Vacation rentals with lake access in Colombia

I think I hit the jackpot booking this property! I will preface this by saying this isn't my first or 10th time in Medellin and have business in the country/city. Usually when I travel I bring friends and tend to spend it in Poblado, but was adamant about branching out of that area as I know there is more to offer than just Poblado. - El Poblado is about a 20-30 minute drive from El Poblado depending on location, traffic and weather. As I know the area, I came in knowing that was fine for me. Plan accordingly if you dont have a vehicle or a private driver. - The property did not have physical A/C units. However, it is in the mountains. It is naturally cooler in the mountains. Culturally, I needed a fan and got one upon request. I was beyond good. - Their team was VERY receptive to all requests via chat. They worked w/ my team and staff and their collaboration was phenomenal! - I will definitely recommend and stay here again. - P.S. The pool is indoors and heated, like the Jacuzzi!!

You will feel at home on the property with the very kind, helpful family who owns all of the land that the property sits on. They are very friendly and helpful with anything you need. There is a spa right next door to the rental where you can get massages. They have beautiful ponds where they grow fish, and if you want to catch some, it's every cast and you have dinner, and of course we received a lot of help from Mr. Carlos (our local fishing guide). The woman who runs the spa was super friendly and our gracious host. I would highly recommend you hire her for a massage or two! The place is designed very intelligently, from the lighting, to the spacing and rooms, kitchen, etc. We will be back.

I loved the house, very organized, it has everything you need to have a pleasant stay. Carolina was attentive at all times to resolve any concerns. Likewise, Juan Carlos is someone who is attentive to what is needed in the place, he is very friendly and helpful. In conclusion, a great place.

Casa Colibrí was absolutely peaceful and unforgettable! This lake house in Guatapé has been hands down our favorite stay. The views of the lake were beautiful and swimming in the lake from the dock was a highlight for us and our 2 year old son. Along with Mona the dog, the sweetest pup you’ll ever meet. We were there in rainy season, which was mostly sunny every day with rain in the evenings. So if you’re wondering whether you should come in rainy season, you should! The house itself was cozy, spotless, and fully stocked for a relaxing getaway. The artistic touches make the home one of a kind. We were especially appreciative of the recommendations from our host—we received massages at the house and took an amazing boat ride. Even though it’s tucked away in nature, it was surprisingly easy to get around, with quick access to the town and the famous Piedra del Peñol via motochiva. If you’re looking for a place to experience tranquility, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back!

It was a wonderful, quiet and enjoyable experience. My family and friends surprised me with this place for my birthday, and I didn't think I'd be so excited when I arrived. 🥹 Thanks to Liliana for her hospitality and kindness. For all those who have groups of 20+ people, this is the ideal place for a really cool weekend.

Lovely quiet finca about a half hour walk from the town of Guatape. We had a nice and peaceful time here, waking up to the sound of exotic birds every morning. We got to see fireflies at night! The couple co-hosting the finca were friendly and helpful. They diligently cleaned the patios and the jacuzzi area every morning. The kids absolutely loved the trampoline and play area in the garden. Definitely recommend this finca for families seeking some quiet time, while also exploring Guatape and surroundings.

An excellent stay, there were 5 of us and 2 dogs and the house is really very comfortable, it has many things to do and is very complete. Yuri, the lady who takes care of the house, is the highlight, always attentive, helping at any time. The place is very quiet and has very nice natural views. I would 100% recommend coming back.

It's a beautiful house! The unparalleled view, and all the amenities it has are unbeatable! From the moment we arrived, they were very attentive to us, flexible check-in and check-out, attentive all the time, the kitchen is very complete, the beds are very comfortable, the bathrooms are impeccable, all the appliances work. The house is very well equipped, which greatly facilitated our stay. Super cozy, with a perfect climate, everything is impeccable. The house was beautiful, with a very quiet atmosphere that allowed us to rest and enjoy ourselves to the fullest. The pool is very close to the property, and the private jacuzzi was definitely one of our favorite spots. The views from the house are beautiful, and the kitchen was very well equipped, which made our stay much easier. The layout of the rooms is excellent, each with its own very nice bathroom, which gave us all privacy and comfort. The condominium is located very close to the main road, and can be easily accessed with any type of car. Ana was an excellent host: always attentive, willing to help us with anything we needed or any questions we had, at any time of day. Even before our arrival, he was very attentive to making sure everything was clear and organized. We would definitely be back. Thank you for everything Ana!

It's our second visit to this little paradise. We had a very comfortable weekend break; we enjoyed the peace and quiet that La Comarca offers. Very grateful to Mr. Mauricio who, as always, was very kind and attentive.
