Less than a 2-mile drive to downtown Stowe, this home is on a hill just off Route 100. Nearby Von Trapp is full of restaurants and other amenities. Ski and snowboard from Stowe Mountain Resort 9 miles away, with picturesque hiking in the summer. I would highly recommend a four wheel or all wheel drive vehicle. House is on a hill with a pretty steep road leading to it.

The Brookside Cabin

Our Cabin is nestled in the woods of the Adirondack Mountains. The Cabin is behind our family home. We are on a country road close to two towns. Our area offers many amenities such as fishing, hiking, boating, golf, hunting , wine tasting, leaf peeping. The cabin is heated by a wood stove and is the only heat source. “Wood Stove will injure a small child. Fast moving water in brook. Children 7 and up is ok with pre approval. The outside shower is heated, hot water available mid April -Nov.

Dan & Holly were absolutely wonderful hosts! The place was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had such a fresh, clean scent throughout — everything smelled amazing! You can tell they put a lot of care and thought into making the space warm and welcoming. We felt right at home from the moment we walked in. Highly recommended — would definitely stay again!

I have stayed in a many rental properties over the years and I have never had a kitchen so loaded with everything a cook could ask for - very helpful! Amazing views and a 20 minute drive to Jay - just a great experience. The property is on a dirt road, which is no joke. Make sure you have the right vehicle for Vermont mud season and you will have the time of your life. Highly recommended!

We had a great last minute weekend get together with my brother-in-law and sister-in-law at Anna’s place. It was just the right amount of space for two couples, with a bedroom and bathroom on the lower level, kitchen, bathroom and living space on the main floor, and a bedroom on the top floor. The kitchen was stocked well. Would love to come back and enjoy the outdoor space in the warm weather!

Our family of four had a great stay at this condo in Stowe during the holidays. Photos are accurate and it was nice to have the two single beds for the kids. The condo is located on a quiet street, but still close to downtown Stowe and a short drive to the ski slopes (15-20 minutes depending on weather and traffic). Everyone loved the gas fireplace! The owner also emails helpful information about the condo and Stowe area. We hope to stay here again in the future.

Erika's welcome to the Adirondacks home was a perfect fit for our family with mixed ages, interests and needs. The space was clean and comfortable with cozy elements that complimented the easy to control temperature inside no matter what Mother Nature tossed in our direction outside. Her home was well equipped with a marvelous handbook listing activities we would have access to in the area as well as how to work everything in the home from the TV to the firepits. We especially enjoyed knowing our four legged family member(large dog) was welcome. The location was ideal for enjoying outdoor activities and wrapping up the day with a nice meal or stroll in town.

This has to be one of our FAVORITE stays! Mathew’s place was in the most perfect location, super close to Lake Placid, and beautiful surroundings. The barn felt like home, super cozy and extremely clean, had everything we needed. We got a lot of snow morning we were leaving, and Mathew was kind enough to ensure the driveway was plowed before we left for our safety. Great host and great stay, will definitely be coming back!
