Places to stay in Eclectic

We spent 4 nights together with our family. Justine’s place was perfect for the family to gather in the open living room/kitchen area. The sofas had several recliners and plenty of seating for the 11 of us. My parents use walkers and the first floor was easy for them to move about. The main floor bathrooms have walk in showers and rails in the toilet area. In addition, there were 2 lift recliners for those needing help standing from sitting position. The upstairs was great for the young adults to hang out later at night. Overall we loved Justine’s place and are planing on visiting again in the near future. Oh, the sunsets are gorgeous!! We LOVED this rental so much we extended our rental for the rest of our spring break. We were supposed to stay 2 nights and head to Florida but stayed 6 days at Stephanie and Chuck’s. It is a beautiful property. My kids fished and swam every day off of their fabulous dock. We rented a boat and had the best time on Lake Martin. Stephanie recommended a wonderful marina 5 minutes away. There is so much to do and see on the water. Our dog loved being able to run around, met the neighbor dogs and lay in the sun by the water. The accommodations were perfect. The kitchen is awesome. It’s fully stocked with everything you need. They really thought of everything. The laundry, extra bedding, corn hole, grilling, the fire pit, even a swim mat for the kids. The beds were so comfortable! We all felt right at home. Stephanie and Chuck are so kind, very responsive and had great recommendations. We will definitely be back.

Very quiet, peaceful and comfortable place. Only there 1 night but slept better than most nights at home.

The cabin was rented for family coming in from out of State to attend a wedding. Since the children were on spring break that week we decided to take advantage and rent a cabin on the lake. The location was convenient to the wedding venue. We spent the week with our boats out, enjoying the water, fishing and the waterfall. The kids enjoyed the bonfire and making s’mores. The cabin was beautiful and clean. There was plenty of sleeping arrangements for everyone and bathrooms. The kitchen was fully stocked so we did a lot of cooking in the cabin. I would highly recommend this cabin for any other family who enjoys the water and outdoor fun.

Faye’s place was very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend giving her place to stay if you’re in the area.

The treehouse was absolutely perfect. I went in the off season looking for peace and quiet. The location was absolutely ideal - it is private but not isolated, with neighbors nearby but far enough that I felt in my own little world. The house was beyond amazing - it would be so entertaining for a group or a family. So many games and activities! The decor was really fun and the amenities were all top notch. My two pups absolutely loved exploring the beach area near the marina. Definitely would go back!

We picked this spot as an alternative to staying in Auburn since we were in town for a football game on Saturday. It was really nice and we wished we had scheduled another day or two to stay around the lake. The setting was really beautiful on the lake. We went to dinner at the steakhouse on the grounds and it was fantastic. The locals were friendly and welcomed us. The condo was very nice, clean, spacious, and modern. It was perfect for us. TV and WiFi were easy to figure out. Appliances were nice. We would definitely pick this spot again if we were ever going to be back in the area.
