Vacation rentals with lake access in El Peñol

This place is awesome , the water is just right the spaces are super clean and organized. We enjoyed the games and going down to the water for a swim my family had a really good time .

Our stay was great. The place is very nice, cozy, private and very colonial. The beautiful garden! The manager is very diligent. I would return.

Everything was spectacular. The house is better than the photos. The perfect location. I celebrated my 40th birthday with 16 friends and we had a great time. Super friendly and helpful butlers. Super recommended!

This is a pretty nice place. It does NOT have hot water. Not even slightly warm water. Don't plan on using that big bathtub that you see unless you want a cold plunge (without the sauna). The lack of hot water matches the amenities at the bottom of the list if you look down far enough. I guess I just assumed with that many showers and a huge tub that there would be hot water. Also, the beds are very hard. Don't plan on sleeping on your side. The owner was very nice and had quick communication. Overall, it is pretty nice. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. Pretty nice view. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb if you don't mind cold showers and if you prefer firm mattresses. We ended up renting a different Airbnb halfway through.

Dream location, Kiel is an excellent host and his words still ring in my ear 'one day is not enough to enjoy my house', how right he was. If you want to disconnect and feel a little piece of heaven, without a doubt, this is the place.

The location is the main star, it's in the end of a distant water branch ("Primavera", north from Guatape). ~0 tourist boats, neighbors' are barely visible, all quiet & filled with birds. The land is large & gorgeous, different orange & banana trees +vegetable garden. Direct access to the lake (down ~20 m hill). Water is comfortable. I rented kayak (Casa Encuentro) & bicycle (Bicirenta). Kayaking & fishing was magical. Cycling to Guatape is ~45 mins 1-way (11km, 400m ↑/↓) + u can cycle to Peñol via village roads. House inside is simple but functional. Kitchen well equipped. Sturdy mattress. Cons: on arrival electronic lock wasn’t setup, 1 window was broken, main door had no glass. I had to set up the lock myself, the windows were fixed in ~2 days. On the last day they’ve sent in lawn mowers at 9:30 am, with check out time at 12:00 & next guest coming in 2 days… But I got a later check out time. But now the house is all set, everything is fixed, you can enjoy the stay safely :)

The property is in a great location. The view is amazing. Fernando and Wilson help take care of the home, and they were phenomenal. They were extremely helpful and made us feel very safe. They really made a big difference for us. The house is spacious, the amenities were great. The pool was small but nice. Great seating areas outside. Would definitely come back.

Lucas's apartment was a perfect place to spend 3 weeks for me and my friend. I was there to ride my bicycle, so the location was perfect to just hop on the bike and get moving. The amenities and comfort of the apartment were great. The kitchen was amazing, with all kinds of devices for prep, cooking and storage. There aren't enough superlatives to describe how happy I was with my stay at this apartment and in Rionegro in general.

It is a very nice place as you see it in the photos, it is even bigger than what is shown in the post. The location is perfect for walking along the Malecon and getting to downtown Guatapé just about a 5 min walk. The place has mud as needed, kitchen, refrigerator, hot water in the showers. The reception girls are the most beautiful in the world and always ready to support you in what you need. Totally recommended.

We spent two nights here as a family and loved it. It is exactly as shown in the photos and is very close to downtown Guatepe. The only recommendation would be to have instructions in the apartment to use the jacuzzi and the hot water in the house, which was difficult for us to set up.

One of the best properties I have had the pleasure in visiting . All was excellent.

I went there to celebrate my 60 birthday and certainly dont regret it! Very beautiful house and view. The music noise on some nights was awful but thank God not all nights. Daniel is a super friendly and very reponsive host. We were a party of 7, and we all enjoyed our stay there very very much!! We highly recommend this villa!

Julio is a great host. La Blanquita the house is a little bit of the wonderful town of Guatapé. It had great views of the rock, the lake and the area. We only stayed for a night. Julio helped us with a cab from the Medellín airport. He was very kind and had the keys ready since it was late and raining. He was very responsive and offered us help with motochiva rides to the town and the rock. The house reminded us of India which is why we booked it in the first place. The terrace is a delight. There is a guidebook to the town and a visitor log to sign. Our kids loved the bunk beds and took the top beds. We felt safe in the neighborhood. Local snacks are available for purchase in a basket and we got complimentary water bottles. The only thing we missed was an easy way to refill our water bottles and we ended up heating the tap water. The house is down a narrow street from the main road and is probably a good 20 minutes walk from the stone, good exercise for the fitness freaks. Awesome!

Possibly the best Airbnb experience I have ever had. Came with a group of 6 friends for 5 nights and we were all blown away by the home, the location, town and the service from Elena. This place is unique and special — more homey than most places you will find, but still very spacious and luxurious. Internet connection was also strong enough for me to work remotely, including video meetings, which is hard to find outside of a city! I hope to return with my family and friends soon!

Excellent place, I found what I was looking for with the family, a beautiful, quiet place where we could connect with nature, when I want to return to Guatape I will return
