Farmstay vacation rentals in Dungog Shire Council

A great location and had a great couple of days with the wife and dog, would be happy to come back. Probably my fault, but I thought the place was fenced in, but was on the owners driveway that was open to the road, so just needed to keep an eye on the dog if outside the designated dog area.

Stayed here over Christmas Break with my little family (2 under 2years old) & they absolutely loved it. It was great to be away from the chaos of the city & to be in-tune with nature. Lots to do - Interested to know what's it's like in Winter xx

House was set out extremely well, warm and comfortable. Kitchen was great and we cooked up a really nice bake dinner on the Sunday to enjoy the football, only con for us was no wifi

Lovely mid-week stay. Check in super easy, place had everything we needed. Large well fenced yard to keep our dogs secured. 10/10 - would stay again.

Our stay in The Dairy at St Helena River Retreat was incredible, the view of the river and surroundings mountains was breathtaking. The accommodation was immaculately clean and beautifully presented with comfy beds. Our family of four enjoyed exploring the Upper Allyn area during the day and fireplace, outdoor bath and fire pit during the evening. Catherine was friendly, easy to communicate with and provided us with plenty of helpful information. I would highly recommend the St Helena experience, we can’t wait to return.

Absolutely loved our return stay at Peppercorn Farm! We were a group of 8 adults & 8 kids (3yrs & under) and absolutely felt at home! Everything was so easy, the house has everything you need and the communication with the hosts was great. Highly recommend and hopefully we will be back for a 3rd time in the future!

We absolutely loved our stay at Magnolia Poolhouse! It’s exactly how it described and looks. Beautiful surrounds and just so peaceful. We enjoyed the pool and spa and pool house felt like a home away from home, with everything you need and more! I already miss it! Maggie is such a great host and is very lovely and accomodating. She made sure that the fridge and pantry were stocked with staple items and even some yummy treats (and asked our preference of our type of bread/milk). She left a note with her number, help light a fire in the fire pit, took us on a farm tour, which the kids and us really enjoyed! She took the kids for their first horse ride and I also got to jump on and have one for myself. Truly the best Airbnb stay I’ve had! And I will definitely be back! 1000/10! Recommend! Loved every bit of it!

Very comfortable and clean farm stay. Warm welcoming from Alan and his wife as well as a very lovely dog ‘ Buster’. We appreciate a lot for the freshly baked bread and the egg. Our kids were so happy and love the house very much. Hope to visit again

Lisa’s house was absolutely perfect for our extended family. 7 adults & 2 toddlers. We felt very at home as soon as we arrived. The house has everything we needed. The location was perfect, the kids loved looking at the horses, ducks & nearby goats. The distance to a family wedding was ok and grabbing a coffee at Paterson or Vacy was easy. Lisa was fabulous to deal with, very quick response time & very helpful. I would recommend a stay at Lisa’s it was great.

Me and my 4 other Taekwondo crew (we are from Sydney) had the pleasure staying at this charming house, and it was an amazing experience! The house itself was cozy and well maintained, with all amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. The large windows and outdoor heating jacuzzi made it easy to soak in the beauty of the surroundings. The host were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed. They provided a thorough information and instructions which made out stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this country house for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life abd enjoy some peace and tranquility in a beautiful setting.

we stayed at the Banjo's for two nights over the Christmas weekend. Couldn't have asked for a better place for a relaxing holiday. The place was very clean with all the amenities as mentioned. Would definitely recommend following the instructions given by Jenny and Malcolm to get to the place. The communication was easy and clear instructions. We really enjoyed the recreational area with all the facilities. would definitely recommend the place for a relaxing and quiet holiday.

We had a great stay at Roscrea Homestead, for the second year in a row. We have 8 adults and 7 children between us, so having 6 bedrooms, each with their own en-suite is perfect! The massive garden, sand-pit and pool are really handy, as is the separate living room. And that wonderful verandah for trike riding. The kitchen is big and well set-up, has everything you need for a short (or longer) getaway. And lovely to have two large dining tables (one indoor, one outdoor) for communal meals together. Would return again!

Oh, how serene! We loved our stay here, everything was so comfortable and clean. The surrounds were just idyllic and we enjoyed spending time on the deck with the golden afternoon sun glittering through the trees. Super comfy beds, spacious kitchen and living area, great big shower, and on top of all that it was whisper quiet! Lots of birds visiting, too. We loved it and will be back for sure. Our stay in Sugarloaf was peaceful and relaxing, just what we needed! The space was even larger than we expected and the view of the hills in the early morning are just beautiful. Casey & Michael provided great suggestions of things to do, and the property is just a short drive to the local town of Dungog. Definitely recommend to future travellers.

Great place. Lots of space, perfect for a quiet getaway. Covered back area perfect for a cuppa watching the animals or reading a book.

It was fantastic to be at Jane's property once again, it's a cozy place with a family atmosphere. The owners are wonderful people. I recommend it to anyone who wants to relax, go for a walk and loves contact with nature.

We spent Christmas here with 10 adults. The place is stunning. Great for entertaining, very relaxing. The host was very prompt with communication. Would recommend and happy to stay here again.

What a beautiful place and property! Very homely and lots of space !! Plenty of room to ride bikes and loads of beautiful duck/ goose birds to interact with. Also baby ducks to see. Plenty of items in the kitchen to use.. Very clean and dust free inside which is great with dust allergies.. Hosts were friendly and responable instantaneously to questions.. Definitely worth the stay and memorable!!
