This home offered more than just a place to sleep; it provided an experience. The highlight was undoubtedly the sunrise and sunset. Each morning/night the windows framed a breathtaking spectacle of colors, transforming the room into a vibrant canvas. The positioning of the house along the water maximized this natural asset, creating a sense of tranquility and escape. Beyond the view, the apartment was clean and well-equipped. Looking to experience this place again and the beautiful French community that makes the town even more appealing.

Place has a beautiful scenery & outdoor lake patio. Nurtured spot in the woods worth visiting any season of the year. Jacques was pleasant to speak too and generous. would surely visit once again.

We had a great weekend with friends at this great host's place! Everything went very well: he was extremely accommodating in letting us arrive earlier and leave later, which allowed us to fully enjoy our stay. In addition, he kindly offers to send us a coat that was forgotten on site! The cottage was true to the photos, very clean, and ideally located, with the river right across the street. Even the neighbors were lovely: they spontaneously offered to lend us their paddles to enjoy them too. A relaxed, caring atmosphere, and memories in your head. Thanks again!

Pierre was a blameless host, from arrival to departure he was very responsive to our messages. We went during the big storm of February 16! (More than 40cm) Pierre made us feel safe and was not close at all times to come and clear the entrance! The place was very clean and as indicated! The next time I visit this area, I'm definitely going back!

We loved our stay in the ancestral house of the island of Embarras: it is a house full of history and character, with a country style. Having coffee in the morning looking at the water in the channel or reading in the afternoon hammock allowed us to relax and enjoy a quieter rhythm. The kitchen is super well-equipped and the air conditioning upstairs in the bedrooms was appreciated during this heat wave. Things to do: a boat hike through the different islands of Sorel.

Pleasant stay in this beautiful little refuge in the forest. The site is quiet and gives access to beautiful hiking trails. We'll definitely be back. 😊

Second stay here. Location is great to drive around and see parts of the eastern townships. It is great being on the water and the beautiful scenery. Internet service is great and has all the amenities that you would need.

Really enjoyed our 3 nights at Séjour. So convenient to everything in Knowlton. I thought that the bathroom and kitchen were well done. Best shower in a 10 day trip. Glad of the extra little bed since I have my hand in a splint at the moment. Needed extra room. Lovely. Also appreciated the little front deck. So nice for having a drink of wine at the end of a busy day of sightseeing. The Eastern Townships are absolutely beautiful and I’m so glad we ventured out of the big cities for 3 days.

Has such a lovely stay here. The hosts were very responsive and kind. It was so considerate of them to supply a stocked fridge/freezer and allowed me to hold my baggage there due to having an evening flight. Beautiful area and very convenient for transport into Downtown MTL. Very much reccomended.

The location is the most pleasant thing about this condo. Close to everything; walking trails, city center with beautiful shops and restaurants, beach right across the street. You can do anything on foot.

We had a lovely time at Sandra's. A welcoming host and lots of thoughtful touches. Very well equipped, a lot of things available, both hygiene products and snacks... Clean and cute accommodation, close to the airport. Small downside for the small staircase, not easy with large suitcases. We recommend and will be back 😊

Amazing gem in the middle of the forest! It demonstrate a perfect harmony between nature and human craft. Lake, horses and a lot of lands so our dog was super happy. We were there 4days but it felt like a two week retreat in terms of recovery and déconnection! Simply amazing

Outside for aquatic enthusiasts, everything is there. Terrace with fireplace, etc... as shown in the photos. If you are looking for calm, the dock by the lake will delight you; the house is located in the heart of the village which is quite busy and noisy during the day (that's life) but around 8:00 p.m. everything is quieter; everything is central, everything is done on foot, grocery store, etc... You won't have a view of the lake from inside, you have to leave the house and go to the grounds. There was only one exit from the house, no emergency exit, maybe the windows adjacent to the sidewalk were one. I enjoyed my stay, the hosts were very helpful and I recommend it to everyone according to your needs, everything is there.

Very clean and cozy cottage. Comfy beds, well-stocked kitchen, and peaceful surroundings. It was a great home base for exploring nearby attractions (we enjoyed Sutton, Douglass Beach in Knowlton, driving the Route des Vines, and visiting the Granby Zoo and Montreal Biodome with our toddler). We appreciated the family-friendly features such as the high chair, baby plates and utensils, and baby gates which gave us peace of mind as the cottage spans two floors. Fanny also was very responsive.

Absolutely beautiful Airbnb on the lake. Had a blast kayaking until sunset, also checking out a Spa an hour away. We loved our stay. Very clean airbnb, comfortable bed, relaxing chairs both inside and out by the water. It would be an easy choice to stay here again in the future.

Very nice cottage, well maintained, very clean and everything is there.

We came for a few days as a couple to rest. The space is a safe haven. It is very well equipped, the bedding is very comfortable. The accommodation is well thought out and communication with the hosts before and during made the stay all the more enjoyable. This is by far our best Airbnb experience. We'll be back with pleasure if we have a chance.

We can’t thank Lisa enough for sharing her home with us, even though our stay was fairly short. Lisa was a very gracious host, very responsive, and very friendly. The cottage (and backyard) looks like it’s from a postcard - very picturesque. The surroundings are extremely calm and relaxing. The entire home was well equipped with everything we needed (cleaning supplies, condiments, towels, kitchen utensils etc.) and very clean. The beds were super comfortable and the pillows even better. Also, having the pool clean and the water nice and warm was the cherry on top! We look forward to visiting Lisa’s home again, and fully take in what the area has to offer. Thank you very much Lisa!

This place was wonderful! It had positively everything we needed :) it was cozy and the covered porch was a true gift on our rainy weekend getaway. I highly recommend!

House combining charm and comfort. Despite an earlier arrival than expected, Marie-Pier welcomed us with kindness. Peaceful neighborhood with nearby services. Portneuf Regional Park 25 minutes away where hiking and canoeing await you at very attractive prices (just don't forget the mosquito repellent). Excellent stay
