriela's place was the outdoor space, which was furnished incredibly, comfortable, clean and cool pool, and we spent most of our time there. The views could not be better, the surf was right there for us. We ate out for our meals, so we didn't use the kitchen. The absolutely BEST part of this trip for us was Ray, Angela, Sasha, and their furry pets Max & Gerry. They took such incredible care of us, and they immediately felt like family. We were sad to part ways with them. Keep note that this property is on the far north end of El Transito, so if you are wanting to surf main break, it is about a 10 minute walk each way.

My husband, our friends and our kids stayed at Jared and Jenn's for 3 days. The property is amazing, with a path right from the back door to the beach and beautiful tide pools up and down the beach that are great for kids, it was much safer than other open ocean areas. It was very clean when we checked in, Fran is amazing and so kind. Emir was great and found fresh fish for us in the village each day. Wifi was good and air conditioners were well maintained and cold.You will need a high clearance vehicle like a truck or SUV to get back to the house, it's an undeveloped road but it wasn't any issue with our truck and it's only 1km. You walk from the house along the beach to the center of El Transito in about 30-40 minutes. After being in El Transito one night, I see why the road is like that, it keeps the beach where the house is super clean, quiet, and uncrowded. You can't hear the music from town, just waves and birds during the day. We'll be back, such a special spot!!

Was a great location to stay and close to a beautiful beach also.

The location was beautiful, the rooms were perfect for my extended family's stay with each room having its own independent bathroom. My sister in law said the kitchen was a favorite and everyone loved the view from the raised elevation. If you want to visit the beach you will need to go down a flight of steps, there you will find some very unique and amazing rock formations that our children loved to play in. The only challenge we had was finding the location as Google Maps for some reason wanted to to send us down a road that did not exist...The road that you will need to take to enter the beach community has an "aguja" or gate that has a watchman that will open it when you near.

Adrian is an incredible host. He was very accommodating and very quick to respond with any questions. He is also flexible with check-in and check-out time, which was extremely helpful. The place was very clean and had all of the necessities for a few night stay. The house is located on the outskirts of the small town of Nagarote. It was a very calm relaxing home away from home. Adrian es un anfitrión increíble. Fue muy complaciente y muy rápido para responder cualquier pregunta. También es flexible con el horario de entrada y salida, lo que fue extremadamente útil. El lugar estaba muy limpio y tenía todo lo necesario para pasar una noche. La casa está ubicada en las afueras del pequeño pueblo de Nagarote. Era un hogar muy tranquilo y relajante lejos de casa.

Excellent location facing the beach. We enjoyed the sun, the waves, and the sunset during our entire stay. The beach remained quite empty despite being Semana Santa.

Aurora’s Airbnb was beautiful, spacious and was exactly what I wanted to spend a weekend getaway with my Family in Nicaragua.

A Hidden Gem in El Velero! My stay at Villa Icaco was nothing short of amazing. Nestled right by the beach in the tranquil town of El Velero, this place is the perfect getaway for anyone looking to unwind and soak in Nicaragua’s natural beauty. The beautiful villa itself is well-kept, clean, and thoughtfully designed, offering a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Amelia, our host, was incredibly welcoming and attentive to every detail, making sure we had everything we needed. Her amazing house manager Yuner, was very professional and kind and made check-in and communication seamless. You can tell they truly cares about their guests’ experience. One of the best parts? Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying breathtaking sunsets right from the property. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat away from the crowds but still want access to local charm and adventure, Villa Icaco is the perfect spot. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again!

For a stay in Nicaragua (a third world country) this was all we could ask for and more. All of the amenities listed worked, the pool was beautiful, the property was kept clean and pristine. There sheets were changed for us and toilet paper, soaps, etc were provided. Note to bring your own towels! The beach was extremely close, just a few meters to the beach. The bathroom door did stick a lot and there were bats living in the ceiling above the kitchen which provided a bit of stress due to droppings which we swept in the mornings. It is insanely beautiful and the photos do not even do justice! It is stunning! Horses on the property, birds, sun, fruit! All you need!

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Costa Azul. It is a pleasant, comfortable and private space for families. The rooms are super clean and comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need. The road is super easy to access and the best thing is that the beach is super close and it is a fairly quiet beach. Michelle was super nice to us and was attentive to our stay the whole time 🙌🏼
