Great for families with a lot to do at the place. Playing pool, getting in the hot tub, and sitting by the campfire were the most popular with the kids!

Such a beautiful property! The house was very clean, lots of space, and a fun game room. Kyle was easy to communicate with and responsive! We plan to book another trip soon!

Our big family stayed at Blue Lady for the weekend of our daughter’s wedding. It was such a unique, historic house and it will always be an important part of our memories from this special event. The house was clean and comfortable and so, so big. Every amenity we wanted or needed was available and the hosts had a basket of snacks and drinks waiting for us on arrival. Despite the stifling heat outside, the a/c worked perfectly and the house stayed very cool. Great communication from the hosts and they sent someone over within minutes to replace a few light bulbs upon our request. We highly recommend Blue Lady for your large group’s visit to Dubuque. We certainly hope to be back!

This was my second time staying at one of Phil’s properties. He is an amazing host with a great attention to detail and very responsive for any question that arise during your stay!

This place was exactly what we were looking for. We had a group of 9 coming from different cities, all meet at this beautiful location. Check-in was flawless and the entire house was spotless when we arrived. There was plenty of space to accommodate our entire group and we immediately felt right at home. The scenery was absolutely gorgeous. We enjoyed time on the deck in front of the gas fire as well as the spacious fire pit just off the house. The yard was plenty big for games and although we had beautiful weather during our trip, we had a big theatre room to ourselves when we wanted some inside time. Our host was very helpful from start to finish. We always got a quick response and he worked with us to make sure our trip was special. We highly recommend this spot and would love to come back someday.

It’s a beautiful house with a great character. We were a big party coming from out of town and it was nice to have a place where we all could stay together. The host were very accommodating and responded quickly. The house is well kept and updated. This house is in downtown area and walking distance from the farmers market and other tourist spots. We will definitely use one of their property again

I stayed here over a long weekend with friends (3 families together). The place was super clean, very comfortable and adequately stocked for the number of people we had. The host was very thoughtful about making sure we had everything we needed for our time there. The kids also enjoyed all the entertainment The property is also in a beautiful location

Danesa was a fantastic host and was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. The Cliffside Cottage was everything the listing said it would be and more. Not only was the house gorgeous, but the layout was so well thought out and gave our party of 9 plenty of space to enjoy without being on top of each other. The highlight of the house was the screened in porch. It was truly such a peaceful place to sit and listen to the birds or to watch the rain come down without any pesty bugs or mosquitos. We could have spent hours and hours sitting there enjoying the incredible views while enjoying each others company. Other highlights included the well stocked kitchen (truly everything you could need and more), the location (close enough to enjoy Galena, but far enough away to feel as if you are the only ones around for miles) and the outdoor space which was perfect for fires and stargazing. We truly loved this house and would love to come back one day to experience it in a different season.

John's cabin was great for our group. It was easy to find and so quiet and peaceful. The beds were so comfortable and everyone enjoyed our stay.

Couldn't have asked for more. Fantastic property and a responsive, friendly host. He even reached out to offer early check-in. We'll be back! From the wife: One of the best stays we’ve had! The host was super responsive—when our kids lost a ball, Kevin showed up with 2 new ones AND chalk. The cabin was spotless, with cozy couches, blackout curtains, comfy beds, & blankets everywhere. We loved the smart fridge for music, strong Wi-Fi, & the heated toilet seat (game changer!). Shower had great pressure, towels were plush & smelled amazing & the AC kept us cool. Porch felt like a villa in Costa Rica, especially in the rain. Early check-in, a generous welcome gift & even dog bags for our pups. Massage chair, grill, and space to spread out—we will DEFINITELY be back again, next time without our crazy children!

I visited Linda's place with a big group of friends including three kiddos and it was absolutely perfect! Plenty of space for everyone and a ton of things to do on the property. The location was easy to get to and close to the downtown Galena area. The pictures really don't do the house justice. It's beautiful with a lot of space. Leading up the trip and during I had several questions. Responses always came super quickly (usually under 5 minutes). She was a delight to talk to worked to make sure our trip went perfectly. I'd highly recommend this property to anyone looking to visit the Galena area. Everyone in my group would 100% return.

This was the only Airbnb that was available the date we needed so we were forced to choose it however, we were not disappointed! It felt like home and was so spacious. Two extremely large bathrooms with 4 bedrooms! The living room was plenty large enough for four people to watch a movie at the end of our evening and the hot tub was clean and worked perfectly! We will definitely be booking again in the future and were very satisfied with our stay!

Avaid was a great and accommodating host. The usage of the GTA owners club was great. The house was clean and well kept. I would stay there again, however the house was not as well equipped for cooking compared to other homes I have stayed in. If you enjoy mostly restaurant dining, you will be in great shape.

Jennifer was a great host and very communicative. We appreciated the little gift of ready to use local coffee and sweets after a long travel day! The house was simply incredible. Very nicely maintained historic home, complete with air conditioning (a must in Iowa in the summer)!

This was our second time staying here and it was wonderful. Always a pleasure, the hosts are great and very responsive. The house is perfect for a getaway in Galena with tons to do, and just minutes from downtown.

We ended up having the perfect family reunion here! There was more space than expected for us - we loved the open floor plan around the kitchen which looked out into the forest. We even saw some wildlife pass through down there while drinking our coffee in the morning. There was lots to do - the adults enjoyed playing pool at the house and the kids had fun using the pool at the owners club. We all loved being out in nature and hiking the local trails! The host had good recommendations and was responsive and accommodating. Would recommend for a getaway!

We had a great time at Mara’s place! It was peaceful and beautiful. The kids had a lot of fun at the communal pool- it was so cute and perfect for all ages. The house was as described, the game room was so fun, and the beds were super comfy! The hot tub and porch swing were so relaxing! One thing to note- Mara said in the description that toiletries are not provided so make sure to bring shampoo and conditioner with you. We had a great time and would love to come back again! I highly recommend this place to anyone!!

We stayed here for a sister getaway and had a blast exploring the area. This home was a perfect spot to spend time relaxing together. It was super cozy and had everything we needed!

My girlfriends and I spent a long weekend enjoying this amazing house. It was exactly as shown in the photos and spotless. When we had an issue with the screen door Michelle was extremely responsive and had the handyman there within the hour to help us. The house and property are beautiful including anything and everything you could need. It's super close to the pool (although we did drive because it was exceptionally hot) with only a short drive to town. The hot tub was awesome to enjoy at night while being able to view tons of stars. The property felt secluded despite being so close to pool/town. We are already looking forward to staying again next year!

This is our second time staying in one of Felicia's properties and we were not disappointed. The property is huge and has everything you need. My parents loved the massage chairs and hit tub. My husband loved the gaming room. And I loved the peace and quiet of it all. It was a wonderful getaway. Already recommended to my family. Wonderful spot for a family getaway.

Stayed here for a girl’s trip! The home is lovely. The game room downstairs was a blast. The deck in back was perfect for drinks and conversation at night and calm morning coffee in the morning! Todd is quick to respond if anything is needed. Would definitely go back

Tiffany was a kind and communicative host. We enjoyed our time here and the boys golfed all weekend at surrounding golf courses. The place was incredibly clean and well appointed. Lots of space for us to hang and play cards at night and we enjoyed playing in the yard one afternoon as well. It’s a place away from it all. Thanks for having us.
