Our stay at Malachite Place, although short, was nothing short of extraordinary. The unit was sparkling clean and kitted with every extra amenitiy that you would need. Laura and James have thought of every detail to make your stay as comfortable and care free as possible. Laura's clear instructions on check in and check out as well as local recommendations were top class and helped make Mtunzini feel like home. I would highly recommend Malachite Place for anyone looking for a care free relaxing stay!

I have traveled for business all over the world. You should also understand that I am typically a very hard person to satisfy and I’m also a very hard “grader” when considering services rendered. Ms. Cielie and her staff certainly know a few things about being an accommodating host. Other than my own home, this was the next best and most comfortable stay I’ve experienced to South Africa over the last seven years. If you have an opportunity to stay on their property, I am absolutely sure you will not be disappointed. I look forward to re-visiting Eshowe in the not so distant future. We loved our stay at Isabelle’s place and we will definitely come back the next time we visit Mtunzini. It’s a beautiful, quiet and comfortable spot with a private outside area and lovely surroundings. Isabelle was a wonderful and gracious host.
