This place is great and Daniel was an excellent host. I would definitely recommend this place.

This spot was perfect for my family! It was easy to find, private and was in pristine condition. The hot tub was fantastic and the large porch was a great bonus as well! Kayla was very, very quick to respond to any inquiry which I was so appreciate of! The kids loved exploring the property.

Beautiful surroundings, comfortable cabin, and Dennis was extremely helpful and had great communication and prompt responses.

We were visiting the area and the Airpark which is just down the road. The cabin was exactly as described, cozy!!! Quiet area and beautiful views. Make sure to grab the walking sticks, drive to the end of the road and take the small hike to the river! Look forward to coming back in the near future

Maco’s place was absolutely stunning! It was super comfortable and clean. Very secluded and private with the gate code. Responsive and there if you need and not if you don’t. We unfortunately had to leave early due to a family emergency so we will be coming back to finish the trip. Highly recommended!! Oh and their dogs are super sweet and will most likely come to visit you!

Comfortable and spacious for our party of 6! All beds were comfortable and everyone slept great. We loved the fire pit, Blackstone grill, and hot tub. Plenty of extras (coffee, spices, trash bags, detergents, etc). I love an owner that allows furbabies as we don’t leave our dog behind. We hiked some awesome trails in Daniel Boone National Forest. A great getaway!

Great place!

Not a lot to do in Jamestown itself. Bring groceries as the closest legit grocery store is about 20ish minutes away one way. The cabin was cute and as pictured. Hot tub warmed up nicely and was very clean. Nice place for sure. Very quiet and remote.. there was another cabin but several hundred feet away and we never did see anyone come or go from it and you'll still feel alone so no worries. Just plan on driving quite a bit to find restaurants etc. The guidebook is very thorough... check it out.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is spotless, has everything, and is in a great location for accessing the park. A surprising must visit is with the horses, goats, chickens, dog and cat. You won’t bother anyone by visiting and the goats, horses and chickens will take you right to their treats. The dog will bring his stick right to you so you can toss it and he will fetch. Say “drop” and he will lay the stick ay your feet. Mayrene bakes a wonderful lemon poppy loaf and left us six farm fresh eggs. Really had a great time and if we are in the area again we will book with Jack and Mayrene.

The Chickencoop is amazing! Super clean, pup friendly and everything was as advertised. Brenda thought of every little detail, including a food and water bowl waiting for the dogs. We will definitely recommend this stay to anyone in the Abingdon or Damascus area.

This cabin is a little slice of Heaven! Big South Fork National park is breathtaking! Leane goes the extra mile and then some! We were pleasantly surprised to see all the extras she provides. We roasted hot dogs and had s’mores around the fire pit with our granddaughter thanks to the things Leane provided. This cabin is peaceful, beautiful and checks all the boxes. The beds are comfortable and the entire place feels like home! Thank you Leane for all your recommendations and for making our stay at your cabin an amazing get-away!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for the week of New Years. We wanted to get away from everything for the new year and celebrate with just the 2 of us. This property provided exactly what we were looking for. You can still see the effects from the hurricane but you can see how hard they are working to get everything back to normal but nonetheless the property is still beautiful and peaceful. We are already discussing to come back in the spring or summer to experience this beautiful property in the summer. I highly recommend anyone stay here.

We loved our stay at Little Bear cabin. Even nicer than pictured. Tastefully decorated. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals. Very peaceful. Appreciated the firewood delivery option. All the little touches made this the perfect long weekend retreat for us and our pup. Thank you!

We needed a last minute place in the area and this place was perfect and fit our needs for the evening .was clean comfy and cozy…the traffic noise is no difference than a hotel stay off the highway

Gene and Bunny were amazing from the start of our reservation until the morning we left. The location was amazing. Peaceful, remote and beautiful it was exactly what we needed coming from high stress jobs, the perfect Get away. The only regret we have is that we couldn’t stay longer. For the fishermen in anyone, the fishing was awesome in the pond on sight, huge blue gill one after another to be caught and wild life all around from dear to ducks to even a cow walking up the driveway on the way to the store one early afternoon. There is nothing negative to be said about this place at all, especially if you love nature and the Pure untouched beauty of the Mountains. We will surely come back again to the COZY CABIN IN THE MOUNTAINS.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Workman cabin. Its such a beautiful place and very clean. The bed is also comfortable which is super important imo. Larry's homemade wine is the best!

Great value and very friendly owners...on a pretty creek and firewood provided. Right next to the trails however it is on a main road. The back is very private.

Great cozy place to stay

We went for the rustic cabin experience and were pleasantly surprised by a heated toilet seat. With the devastating hurricane prior to our stay, Patricia graciously offered us a no charge cancellation. We appreciated the offer and constant updates and communication.

Excellent experience! Our host Woodrow was gracious and friendly, quickly responding to our same day request and ensuring the cabin was warm and inviting. The space was clean and had everything we needed. Check in and check out was easy and they offered thoughtful details that made it cozy. Would definitely stay again - highly recommend!

Place was just what we needed. Nice quiet spot to stay and relax. Close to the trials. We will definitely be back.

We stayed four nights to ride Hatfield McCoy trails and it was absolutely perfect. Check in was super easy the place was exactly like the photos showed and was close to the trails. Can’t say enough how helpful the host was on being able to get directions and where to turn around at. We will definitely be back in the spring.

My girlfriend and I took a last minute trip to cruise down to see Cumberland Falls. Unfortunately we got caught in the rain on our motorcycle and ended up staying here. The hosts were very nice and would 10/10 recommend for anyone! Can’t beat the price nor the scenery!
