Second visit to the barn and loved it even though I had to leave earlier than planned, fab location with lovely walks , will definitely be booking again.

If you’re staying in York, England you cannot go wrong staying at this cozy home. Wonderful location, relaxing home, beautiful surroundings and wonderful guests. My highest recommendation. You will not be disappointed.

We're just back from a few days staying in Matthew's place in Hull: it's a wonderful house in an amazing location down by the river and in among the cafes, galleries, restaurants, and shops of Humber Street. There's so much to see and do around there, and the house itself was perfect: quiet, comfortable, and with everything we needed for our stay. Matthew was really welcoming and friendly and made us feel right at home. We would definitely go back next time we're in the area.

The house was in an great location, town centre is a 5 minute walk away. Home was lovely and stocked up with things for tea/coffee and more. Hosts communication was clear and consistent and it was easy to check in. Parking was sorted by our hosts and they organised this in advance of our visit. We loved the small touches such as extra plugs in bedrooms and books or leaflets about York. We would highly recommend to anyone visiting York, and would look to stay here again!

Absolutely adore Gill and Andy’s place. It just feels like home. Perfect location for us to visit friends, the pub. Nice walk to the cliffs where the views are stunning. Beautiful and clean and the private garden for the dogs is perfect. We’ve already booked for New Year

Lovely, cosy home, exactly as described and pictured. Kind and helpful host. Great location, across from an excellent supermarket, and just a stroll from the center of town, with the city walls and York Minster and The Shambles.

Had an amazing stay at York, which made my family and I felt just right at home. Conveniently located at a peaceful estate with a 10min walk to the city centre. Rachel was very responsive and tried her best to accommodate to our needs. The kitchen and bathroom were very clean and well equipped with whatever we need. The linen (hotel grade towels) are clean (I usually don't trust Airbnb towels but this was trustable). The beds were super comfortable, especially the master bedroom one. Even though the house was very old, it still feels very cozy and comfortable. Highly recommended if you are planning to stay in York! 5/5!! ✨

We have absolutely loved Hedgehog cottage from the minute we arrived. So quiet and peaceful. Immaculately clean and nothing has gone unthought of. Dog blankets for the pooch, shower gels for the humans and even softener/ wash etc. we have extended our stay even longer as this is the perfect spot for us! The Sunday dinner at bricklayers is to die for and the fish and chips! We have yet to try pie night though!! Just the nicest hosts and always on hand to answer questions. Really comfy beds and loads of clean bedding etc in cupboard! 13/10

My family and I have stayed in many Airbnbs before but I have to say that this one was by far the cleanest. Kate and Phillipa’s caravan was bright, squeaky clean and extremely homely, this continued throughout the entire caravan. Not a trace of dust or dirt anywhere. Everything was spotless. We were greeted with a wonderful welcome basket, which instantly set things off to a good start. Freshly washed and pressed bedding(hotel style) was laid out on each bed ready for us to make. The heating was easy to locate with clear instructions of how to operate on the boiler. Connecting to the local Wi-Fi was also a breeze. Overall I was very pleased with Kate and Phillipa’s cleanliness and attention to detail, which added to our lovely family staycation 😊

We had a lovely stay at Vanessa's caravan. Lovely welcome note and basket of treats to welcome us - the kids were so excited! The bedding was warm and beds were comfortable. Vanessa was really helpful and responsive to messages. She even kindly posted something we had left behind back to our home city. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We had a comfortable and cozy break at Charlotte's Cottage. The grounds were the beautiful and perfect for our dog!

Had a really lovely eater wknd. The lodge was spacious light and airy, the decor was really nice, and very clean. We had a very comfortable peaceful stay. The lodge was only a short walk to the main complex, & was really easy to access all the entertainment without having to book 1st which we found alot easier with the kids

Great location. Would have been nice to have been informed that the pool, bar and restaurant have been closed since May due to a fire

Thank you for a great stay! Immaculately clean, with fresh bedding and towels. Bathrooms spotless and live that there are two bathrooms. Water pressure fabulous with lovely hot shower. Kitchen well equipped with utensils, pans, tea towels, cleaning products etc. gas cooker and everything in great working order. Heaters excellent and whole place cosy even though temp dropped at dusk. Would absolutely recommend and we’ll be back. Thanks for a great stay 😊

A very pleasant stay, right on the coastline and so close to lots of beautiful places to visit.

We had a brilliant 1 night stay here! Really clean and spacious, lovely garden area and the pool table in the room was great! We will be booking again soon!

Irenes place is great plenty of outside space for summer months and because of its position very private and tucked away! Love the little snug for reading😀

Fantastic and extremely clean stay! Lynne greeted us on arrival and made us feel right at home. A very detailed instruction pack was provided which made it easy to know how to use the various appliances in the kitchen and rooms. The location is so peaceful and feels very secure, and the accommodation itself was so cosy and comfortable. Would definitely recommend for any future stays!

Francis was such a lovely host. He was very attentive and made sure we had everything for our stay. The accommodation was very clean, had all the facilities and was ideally located for our stay. Francis left us clear instructions to check in/out and during our stay and his communication was great. Would highly recommend a stay at Francis's place and cannot thank you enough for our lovely stay!

Lovely relaxing stay. Loved the hot tub. Great walks and lovely restaurant in the village. Spotless accommodation. We will return.
