This place was awesome and even though I was a solo traveller I used all the rooms. The kitchen had everything I needed to make simple meals (even proper knives) and the bathroom/ shower was spacious and clean. Ryoko was a terrific host. She was able to answer all my questions and was so helpful in every way. This was the best value place I think I have ever stayed in, across 3 countries. If you do not cope well with steep stairs (about 10, I think) then you won't like this place. My legs got a good workout using them. Great views from the top floor. Many thanks.

We stayed there as a family of four. This is far most the best Airbnb we stayed, it’s a beautiful house by sea, I can literally spent whole morning sitting by front yard watching the sea, having my coffee and read with sunlight shining. The place can live up to maybe 10-12 people with tatami. And since we only have four person, the place is super spacious with many details, all amenities are in full, we even spent a night playing boardgame. I believed you will enjoy very much if you have children’s in the group. The place is also surrounded by hills, which we went up to one and enjoyed the view from uphill. It’s a 40 mins drive to Matsuyama city, not too far. I will definitely recommend to others.

Beautifully designed house with refined and chic furniture and fixtures. Host Minmi was so sweet and helpful, she explained how everything worked in the bathroom and we were able to do a load of laundry as well. She welcomed us with fresh bread and jam from a local bakery as well as champagne! She recommended a wonderful ceramics artist where we bought presents for our friends and also cooked us an amazing dinner of fresh local fish tacos which was a highlight of our whole trip! Very communicative and also did not bother us the whole time so we had our privacy as well. Highly recommend this elegant seaside house!

A fabulous stop on the Shimanami Kaido route, and the best AirBnB I've ever stayed in. Amazing views, luxury touches, and plenty of space after a day of riding. Far from stores and shops so be sure to stock up before going to the house.

We had a great time in Matsuyama! The house is in a perfect location right next to the ferry to Kashima island and close to a 7 Eleven, and many great restaurants (our favorite was the Takoyaki shop a couple of minutes away by foot). The house is in a very peaceful and relaxing neighborhood with easy access to downtown Matsuyama. The host is very responsive and available! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Dieses tolle liebevoll eingerichtete Ferienhaus ist unser Favorit unserer Reise. Rei und Akira holten uns mit dem Pick-Up und dem Auto von der Bushaltestelle. Das Haus liegt direkt am Meer, man kann gleich von zuhause loswandern oder auch entspannen im Haus, kochen mit Bluck aufm Meer und vieles mehr! Schade, dass wir nur eine Nacht hier waren. Der Ort lädt zum verweilen ein. Wärmste Empfehlung!

The house is spectacular. My kids loved all the Ninja activities around the house. The house is very nicely renovated yet kept its traditional structure. The beach nearby is also very nice. We hope to stay again next time!

we stayed at Yoshi's beautiful spot for two nights in mid April and absolutely fell in love with it. the way he has renovated the space to be a unique getaway, and his warm hospitality are so special. the location is a dream - looking out at the setonaikai inland sea was complete bliss. Yoshi had local wild boar and sake for us, and we enjoyed time chatting with him too - super recommended for anyone wanting to unplug and soak up the setonaikai vibe. also: ameri just down the road is well worth checking out for a meal and some great music :)
