Brew some coffee and step out into a tiered hillside garden and have a seat on deck patio of this enchanting hideaway. Note: the TV is an Apple TV to be used with your subscriptions. The studio is the entire bottom floor of a 3 story house. It has its own separate access through the garden and is completely private from the rest of the house. A bathroom, kitchenette, dining/study area are included within your studio space. Laundry and Apple TV available upon request. Garden space and access is shared. Enjoy the deck and outdoor dining and lounging facilities as well as a gorgeous sunset view of LA. The entire bottom floor of the house is yours. Garden access is shared, as are the laundry machines in the main house. We are available at all times by phone, text or email. Bordering the neighborhoods of Eagle Rock and Highland Park, the area has an understated charm and offers an array of vibrant restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. Old Town Pasadena, a retail hub with charming eateries, is a short drive away. It is a 0.4 mile distance to the nearest bus stop on La Loma and Figueroa. (about a 10 minute walk from the apartment) The 81 Bus can take you to the Gold Line Metro in Highland Park in less than 15 min. The Gold Line runs between Pasadena and Downtown, where you can transfer to other trains. Please let us know if you would like an Apple TV set up for your arrival or at any point during your stay.

The yard is very lush with native oaks and flowers and there is a designated area for guests. We are located 2 blocks from the main boulevard which has many shops and restaurants. Just leave the car and walk to dinner.

This place is better than the photos! Super clean. Parking is easy & safe. The home is clustered next to 2 others but we never heard them or anything negative. You are not allowed to lower the AC below 77 degrees (there’s a note that the coils will freeze). So in hot hot summer that may be an issue staying there. We stayed in early June and it was totally fine. We’d definitely stay there again. It’s perfectly located between eagle rock and Pasadena. The neighborhood is super charming with old time street lights. The driveway is steep. The bedroom is large. We brought our toddlers slumperpod and sleeping pad which fit no problem. Didn’t have to rearrange anything. The place has pretty views too. We felt very safe there.

My husband and I really enjoyed our month's long stay at Carlos's place. We loved the sunny balcony and the secluded, quiet location. Easy street parking, responsive host, location close to restaurants and shopping. Nice bed linens and towels. Lots of hot water and water pressure. We hope to return in the future!

Great little studio apartment with private entrance. Super clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. The neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet but within walking distance of some great restaurants.

This was my second stay at the Archer- I loved it so much I came back! It has all the pieces of a perfect Airbnb- beautiful place, excellent location, lovely hosts, and high end finishes. The Airbnb is gorgeously done, comfortable with all the amenities you’d need! It’s a small cozy size but having access to the back garden doubles the size of the living space (especially in LA when outdoors are as comfortable as indoors most of the year)! It’s walking distance to many coffee shops, restaurants, and 2 different shopping streets (York & Figueroa), and Highland Park is one of my favorite places to stay in LA. Quiet, family neighborhood, easily accessible to the interstate- absolutely perfect. The hosts are lovely and responsive but give space and privacy - the best host combo! What a winning Airbnb ❤️
