Family House by the sea

KellyRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We loved this home. This little seaside village is an adorable part of Dublin! It’s lovely to stroll the walkways and green spaces along the sea and there are bikes available at the rental! We loved all the little shops, pubs and cafes from Blackrock to Dalkey. Our 4 year old was able to burn off some jet lag on the scooter, swing and on the slide. I wish the rain had held off a bit to enjoy it all more but we did appreciate the amenities for children. There were puzzles, books and stools exactly where you want them when you have a small child. The only inconvenience was that 90% of bedroom closet, kitchen/bathroom cabinet space was unusable. They were either locked or filled to the brim with owner’s personal belongings. We were staying for 5days but traveling for 5wks so it didn’t allow us to unpack comfortably. There was nowhere available to put our toiletries in the bathroom so had to live out of the suitcase quite a bit
not the end of the world- otherwise, our stay was wonderful!

Stylish South Dublin 2 bed home

We enjoyed our stay here. Each double bedroom had its own bathroom and there was a third toilet downstairs. The kitchen appliances were high quality. The whole place was high quality furniture and plumbing. The showers were great. Awesome place. I would stay here again and again.

Hidden gem in heart of Dalkey

DefneRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A very charming home in a great location! The house was very clean, exactly as advertised and Phoebe had even left a little Easter surprise for my daughter. The check in was very easy and any questions I had were very quickly answered, I honestly have nothing bad to say. A great place to stay to discover south Dublin and the city center is very easy to access with the dart which is a couple of minutes away.

The house is in a nice, quiet area and it’s only a five-minute walk to reach the nearest tram station to get into Dublin itself. The house was well-kept and a pleasure to stay at.

Luxury rustic retreat with hot tub in Glendalough

TaraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had the most amazing time. The accommodation is really like no other. Such a unique experience. I would highly recommend it. The bed was so comfortable, bathrooms so clean and spacious, and has a bath to die for. The battery operated lights around the inside of the house were a lovely touch. If you feel cool in the evenings the accommodation heats up within 20 minutes, so quick. The hot tub was a treat, the location of it is amazing, the fairy lights along the path to the hot tub was magical. The scenery is so beautiful regardless of the weather conditions. Location wise it was perfect, so close to all that glendalough has to offer. We ate in the Wicklow heather as recommended by Michael, this place will not disappoint. Michael was so cooperative and very friendly. I will definitely be back!!!!! You will not be disappointed đŸ„°

Phillip and Carol were fantastic hosts! They were flexible about our arrival, very clear with all instructions, and the house was lovely. It’s a very short walk to the sea, the DART, several fantastic restaurants, shops, wine stores, and more. We loved our time and would recommend it for anyone that wants city center access with a village feel.

Seafront Apartment in Sutton

DavidRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We loved Francis' place - perfect home-from-home, and great location for exploring the beautiful town & harbour at Howth, as well as Dublin itself. Great public transport, with a supermarket just 10 minutes walk away. We loved our sunset walks along the seafront opposite the apartment, and chilling on the big comfortable sofa afterwards. Francis also provided some very welcome snacks for when we arrived, and was very easy to communicate with before our stay. Would definitely recommend if you want a base for exploring but want to be able to get away from the hustle & bustle of the city.

Seaside Escape in Heritage Town Dalkey, Dublin.

DougRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Derina immediately connected with us months before we arrived. It was like having a friend in Ireland! Our goal for this trip was to do excursions around Dublin (we'd already seen Dublin itself on a previous trip). Access to DART made day trips possible (it's 12-15 minutes to-from the station). Dalkey is a wonderful community that made us feel like residents. Great pubs, restaurants, and their own castle. Derina's house is quiet, safe, and is also within walking distance of an upscale grocery/deli (Barnhill Stores). We really loved our stay!

Swallow's Rest Garden Apartment

KatieRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Family with kids stayed at Bridget’s for a week. When we arrived, Bridget greeted us out front with home-baked biscuits and bread and a fresh bowl of fruit. The home had a back patio which made it convenient for our kids to play outside. It was clutter free and easy to maintain cleanliness (especially with kids). It also had space in front of the unit to play and walk around in grass and with flowers. Bridget was kind and responsive throughout the trip. She provided us with a pack n play and high chair. She also had eating utensils for little kids available. The home was easy to feel comfortable in and we would certainly book again. Only heads up (that has nothing to do with the actual booking) is being prepared for winding roads leading to the Airbnb. Don’t ride in the back of the car if you have motion sickness.

Cosy 1 bed apt in south Dublin, sleeps 1-3

CharlieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Rosa was a most welcoming host. Her communication was excellent throughout from initial enquiry through booking to getting there. She even delayed her departure for her work so that she could welcome us personally after our train was delayed. We had everything we needed for our short stay and the guest manual was very informative too. If I could give it six stars I would. Thanks Rosa.

Cosy Den

AshleyRating, 5 starstoday
I absolutely loved my stay in the den! I love the location because the little bit outside of the busy city, but also very easily walkable. The access to the bus stations are also super easy. There is a Michelin star guide restaurant right down the road a 15 minute walk from there that was incredible. And Sinead and Jane we’re super responsive and gave fantastic instructions. If I come back to Dublin, I would definitely stay there!

Period home with outstanding beach views

RachellRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Beautiful home with fantastic views and easy access to walkable spaces. The lively (people and dogs walking and playing along the Strand) yet peaceful area is a welcome respite from the more population dense areas of Dublin. With a little advance planning you can easily walk to the DART, the beautiful restaurants and shops surrounding the green space nearby, or just stroll down the Strand and soak in the vibrant waterfront vibes. The host is friendly and offers so much helpful information prior to your arrival so you really can’t go wrong staying here. Bring earplugs for the road noise at night in the primary bedroom, but don’t let that deter you from this waterfront location.

Charming coastal cottage sleeps 4 in popular town

ClaireRating, 5 stars5 days ago
The cottage is in a superb location with beautiful views along the coastal path as you walk down to Greystones harbour 15 minutes away, alternatively you can take the path along the cliff top that leads the other way to Bray. Simon and his lovely wife, greeted us warmly and the cottage was spotlessly clean, spacious and well equipped, it was a great place to stay in and just as described - charming! Nestled between the Irish Sea and the Wicklow mountains (look out for the Great Sugar Loaf), we found Greystones an ideal base with lots of nice places to eat and drink, Chakra, Happy Pear and The Beach House amongst our favourites, and there are many things to see and do in this wonderful part of Ireland, on foot or in the car, there are also good transport links, including rail with trains on the half hour. We absolutely loved our stay in Simon's cottage and had a fantastic holiday at Greystones!
