The experience left nothing to be desired as we were looking for a remote spot and a place comfortable and spacious enough to stay inside during bad weather and Jeff’s place checked the boxes. We were the only ones in the 2 unit home. The view is very pretty and the wildlife is plentiful. The access to the water is down a dirt embankment which leads to mud flats at low tide. Beware of the tides if you can get the kayaks down there.

The location is in a beautiful area. We'd purposely shortened our stay due to being early for whale watching in Eastport. As a result, we set out to explore other parts of Maine. We, however, recommend staying at Joanne's as it's lovely, cosy, and affordable – it has a private deck and gorgeous views along with most of what you need at an Airbnb to make your stay a relaxing one.

What a unique property and enclave of cabins and houses. Sunsets like no other and beautiful topography. Rossport By the Sea is a unique location with amazing ocean and meadow views, and interesting and creative common outbuildings. Ocean Bay cottage was comfortable and uncluttered with lots of privacy. Herons galore on the shore. Ross is an interesting & hospitable host. We hope to return.

The Cory Cottage was perfect for our party of 8. Each couple had their own private ensuite which was wonderful considering that that option isn't always available. The location was within walking distance to the downtown shops and steps away from the Algonquin Resort. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we would have needed and more. We loved the original features of the home and the modern touches as well. It's such a charming place and we definitely plan to return.
