Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Dungog Shire Council

We had a lovely stay at the tiny home. We commented numerous times how relaxed we felt coming away from our stay. Secluded on the riverfront, the view was stunning. The house itself was spotless and well appointed and pet friendly. Only 40 minutes from Newcastle is incredible! The hosts were very helpful and made us feel like the space was all ours. Due to recent rains the drive down to the house would have been difficult in my small car, but im sure the hosts would have helped with getting down if we didn't have a second larger vehicle. We have stayed at other tiny homes where the natural toilet system was onerous, but this was much better and no mal odour throughout the house. Breakfast in the morning was a lovely addition, super easy to cook on the stovetop and plenty of lovely spots to sit for a drink. Some more condiments like butter / tomato sauce would have been great for brekky but not a big deal. Looking forward to staying again soon.

We loved this stay! It was perfect for a large group. Unbelievable views and great seclusion. Everything looked better in person. Super clean and homey!

Amazing house in beautiful remote location. Description is honest - it’s a little rustic, but myself, my wife, mother in law and 3 young kids had an awesome stay. Will likely stay there again. Loved the views and vibe. Could be tricky to get to after extended heavy rain.

This last-minute weekend getaway was an unexpected delight in a peaceful setting. Every comfort was thoughtfully accommodated within an atmospheric cottage maintained to a high standard. Animalia provided charming entertainment - cattle over the road, free-range guinea fowl, vibrant birdlife - just what was needed! Couldn't fault it. Keen to return (with friends next time) to renew old acquaintances.

Lovely property with everything we needed, a spacious yard for the pups, and Eloise was very responsive and helpful during our stay. Would recommend to anyone looking to get out of the city and be amongst nature for a few days :)

I had an absolutely incredible stay at this Airbnb! The location is a true paradise, surrounded by breathtaking nature and stunning landscapes. Waking up to the sounds of birds and the sight of lush greenery was a dream come true. The presence of wild fauna added an extra touch of magic—spotting wildlife in their natural habitat was an unforgettable experience. The accommodation itself was perfect—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. Every detail was well taken care of, making my stay seamless and relaxing. The host was incredibly welcoming, and provided great recommendations to explore the area. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat in the heart of nature, this is the place to be. Peppercorn’s was a fantastic location for our family water ski weekend. The accommodation was perfect for our large family, very flexible with bedding options. The kitchen is so well equipped which made cooking and catering for large groups so easy!

We absolutely loved our stay at Magnolia Poolhouse! It’s exactly how it described and looks. Beautiful surrounds and just so peaceful. We enjoyed the pool and spa and pool house felt like a home away from home, with everything you need and more! I already miss it! Maggie is such a great host and is very lovely and accomodating. She made sure that the fridge and pantry were stocked with staple items and even some yummy treats (and asked our preference of our type of bread/milk). She left a note with her number, help light a fire in the fire pit, took us on a farm tour, which the kids and us really enjoyed! She took the kids for their first horse ride and I also got to jump on and have one for myself. Truly the best Airbnb stay I’ve had! And I will definitely be back! 1000/10! Recommend! Loved every bit of it!

We were looking for accommodation for one night in a peaceful setting amongst beautiful natural surroundings. We found Cate’s place, and it was the perfect fit for us. We loved the peace and tranquility, and we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the incredible sunken spa bath. We woke up to wallabies outside and enjoyed our barista coffee and a beautiful breakfast on the deck, joined by some lovely and vocal kookaburras. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and well-maintained, which is very important to me. If you're looking for a peaceful spot surrounded by nature, this is a great choice. The host was also very easy to contact and responsive throughout our stay. Overall, a wonderful experience!

We really enjoyed stay at tiny tree ten , The peaceful surroundings, fresh air, and stunning simplicity of the space made for a perfect getaway. Robert's place was absolutely perfect! Peaceful surroundings but still an easy walk to shops and restaurants. The location right near the mountain bike trails couldn't have been better. The views were stunning and we really appreciated those thoughtful touches like the Easter hot cross buns. Being able to bring our cat along made the stay even more special - she spent hours watching birds through the big sliding doors! A brilliant spot for a relaxing getaway where everything you need is right at your fingertips.

Bundera Lodge was great for a short holiday getaway. Wonderful views across the valley, peaceful surroundings, and most importantly a great coffee machine :) Tim was really helpful and gave clear instructions. Everything in the lodge was in the right place and was working. The kitchen was well-stocked and had a variety of pots, pans, and appliances for cooking up a feast. Thanks so much!

Lovely mid-week stay. Check in super easy, place had everything we needed. Large well fenced yard to keep our dogs secured. 10/10 - would stay again.
