Hunter Valley, NSW - Cadair Cottage 2

Ann-KathrinRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed at Cadair Cottage 2 for two nights. It is such a beautiful place, and we had the most wonderful, relaxing time in pristine surroundings! Bonus: the cows come wandering past every morning. Simone will respond very quickly to any messages/requests. We also did the wine tour with Dan, which was 100% amazing! Had a great time, Dan is an excellent tour guide and knows an incredible amount about wine. Goes above and beyond, and is just an all-round lovely guy. Thank you so much for having us, Simone & Dan! If I could, I would have loved to stay here forever.

St Helena River Retreat - The Dairy

CatherineRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We loved our stay at St Helena. The Dairy is so beautiful and cozy. We loved having the fireplace going and took advantage of the outdoor bath under the lights and stars. The location is a bit of a drive but’s it’s such stunning country well worth it. The hosts were away but that made no difference they had everything covered. The little touches were much appreciated and you can tell the renovation of the farm buildings has been lovingly done with care. Thank you and we highly recommend for a quiet and relaxing stay.

"The Magnolia Park Poolhouse"

EmilyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Maggie was the perfect host and her pool house was perfect. It had everything you need for a weekend away and more! Although the pool house is right next to her main residence it still feels completely private. We didn’t hear or see them throughout our stay except for when we arranged to meet Maggie as she offered to take us to feed her cows. Was so peaceful waking up and seeing the mist over the paddocks and going for a strolls to pat the horses. Then coming back in the afternoon and relaxing in the hot tub and having a bbq. We will definitely be back. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

Farm Stay Halee Park MAITLAND

MatthewRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A fantastic little granny flat on a beautiful, well kept property. The place is perfect for those only needing two bedrooms but don't want to sacrifice the size of living space. The dining, living and deck area were great for our family (toddler running around) and would be good for a group of adults or a family with bigger kids. A couple beers, milk and juice in the fridge was also nice to arrive to. Our toddler and baby loved meeting the two very friendly horses and the owner let our toddler get into the tractor which he LOVED.
Rolling hills stretch across the landscape, featuring patches of golden grasses under a wide, cloudy sky. Distant mountains are visible, providing a serene backdrop to the natural scenery, with trees dotting the foreground.

The house itself was cozy and well maintained, with all amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. The large windows and outdoor heating jacuzzi made it easy to soak in the beauty of the surroundings. The host were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed. They provided a thorough information and instructions which made out stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this country house for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life abd enjoy some peace and tranquility in a beautiful setting.

St Helena River Retreat - Farm Stay

DeborahRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I am lost for words on how beautiful this property truly is. From the moment we made the booking, Catherine guided us to the perfect getaway and made us feel so welcome. When opening the door to our accommodation, a fresh scent of linen and flowers filled the air, the decor was gentle, relaxed and pristine. There is nothing that has not been thought of, from a fireplace ready to light, an outdoor bath ready to fill, that sits under a gorgeous fig tree dappled with fairy lights, a luxurious bathroom with special touches and a comfy bed to melt into at the end of the day. The location was perfect for us, with the beautiful wildlife that surrounds the farm, swims in the river, leisurely walks with so many photo opportunities, top picnic spots and great advantage points to watch the sunset. Thank you so much for having us, a truly memorable trip, we can't wait to come back.

Roscrea Homestead - Premier Homestead

AnnaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We had a great stay at Roscrea Homestead, for the second year in a row. We have 8 adults and 7 children between us, so having 6 bedrooms, each with their own en-suite is perfect! The massive garden, sand-pit and pool are really handy, as is the separate living room. And that wonderful verandah for trike riding. The kitchen is big and well set-up, has everything you need for a short (or longer) getaway. And lovely to have two large dining tables (one indoor, one outdoor) for communal meals together. Would return again!
The exterior of the farmstay features a single-story structure with a light-colored facade and a sloped roof. A grassy area surrounds the home, complemented by flower beds. Sitting areas and a satellite dish are visible, along with a gentle backdrop of hills and a cloudy sky.

Kingaley Farmstay Dungog

KristenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
What an amazing place! We just came back from 5 wonderful days here, and you instantly feel relaxed and at peace. The house itself is clean and cozy. The mixture of art and ornaments is stunning, so eclectic. The fireplace was well used, and the beautiful horses we fell in love with. Fishing was had down on the river, walks around the property, hide and seek, backyard cricket, marshmallows around the fire pit. It’s a 10 minute drive into Dungog and a little under an hour to Jerusalem walking track at Barrington Tops. Kids had a ball! It’s the perfect getaway. Thank you Toni and Murray for your hospitality. We will be back!
