'Hyun', meaning snow in Garhwali, is our Himalayan abode nestled in a quiet, charming village, where it sits within a small cluster of villas, hotels, and cafés. It overlooks apple orchards and snow peaks, and offers modern comforts along with space for rest, reflection, or remote work. Beautiful hiking trails nearby lead to majestic Himalayan views. We have a warm and dependable caretaker-cum-cook and a helpful assistant, both are like family to us and make sure every guest feels at home.

Lal Kothi: Mountain Wrapped home w/ Awadhi Cuisine

Lal Kothi is chef Sameer Sewak & his family's home in countryside Dehradun. It is surrounded table top views of Mussoorie hills, Tons river, Sal forests. Guests get the 2nd floor with a private access. The space includes 2 bedrooms, a kitchen/lounge, 2 terraces & balconies. Included in your stay is a complimentary breakfast. Guests get to order vegetarian & non-vegetarian delicacies for lunch & dinner from the dehradun famous Awadhi cuisine menu designed by Chef Sameer & his mother Swapna.

We invite you to our small & cosy rustic mountain cabin built on our small farm located at the foothills of dehardun. Enjoy best of both worlds. The cabin is situated near a river surrounded by lush green forests but yet accessible to the city centre in just 15 mins. Perfect for young couples , families with small munchkins and digital nomads. We do not have a chef yet so zomato away or use our fully capable kitchen. Rest leave it on us - stocked pantry and daily housekeeping !

Our absolute favorite spot is the big covered deck- there’s nothing like sitting out there under the fairy lights with a hot cup of tea, watching the sunset dip below the peaks. If you want to escape the crowds, slow down, and just breathe in the crisp mountain air, our little sanctuary is waiting for you.

At Go Pahadi we love good food, great books, our Bhutia dogs & many many plants. Our garden is a motley mix of herbs, flowers, veggies & fruit trees & we love sharing our produce - dad is a master gardener & Ayurveda expert with stories, wisdom & seeds to share. Another year-round hangout is our Tibari (patio) where you can soak up some sun, nap or sip many cups of tea! P.S. How could I forget? We also have a wood-fired oven for all you pizza lovers! 🍕✨
