If you ever visit Joburg and would like to feel right at home, I'd highly recommend staying at Charl's place. His home is exactly as described in the photos listed and it is very safe, peaceful and comfortable. I felt right at home and cooked breakfast in his kitchen everyday during my stay before I started my day. He also has two adorable dogs who are so sweet and friendly are are happy to keep you company. All in all, a great place to stay on your visit to Joburg.

We had a wonderful stay at this unique home in Kyalami. The place felt like a private lodge, with quirky decor that added so much charm and character. We especially loved spotting the deer and tortoises roaming around—it gave the whole experience a peaceful, nature-filled vibe. The garden, pool, and outdoor area were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the stunning African sunsets. The 4-bedroom house was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped for a group. Gary, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a tranquil, one-of-a-kind getaway close to nature.

I had a lovely stay at Lauren's home. As other reviewers have noted, it is such a peaceful, warm place in the middle of the city, with easy uber/car access to everything that you need (I rarely waited more than 2-3 minutes for an uber). The garden area is so peaceful, the home is very well equipped, and Lauren is very responsive and helpful.

Leroy was a brilliant host and the place was stunning. Enjoyed my stay!

The place is more prettier than seen on pictures. The location where its based is so quiet and peaceful and we had an amazing time and thanks to brave who made sure he helps us with any queries we had. we are definitely coming back soon.

Dieter’s apartment was exactly what we wanted - so we to could visit an elderly relative very nearby when over from the UK. It was spacious, clean, very secure and well-equipped. The welcome from both Dieter and his wife Brigitte was extremely warm and friendly and we look forward to another visit to base ourselves there in the not too distant future. The flat itself is stunning—cozy, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with everything I could possibly need. The peaceful, upmarket neighborhood offered the perfect escape, and yet I was always just a short drive away from the hustle and bustle of Sandton and Johannesburg’s vibrant city life. What made this experience so memorable, though, was the hosts and staff. Attention to detail, kindness, and dedication to making sure I had everything I needed truly set this place apart. It felt like a place where every guest is not just accommodated, but cared for. It’s rare to feel such a sense of belonging when staying away from home, but I truly did here. I’ve already reserved this amazing home away from home for 2 more stays in 2025.

The place was clean, well equipped kitchen and looks exactly as described in the pictures. The WiFi was not working though.

Washington's place is as described and was easy to get to. Flat was clean and he sent all the useful info to get settled in with ease. Fortunately, I was able to get an early check in which was very helpful. Everything ran smoothly throughout ny 2 week stay and Washington made sure to respond to requests right away. Staff at the complex were friendly and helpful. I would return again.
