Beneden bevindt zich een grote woonkamer met goed geoutilleerde keuken en badkamer. Het huis is geschikt voor een gezin of vriend(inn)engroep van 2-4 personen. De slaapkamers boven met 2 tweepersoonsbedden staan in open verbinding met elkaar. Buiten is een overdekt terrasje en een groot gazon. Vanuit het huis is direct aansluiting op wandel- en fietsroutes.

Our shepherd’s hut ‘De Lachende Specht’ is tucked away in the woods, offering peace and privacy. From here, you can walk or cycle straight into nature: to nearby sand dunes, lovely villages or wide open landscapes. The lively city of Breda is just 15 minutes by bike. The accommodation has a bathroom, cozy box bed and kitchenette. Enjoy the sounds of birds, playful squirrels and all the greenery around you. Unwind or head out and feel the energy of the outdoors, you’re in for a lovely stay!

In the immediate vicinity you will find several nice restaurants. The fascinating hilly landscape in which Berg and Dal and Groesbeek are hidden, are easy to reach by foot or by bike as well as the sandy beaches of the river Waal where you can swim. The studio is accessible for disabled people with a wheelchair.

You have access to your own private 6 person Jacuzzi. There are mountain-bike and hiking trails starting in our back yard and you are more than welcome to rent our e-MTB or MTB to try these out.
