We had a great stay at Higlanders View, The house the views and the host was just amazing. Everything we needed was there, Nice to have cleaners. Would go back anytime without a doubt.

We had a lovely weekend with friends at Hackle lodge. Everything was perfect and the peace and quiet was just what we needed. Angela is a lovely host who communicated easily and we knew exactly the procedure to follow with arrival/departure, even down to road conditions. Angela was very helpful and just a kind host. We will definitely be back as soon as we can! Thank you!

Perfect for Athletes doing a trainingcamp. Everything was perfect. Big and comfortable Beds. Fast and easy communication. And the Pizza oven ist a real Highlight. Can recommend

The house was neat and clean and had everything we needed, plus a lovely deck outside the kitchen where we had breakfast and lunch. Alex communicated really well and made checking in and out a breeze. :)

Such a great little spot. Very convenient in town and always very clean and neat.

We had a wonderful stay here. The host, Lafras, was excellent - very friendly but also really discrete. He was very helpful in answering any questions we had or sorting things we needed- nothing was too much trouble. The place has a fabulous view and is very peaceful. Although cold in the evenings due to the time of year, the fireplaces, electric blankets and loads of extra blankets and throws kept us cosy and warm. Our kids really enjoyed feeding the pigs, playing with the friendly dog and riding their bikes down the dirt road. And we had a great horse ride on the neighbouring farm. We would highly recommend the place for families looking for a place to unwind.

Peaceful, cozy home away from home. Hosts were amazing and the beds were so warm and comfortable.

Beautiful home that was perfect for our family which included a one year old and 4 year old. The place is cosy and spacious at the same time! Adri is a fantastic host who goes the extra mile to make his guests feel at home. It was raining and chilly while we were there so the fireplace came in handy and warmed up the place. The bedroom had a cot for our youngest and ample selection toys which kept our kids entertained for the days we didn't go out. Ruebys is close to all Dullstroom's amenities and town centre making it an ideal location to set up. Overall a wonderful experience and we look forward to visiting again!

Thank you so much for a lovely stay — the place was absolutely beautiful and felt so homely. We especially loved the peaceful setting and the convenient location, not far from town. If I may kindly offer a small suggestion for future guests — it might be worthwhile to consider adding WiFi and the full DStv bouquet. While we thoroughly enjoyed our time, having those added comforts could make the experience even more seamless, especially for guests who may need to stay connected or wind down with more viewing options. All in all, it was a wonderful stay and I’ll definitely recommend your place to others!

The perfect weekend away! Very serene, comfortable, quiet, well looked after, spotless place. The staff were incredible, helpful, and kind. Debbie and Gerald are the perfect hosts! Our dogs also loved it! I would give 10 stars if I could :)

We weren’t ready for this. You read of amazing places and then you get there…. And sometimes when you get there they exceed your wildest expectations… this is one of those situations. From the spectacular setting with breathtaking views. An extremely well appointed kitchen to friendly staff that accommodates their guests around every corner. When can we visit again !?

The house looks exactly like the photos, has all amenities listed as well as extra activities in the estate. Chrissie provided clear instruction how to get to the estate, check in details as well as offering her assistance if required.

The house was lovely and well equipped; however, the gas braai wasn't working and one of our nights was a braai meal. The bedrooms were very cold and in one bedroom we were unable to light a fire. I am sure the chimney was blocked. The sprinklers were on for the first day and night which made the house even colder. It would have been nice if we could have used a golf cart to drive the estate. The clubhouse food was good, and the kids enjoyed the play area and the tennis courts.

Bakoni Forest Lodge is a great place to enjoy with friends or Family members.. The surroundings is beautiful and you hear the river flow while sitting next to the bonfire at night. The staff was super friendly and the service was 5star. We will definitely be returning in the summer to enjoy the beautiful swimming pool and surroundings to hike to the waterfall. Thank you Debbie and Gerald you made our stay one for the Books to remember!
