It's just a few kilometres from Melbourne's CBD. Elwood boasts some amazing restaurants, cafes, and the beach—and it's all a short distance from the apartment. Ripponlea Railway Station is short 10 minute walk from the apartment.

Frank was great to communicate with and very accommodating, even with last-minute changes. Frank's home is wonderful, spacious and very clean. The Balcony is to die for, and I wrote a chapter for my next book on the swinging chair. The only slight disappointment was that the pool is actually a pond. You can dip in it, but it is not for swimming laps it is relatively small and full of fish. A great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of a busy life, endlessly quiet, beautiful sunrises from the comfort and warmth of your bed.

We stayed at Lisa’s AirBnB for three nights to explore the Dandenong Ranges. The cabin is spacious and includes all the necessities. We were particularly happy with the chickens, the fire place and the bathroom. The town of Emerald offers plenty of facilities and the public transport is helpful to get you anywhere you like. We went hiking through the autumn foliage, which was a relaxing getaway from the city. Lisa is a very kind host who will help you with anything. 10/10 recommendation and I’m sure this wasn’t our last time.

Fire + Ice was a lovely, clean, cosy home and had everything we needed for our new year weekend getaway. We went during the summer months and the Delatite river is just a stone's throw away and the kids had a great time there. The firepit at the house was also a favourite of everyone. Caroline and Duncan were amazing hosts and communication was always prompt, friendly and clear. Will be a great spot for winter as the place is only a 15 minute drive away from Mt.Buller.

Vu was an amazing host and presented an amazing home. We were surprised to find that it was exactly how the house was presented in the photos. It was clean and beautiful. The beds were super comfy and what great amenities. I loved the attention to detail. Vu has spent a lot of time and energy thinking about how he wanted his guests to feel at home and has spared no expense at presenting a luxurious home away from home.

We spent a very relaxing Easter long weekend at Mountain Ash - a beautiful bush retreat surrounded by trees and nature. My little one loved spotting kookaburras and possums, as well as star gazing and toasting marshmallows on the open fire (both the outdoors fire pit and indoor wood burner fireplace). Comfy beds, nice big bathtub and well equipped kitchen. Only 3 mins walk from the Pig & Whistle Tavern. Thanks for having us - great communicators and the little welcome gift was a lovely touch. Hope to be back again soon 😊

This apartment is perfectly located near some lovely cafes, and the bus stop to the city is just around the corner. Carlton North is a leafy and vibrant area, making it a pleasure to explore. Pemmy was a responsive and considerate host. When we had an issue with the shower not draining, she quickly arranged for an electrician to fix it, provided fresh towels, and even left a complimentary bottle of wine.

The apartment was well presented, clean and cosy. It is located on a quiet corner with cafes, a local supermarket, chemist and lots of parking on street when we needed to come in and out. The roof top was a plus with nice views and pleasant breeze for sunset coffees and drinks. The host responded promptly when we needed to change our booking due to fires in the outer region and we felt we were looked after well. When we didn’t want to drive public transport was very accessible. Highly recommended
