Zeinab is one of the nicest women I have ever met. I stayed with her for a month and have really enjoyed it. She invited me to events and has invited me to come celebrate the start of Ramadan with her family, which is very special for me. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Cairo is a complex and fascinating city. Celine’s apartment is in a once very fashionable area with grand bourgeoisie houses from the early 20C , Embassy’s and institutions like the French Institute (the gardens and buildings of which the apartment overlooks) and The American university etc. But in what seems typical cairo fashion, time and fashions have moved on and it is now a shadow of its former glory but still a vibrant and really interesting and convenient area to be in. There are small shops , market stalls and places to eat very close and yet the apartment is quiet and very peaceful. It is also spacious and well laid out with two sitting rooms and a dining room and the two large double bedrooms. Celine herself was always prompt and helpful to requests for information or help . Coming from Madrid and arriving at the apartment in the middle of the night , I found the entrance and stairway was a bit of a shock , but once inside the apartment it was very reassuringly homely.

We had definitely an amazing time here and Mohamed was so nice and helpful, making sure everything was fine all the time. We enjoyed chatting with him and are very grateful for all his help. If possible we’ll revisit again!

Nariman is an amazing person, I had a problem checking in the previous day and she kindly helped me and was super supportive & responsive. My room was clean and the place is near both Cairo & Giza. Best of both worlds if you are staying in Cairo for a couple of nights and want to explore.

Yousif is a very nice, outgoing and generous person. I’m happy to be with him in Cairo. He gave me some introductions about the spots in Cairo and good restaurant nearby! The room is nice in the center part of old town, but quite quiet actually, because there’s always noise in old town. It’s also very easy to go anywhere. I’d like to go back living here with Yousif next time!

Only bad thing was the internet speed, 25MB/s. Other than this everything was great. Excellent location, Ola is a very nice host, beautiful place and safe neighborhood.

The place was easy to find since it's located in the center of Cairo, close to the main touristic attractions and easy to find as well for the public transportations (such as Uber and a metro at a walkable distance.) The apartment matched perfectly the rooms showed in the picture. It's very bright and spacious, as well as clean and has all the basic stuff. The neighborhood was super chill and it's near of places that has all the medical related necessities, which is important to have many pharmacies nearby. Overall, a great place to stay again💖💖💖

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Cairo. The apartment was lovely, with a calming style perfect for unwinding after a busy day. The location was very convenient, with a grocery shop less than 8 minutes away, smaller shops for essentials like bread and water around the corner, and a nearby market with fresh vegetables. The bakery close by is also highly recommended! Communication with Axelle was smooth and friendly. A small note: some of her personal belongings are in the apartment, so there’s slightly less space for your items, but it’s well-organized and didn’t bother us at all. Like many guests, we needed a moment to figure out the shower. The water pressure is a bit lower than we’re used to but works fine once you get the hang of it. The WiFi worked perfectly, and the Chromecast was a nice extra, it made relaxing after a long day easy. The apartment is great for staying cool in summer, though it might be harder to heat in winter. Overall, highly recommend it!

A really lovely place, full of character. Location is amazing - Garden City is nice and relaxed, with plenty of local shops for food and drink, and the underground is only a ten minute walk away to get you to busier areas of the city. Apartment is very comfy and well equipped.

I had a great stay in Moustafa's flat, which is ideally located within walking distance of downtown Cairo. The neighbourhood is lively and safe, and you'll find all you need in the area. It's also close to subway stations, so you can easily travel along the lines. The flat itself is big and equipped with all the necessities, be it in the kitchen or bathrooms. The rooms are comfortable and all of them have air conditioning, which is a must in Cairo. Moustafa is a very agreeable host, and in Cairo Halla was easy to reach and readily available to help me with any issues I encountered during my stay. All in all, I warmly recommend this place if you need accommodation in Downtown!

My family and I had a great stay here. We were heavily delayed so arrived very late but the host was amazing and came out in the middle of the night to help us. The apartment is very authentic, well positioned and most important the air con worked! There is a cafe on the ground floor which made grabbing a bite to eat very easy and there are several shops within a very short walk. Would recommend to anyone visit Cairo.

Ahmed was an excellent host, always took time to check up if everything was okay or if we needed anything also very friendly and easy to communicate with. The place was also very cozy and comfortable. Highly recommend!

I have a very good stay in Maie’s apartment when I was in Cairo. The neighborhood is very safe and pretty. You can get everything you need here. Maie is very nice when I check in, she prepared the traditional cookies for me. And the check in time is flexible as well. I would definitely recommend her apartment to all the people come to Cairo. There is only thing that the apartment is facing to the street, so the noise from the street is unavoidable. But with the location and the price of this apartment, it would be acceptable.
